Buy the Land And Cultivate in Different World

The house is secured, water and salt are secured, and the crops in the field are growing well. So the next thing I did was to explore the area around the house.

The first reason is the search for food. The crops that are thriving in the fields still have a long way to go before they are harvested. The portable food brought in from the royal city soon ran out, the plan was to gather the naturally available and feed on them until the stable supply of food through agriculture was put on track. I feel like a Jomon*. ( pre historic humans of Japan)

Fortunately, the land I bought has the sea and mountains. Both are a treasure trove of life and food.  So I decided to take a break from tending the field and walk around.  

First of all, the sea.

The sea here in this world is much more beautiful than the sea I used to be.

The sea is blue and the beach is white.

It is truly a feeling of unspoiled nature.

「It feels good to just walk on the beach….」

My footprints are all that’s left on the beach.

For some reason, I felt the urge to go into the sea and swim.

I’m the only one here, so didn’t hesitate. I stripped off all my clothes in one fell swoop and jumped into the sea.

「The water is colder than I thought! 」

Nevertheless, I enjoyed swimming to my heart’s content.

How many years has it been since I’ve had a god damn crawl?

Of course, it doesn’t stop at swimming and playing.

The real purpose of coming to the sea is to procure food.

Here once again, one of the tools bought from the royal city rages on.

It’s a harpoon.

It was the right thing to do to buy a place where you might have the sea to emigrate. 

They were a couple of bucks, but not a big deal to me as a 『Supreme Bearer』gift holder.

All I have to do is hold this and I’ll be a great fisherman!

It was only a short move from the shoreline, it turned into a rugged rocky area.

There are small, edible creatures among these rocks.

Just dive into the ocean with a harpoon…….

I was most surprised when I caught small fish, shellfish and octopus.

I went up to the beach with these, and it was quite wild and full to cook and eat them.

Being able to acquire salt in advance made the meal even more enjoyable.

I’d like to say, after eating, that the fish and shellfish I caught in this sea are slightly different from the ones in the world I lived in.

The colour of the body, the horns, the fangs, and so on.

I feel like the octopus had nine legs. I ate it without checking it carefully, though.

Well, I guess it’s a different world if you think about it.

During the cooking process, the divine gift 『Supreme Bearer』came into play, and it could be dismantled and even cooked with a knife.

It is a 『Supreme Bearer』that can even differentiate seawater into fresh water and minerals.

Even if any of the seafood you ate today was poisonous, let’s assume that you were able to neutralize it through the power of your gift while cooking it.

I also picked up some more seaweed on the beach.

It somehow resembled wakame.

I’d like to make miso soup with wakame in the future, but not until I can make miso here.

There was also some seaweed.

Because it was sticking to the rocky beach, I picked it up and collected it, stuck it to a suitable board, and left it. Dried seaweed are best

For the first time, I felt that I could reunite with the processed food that reminded me of the world I was in.

When the onigiri is complete, the first thing to do is to make an offering on the altar of Hephaistos-san.

Somehow it’s a preconceived notion, that the god loves onigiri. Surely I love it.

Also, I found a sea urchin at the bottom of the ocean, but I gave up this time because it is impossible to collect with my current equipment.

After all, in order to fully enjoy the otherworldly self-sufficient life, we still don’t have enough equipment and facilities.

So, having enjoyed the sea to the fullest, we decided to go up the mountain the next day.

The mountain was once entered to procure lumber for the house, but this time it felt like a half hike to see a lot of things.

Of course, the main purpose this time was to collect things that could be used as food, but what I can think of in the mountain area is first of all nuts and wild vegetables, right?

I’m sure there are mushrooms, but I hear it’s hard to tell the poisonous ones from the edible ones. 

Such ecology will not change even in the other world, and it is probably safe not to touch it until you have some knowledge.

Even if there’s a chance that 『Supreme Bearer』can purify the poison, it’s still scary.

As for the rest, well………

You can also hunt in the mountains, just as you would fish in the sea.

But hunting against animals in the mountains is bound to be more of a battle with giants than with small fish in the sea.

It’s going to be a big deal, and I don’t think I can do it on a day-long picnic.

So I’ve made up my mind that I won’t this time.

I felt like it would be all right if I could pick up wild vegetables or nuts and go home.

And yet we came across.
