Chapter 7: Just because it was a child, could he be casual? (3)

“Back to Royal Orchid Villa.”

“Yes.”

Royal Orchid Villa was located in the center of the city, in a prime location. It was a renowned central villa, the private residence of Huo Suicheng, and he had never brought anyone back there.

Half an hour later, the car stopped at the gates of Royal Orchid Villa.

Huo Suicheng helped Huo Xiaoxiao into the building with one hand. The staff on duty opened the door of the lobby for him with a smile, pressed the elevator button, and waited for it to close. Only then did she see the baby held in Huo Suicheng’s arms.

This child is so lovely!

The skin was fair, crystal purple pupils embedded in the dimly opened eyes, and a chubby little face that anyone would want to pinch.

But she was slightly startled.

She was a staff member who worked alone for Mr. Huo. As soon as he returned to Royal Orchid Villa, he would be served by her. It could even be said that there was a certain amount of close contact every week. Still, she had never heard of any woman around Mr. Huo, who was pregnant. Furthermore, she had never seen Mr. Huo bring anyone back.

Or… was this child not Mr. Huo’s?

But the baby was wrapped in Mr. Huo’s clothes. Who on earth was this child to be treated so well by him?

While she was lamenting whose child it was, their floor arrived.

With no time to think, she stretched out her hand to block the elevator door and let Huo Suicheng go out, then bowed and closed the door.

When they reached the house, Huo Suicheng passed through the living room with Huo Xiaoxiao in his arms, stopped in front of his master bedroom for a while, turned to a second bedroom, and put Huo Xiaoxiao on the bed.

Lying on the bed, Huo Xiaoxiao watched Huo Suicheng putting her down and turning to leave. She did not see any desire to take care of her. She extended her hand in despair.

Mr. Huo!

Mr. Huo!

Mr. Huo!

Dad!

Don’t go!

Don’t leave me here alone!

Am I too much trouble to leave me here? Take away the suit wrapped around me, by the way!

She straightened her legs and tried to push down the suit that covered her.

But Huo Suicheng really loved her. Fearing that his baby daughter would get sick due to the wind, he wrapped her up tightly and even tied a knot with his sleeve.

Huo Xaioxiao moved her calf, yet she couldn’t remove the suit. She finally collapsed on the bed, panting.

Also, unknown whether it was a psychological effect, but she always felt that the wet suit pickled her like salted fish.

She looked like a salted fish, unable to turn over.

Others who had transmigrated experienced brilliant fame and fortune while she was naked and helpless.

Grumble!

…Can’t even eat rice.

Huo Xiaoxiao’s hands touched her noisy stomach.

From the hospital to the outskirts, and then back to here, although only one hour had passed, she was famished.

She hadn’t felt this hungry for a long time. It was as if her chest was pressed against her back, her stomach starving and empty.

In addition, the thought that there was only Huo Suicheng in this large house made Huo Xiaoxiao despair and close her eyes.

A man who had never raised a child probably did not know how to even make baby milk, let alone having to feed her once every two hours.

Huo Xiaoxiao exerted all her energy to lift her head. She held out her trembling hand and tried to turn over, but the salted fish slumped back.

It’s no longer important to save the villain. She would starve sooner or later.

From a full-ranked boss to a newbie, obviously, this was a waste of resources. A strong soul was imprisoned in this weak little body and would have to be abandoned eventually.

No way! She couldn’t go on like this.

In order not to die, she needed to do something to survive.

She had to find a way to save herself.

Looking around the whole room, floor-to-ceiling windows, desks, queen size bed, and wardrobes, all the furniture was spotless, and there was no trace of use.

The door was not closed, and outside sounds could be clearly heard.

To avoid starving to death, Huo Xiaoxiao used the last of her strength to burst into tears.

Still, there was no movement outside the room.

She became even more desperate.

That old fart wouldn’t just leave her here for one night, right?

Huo Xiaoxiao collapsed on the bed and looked at the ceiling with a pale and pallid complexion.

She had no strength to cry anymore. Everything in her eyes looked like food. Even her own hands appeared to be drumsticks. She wanted to take a bite so badly.

All men are useless!

Looking at her chubby little hands, Huo Xiaoxiao salivated. Her drool dripping, she put her thumb into her mouth. Before she could taste the delicious pork trotters, she shed humble tears.

This prosperous and harmonious society really wanted to starve her to death?

Or did A’Xiao bring her ending forward?

Just as Huo Xiaoxiao despaired, the door opened. She looked towards the door with a face of surprise and saw Huo Suicheng coming with a feeder.

Facing Huo Xiaoxiao’s gaze, Huo Suicheng handed the feeder to her mouth without a change in his expression.

“Drink, this is powdered milk.”

“???” Just because it was a child, could he be casual?

Dad!

I am your daughter!

Your blood flows in me!

Blood is thicker than water!!

Do I deserve only powdered milk and plain boiled water???
