Chapter 46: Writing Name (1)

Zhouzhou who was weeping endlessly was healed by Huo Xiaoxiao’s gentle hug, he blushed and stopped crying. While he was still sobbing, teacher Chen pulled her away.

Lu Jingyi elbowed Yi Qian in the classroom: “Yi Qian, look at that, that kid actually hugged Huo Xiaoxiao just now!”

Yi Qian frowned.

Huo Xiaoxiao entered the classroom with four boxes of chocolates that Zhouzhou had given her and Lu Jingyi immediately swarmed over.

“Xiaoxiao, who was the guy who hugged you just now and why did he hug you?”

“Did he give the chocolate too?”

“Why did he give you chocolate?”

Yi Qian was the only one who remained silent.

“His name is Zhouzhou and he is a junior who’s also a good friend of mine. I like the chocolate that he gave me once, so he brought a lot for me today.”

Lu Jingyi glanced at each other.

“Then can we taste the chocolate?”

“Sure.” Huo Xiaoxiao opened one of the boxes of chocolates. Lu Jingyi and others took one each, and Huo Xiaoxiao asked them, “How is it, is it delicious?”

The sweet taste of the chocolate was rich and mellow,. It was too damn very delicious.

But Lu Jingyi and others immediately made an unpalatable expression, “It’s not that great.”

“Yes, it is not that great at all.”

“It’s really not. Yi Qian’s chocolate was much better.”

Huo Xiaoxiao curled her lips, “It is obviously delicious.”

She put one in Yi Qian’s mouth, “Is it delicious?”

Yi Qian was caught off guard and was being stuffed with a chocolate in his mouth, looking at Huo Xiaoxiao with a flushed face, and subconsciously said, “It is delicious.”

Lu Jingyi jabbed at him again.

Yi Qian reacted and corrected himself, “But.. it is not as good as the ones which I have, I’ll bring some tomorrow you can taste the difference yourself.”

Huo Xiaoxiao was dubious, “Really?”

“Of course, I’ll bring some for you  tomorrow, you can taste it yourself, you’ll forget about his instantly.”

“I still think this one is delicious, if you don’t like it, then i’ll keep all of it.”

Huo Xiaoxiao happily put the chocolate into her little bag and sat down.

She didn’t pay attention to Yi Qian’s very upset expression.

Teacher Zhao walked in from outside, “Children, please sit down quickly. Yi Qian, Lu Jingyi and you guys, sit down quickly.”

The four demon kings were reluctant to sit in their seats.

“Yesterday teacher taught everyone how to write six. Now children please take out your homework and put them on the table. Teacher now wants to see who wrote it correctly!”

“Okay!” The many voices echoed.

After some rustling, several children took out their homework from their small school bags and put them on the table.

Lu Jingyi scratched his head and looked at Yi Qian, “Yi Qian, did you do your homework?”

Yi Qian calmly took out his workbook from his bag.

Lu Jingyi looked at Jiang Yue again, “Jiang Yue, did you do it?”

Jiang Yue took out his workbook from his bag.

“Xiang Chen…”

Xiang Chen took out his workbook.

“Wow, you guys are really not my brothers! Didn’t I call you guys last night and said no need to do it?”

Teacher Zhao said, “Lu Jingyi, get your homework out quickly.”

Lu Jingyi glared at the three of them and stood up, “Teacher, I didn’t do the homework.”

“It is you again! Lu Jingyi, why don’t you do your homework?”

Lu Jingyi bowed his head and admitted his mistakes, obviously this was not the first time he had done something like this, “Teacher, I am sorry, I was wrong.”

“Sit down, finish it now and do it twice.”

Lu Jingyi reluctantly sat down, took out a pen and paper as he looked at Yi Qian and the other three with annoyance. For him they were traitors.

Huo Xiaoxiao looked at the six written by Yi Qian.

The letter ‘field’ was crookedly written all over the page, um… although it wasn’t pretty, but it was pretty good for them.

It is natural for a ringleader to be a little arrogant when he is reborn in kindergarten.

After checking the homework of the entire class, Teacher Zhao praised the class then praised the three separately.

“Children, come, and reach out your fingers together with the teacher.” Teacher Zhao raised her hand and pointed out a finger.

“Seven fingers are seven. Today teacher will teach you how to write seven.”

The teacher turned around on the blackboard, she slowly drew each stroke of the number seven. After that she had the children practise it on their own before checking and praising them for their efforts.

When the teacher reached Huo Xiaoxiao’s side, the teacher brought some paper and pencil, “Xiaoxiao, since you transferred to our class today, I’ll teach you how to hold a pen first.”

Huo Xiaoxiao had only held a paint brush before and it was not difficult to casually scribble  with it. This was the first time she was holding a pencil for writing.

Teacher Zhao placed the pencil in Huo Xiaoxiao’s palm and taught her to grasp the pencil with her thumb and index finger.

“Yes, that’s it, you are really smart, come on, i’ll show you how to write.”

Teacher Zhao held her hand and traced a few neat “sevens” on paper.

After finishing writing, “Xiaoxiao, try doing it yourself.”

Isn’t it just seven? There was no problem at all.

Huo Xiaoxiao held the pen and confidently wrote seven on the paper.

One twist and one vertical hook… Since this was the first time I had held a pencil, my hand was slightly shaking.

Picking up the pencil, Huo Xiaoxiao looked at the seven she had written in front of her, then looked at her hand holding the pencil, her smile gradually disappeared.

“…”

This is… the power of the seal?

No matter how powerful she was, now in this body which was less than three years old, she was nothing but a little  weak girl?

Sorry for being rude.

She had no right to laugh at the words written by Yi Qian and the others.

This stroke looked like it was suffering from Parkinson disease, and the vertical hook was like the nine bends and seventeen bends of the Yellow River gradually bending to Siberia.

Why couldn’t she control her hands!

Huo Xiaoxiao’s thoughts collapsed.

My head is full of who I am, why is my writing such garbage, why my handwritten characters are worse than elementary kids?

Where was her beautiful handwriting?

To put it bluntly, if someone sprinkled rice on paper, chickens with ink on their feet were better than her.

The teacher still encouraged her from her side, “Xiaoxiao that is awesome! To be able to write such neatly on your first try, come on, try to write a few more times!”

“…Okay.”

After the teacher left, Yi Qian came over in a hurry, “Huo XiaoXiao, show me what you wrote.”

“Me too, Me too!”

Huo Xiaoxiao blushed, she clutched her notebook and held it to her chest, “You write it your own, don’t look at mine!”

“Just a quick look, Teacher Zhao said you wrote it well, everyone’s curious.”

If it weren’t for the fact that the ones in front of her were young kids, Huo Xiaoxiao might have misunderstood that they were satirizing themselves!

She glanced sideways at the “seven” that was written in Yi Qian’s book, one stroke and one vertical hook was neatly written and was much more beautiful than hers.

Huo Xiaoxiao became furious: “I don’t want to show it to you! You write your own, don’t disturb me!”

Seeing that Huo Xiaoxiao was a little angry, Yi Qian sat down to finish his own work and stopped pestering her.

There were more things to learn in middle school than elementary school.

To put it simply, the elementary school only needed to develop some basic living habits and abilities, and most of the time was spent in games, playing and a healthy growth.

In  middle school, you need to learn some basic knowledge of mathematics and language, such as music, art, language, common sense, sports, etiquette and so on.

For the whole day, Huo Xiaoxiao was in a state of skepticism about life, not about anything else, just for her “seven” of nine bends and eighteen bends.

As school approached, Huo Xiaoxiao couldn’t relieve herself from this low pressure mood.

“Xiaoxiao, what’s wrong?”

“It is nothing, Grandpa comes to pick me up, I will leave first, see you tomorrow.”

“See you tomorrow.”

Huo Xiaoxiao got into the car and went home without saying a word and caught the attention of Old Master Huo.

“Xiaoxiao, what’s the matter? Why are you so upset? Did someone bully you?”

Huo Xiaoxiao shook her head, “No.”

Old Master Huo looked at her with worried eyes.

After reaching home, Huo Xiaoxiao plunged into her room, vowing to smash and put an end to her “seven”!

Soon Auntie Zhao brought some fruits for her, she also wanted to see what she was doing, but Huo Xiaoxiao hid the notebook under her elbows with both hands, not allowing Auntie Zhao to have another look.

“Xiaoxiao, what is it that you don’t want me to see?”

Huo Xiaoxiao’s self esteem didn’t allow such ugly words to be seen by others!

“It is.. It is the homework assigned by the teacher. I will show it to auntie when I finish it.”

Auntie Zhao couldn’t help smiling when she saw her face, “Okay.”

It was six o’clock, Huo Suicheng rarely came home that early, Huo Xiaoxiao gobbled up her dinner, wiped her mouth and got off the chair, to quickly return to her room.

Huo Suicheng had only eaten half a bowl of rice in his hands. It was the first time he saw Huo Xiaoxiao eating her food so quickly, as he was not used to it.

“What happened?”

Old Master Huo frowned, “Something’s not right. Ever since she got back from kindergarten she hasn’t said anything.”

This remark caught Huo Suicheng’s attention, he thought about it and theorized “It may be because of what happened yesterday.”

“What happened yesterday?”

Huo Suicheng told old Mr. Huo about Huo Xiaoxiao saw Ji Wenxin in kindergarten yesterday, and what Huo Xiaoxiao asked him about her mother.

When the old man heard everything, he put his chopsticks on the table, “Why didn’t you tell me this earlier?”

“I am still thinking about how to tell her.”

“Listen, Xiaoxiao is smarter than kids of her age. You think that she may not understand the emotions in your heart. Now that she has asked about her mother, find an opportunity and talk to her.”

Huo Suicheng thought for a moment and nodded, “I see.”

In the room, Huo Xiaoxiao wrote swiftly, filled up several pages of the workbook with one curl, and finally wrote a satisfactory “seven”.

Too many “seven”s were written, to the extent that she almost didn’t recognize the word.

But now this “seven” character was readable.

Too much writing, Huo Xiaoxiao’s esthetics are a little numb.

The first time she wrote it, the requirements should not have been too high. When written like this, her father and grandfather must definitely praise her.

After admiring herself, she took the workbook and went to her dad.

Downstairs, her father was still talking with her grandpa about Ji Wenxin.

“Now that Xiaoxiao’s mother is back, find some time to talk to her and see what she thinks.”

“I will find time to talk to her later.”

“Also, if Xiaoxiao wants to see her mother, you should take her to see her some time, you can’t keep a child away from her her mother forever.”

“I understand, but…”

“Xiaoxiao!” Old Mr. Huo exclaimed.

Huo Suicheng immediately turned around.

Huo Xiaoxiao was still very short, her head was just over the height of the sofa cushion, coming down from the upstairs, her figure happened to be blocked by the back of the sofa.

When Old Master Huo noticed her, she was already standing on the sofa.

“How long have you been there?”

Huo Xiaoxiao took her homework book and ran to Huo Suicheng excitedly, “It has been a while.”

Huo Suicheng glanced at Old Master Huo and hugged her as he sat back down on the sofa, “Then you heard what daddy and grandpa said?”

Huo Xiaoxiao nodded.

Huo Suicheng took a deep breath, “Xiaoxiao, let daddy explain, regarding this matter, daddy originally wanted to tell you about this later…”

Huo Xiaoxiao stared at her homework.

“Daddy never told you about your mother. Do you remember the auntie you met at the entrance of the kindergarten that day? She is your mother. When you were born, your mother left you for various reasons. Now she is back, do you still want to see her again?”

Huo Xiaoxiao nodded again.

“…” After a short silence, Huo Suicheng continued, “Then let’s find some time, daddy will take you to see her.”

Huo Xiao Xiao looked up at Huo Suicheng, “Daddy, are you finished?”

“…finished.”

“Then daddy can you give me a sign?”

“?”

Huo Xiaoxiao opened her workbook and shyly handed it to Huo Suicheng, “The teacher has given some homework. I have finished writing it. You have to sign the workbook.”

Huo Suicheng looked at the crooked “seven” in the homework book, visually shocked, “Did you write this”?

“(hold one’s head high)! I wrote it. Today the teacher taught me to use the pencil and also taught me to write this character. Take a look daddy, did I write it well?”

Old Master Huo leaned over to take a look and let out a heavy cough.

Huo Suicheng understood that he should not criticize heavily “…not bad, it’s quite good.”

Huo Xiaoxiao followed up and asked: “Really? Where is it good?”

“Fortunately…” Huo Suicheng thought for a while, but couldn’t figure out why, “If you hadn’t said, I really wouldn’t have known that this was a ‘seven’.”

“…”
