I Became A System

Chapter 134 - Selena's Bizarre Movements

When I say it is interesting, what I mean is the outcome.

Selena is moving bizarrely, but she still feels confident. Though I don't have expertise in swords and fighting, I can still feel that it is weird. Even Ellena was raising her eyebrows.

Well, Rosellete too. She was perplexed by Rosellete's movement when the purpose of the excessive movement is to confuse the opponent. But instead of confusing Ellena, Selena was making plenty of open areas where Ellena could attack.

This isn't boxing, where the hook, uppercut, or jab are what people should watch out for. I just don't know Selena's case. Maybe she was impressed by this movement and tried to implement it in her swordsmanship?

Cling!

But before I could notice it, Selena was moving like a snake. Her footwork gave her an advantage, lowering Ellena's defense.

She was a link-squirming pathetic snake, but crazily domineering.

"Aren't you embarrassed by your movements, Selena?"

I think that Ellena didn't mean to be rude, but I can understand her. Even though it was giving her a greater benefit in Ellena's lesser defense, she's still opened above. This isn't the best movement for a swordsman. I bet that this would be appropriate for assassins or tanks.

"Shut up! I know that this is a weird move, but the old man that taught me this was too strong! He defeated a B-rank monster with these movements!"

Oh… So it might be a technique? I don't know. As I felt that there were two types of techniques that existed. The first is the original, and the second was the imitation.

I can guess that Selena was just trying to copy that old man she mentioned. Though, it was utterly funny to see.

"Did you even practice it well? You said that he taught you?"

Clang!

Selena tried to attack Ellena with a fast swing from below, but Ellena caught it with her swaying sword clockwise.

"Of course!"

A whistle in the wind resounded when Selena almost lost her balance. Ellena made a move, forwarded hastily, and launched a thrust under Selena's arm. When Ellena saved a position, she tried to swing the sword, battling with Selena's to remove it.

And another clang echoed as Selena's sword flew away from her, twisting in the air.

The sword landed perfectly from a distance, slightly off to the side, thrusting to the ground.

"Ha…" Selena breathed heavily and held her chest under her breathing.

"You scared me to death! I thought you were going to kill me!" Selena complained.

However, Ellena just chuckled, "Your movements had flaws. You can practice it and it's better if you do that movement with a shield since you are widely open."

Ellena just ignored Selena's cries and gave her advice. Though Selena made a pouting complaint again, Ellena just laughed it off and helped her friend stand up.

"You need training and I as well. But I hope that before we become an official party in the guild, you already have the capability to protect yourself." Ellena calmly said.

"What's with the drama? I joined you so that I could also have an adventure. You make it sound like I am in danger."

"You are still not in danger. But I want to keep you at my side before I defeat your brother's group. I wouldn't know if they discovered you as my friend and used you to make me surrender. I don't mean that you are weak, but I don't want those people I care about to be in danger because of me."

Right. It will be almost time before that mysterious guild digs up Ellena's true identity. I think that the reason why they aren't showing some signs is that they are intently checking Ellena.

I think the information they only got was from their client. And the reason that they failed was that the information was not enough. And so, they would surely need to do some heavy digging to be sure they were taking care of Ellena.

I hope I am not just being hysterical, but this is common sense. If you don't finish an enemy, they will always come back to you for revenge. Somehow, if they were fixed on defeating you.

Selena just sighed as she looked at Ellena's serious eyes. "Okay. I get it. My brother seems to be tainted by evil. Sighs… You're too hard to understand, Ellena."

"So. It's my turn, right?... I guess not yet." Rosellete suddenly turned and glared at the surroundings.

…So… That organization finally discovered Ellena's true identity? It's kind of problematic. We will eventually need to postpone the duel with Verxal… or continue it. After all, it wasn't just for the purpose of scaring these people. It was also for the long term, anyway.

Men clad in dark armament appeared, surrounding the four girls from afar. They were at least meters away and hiding behind some trees, but their presence reached Ellena's senses, as well as Rosellete's.

Ellena looked at Rosellete who noticed it. She nodded and picked up Selena's sword then handed it to her.

"Now. This wasn't what I expected. I was thinking of making a mysterious party, but it turned out that organization discovered it first before we even established it." Ellena mumbled in disappointment, leaving Selena confused.

"What are you talking about?" Selena asked.

"Selena… I was stupid. I shouldn't have visited you."

Well, forgive me, Ellena. You were actually stupid. But it was a lesson learned, so it's not hopeless. At least you are not just filled with a responsible attitude now. You know how to weigh things. Even if it's slow, it's acceptable.

The men that surrounded us were at least 40 at a minimum. Oh boy… How come 'Supreme' sent this much just to remove a girl from existence? He just doesn't want his reputation tarnished, no?

He didn't underestimate Ellena. It was commendable, but he could've at least had some pride. He is bullying a little girl!

Well, if Ellena was. However, complaining is pointless. They won't hear me anyway. So I just need to at least support Ellena.

"Ellena. Do you want me to bless you? Their auras seem not to be underestimated. " I said.

I also noticed it. The ambusher from before was at least one of the ranks of their organization. And Uno and the other one was the leader of the supposed operation. Because it turned out to be a failure, he may have sent some of his men who have the proper skills.

"Yup. Please do so, Aaron. I will activate the Pressure Aura so that the rest can fight them. I can't handle everyone by myself."

Oh boy. This development is sudden. Though I hate to admit it, I was surprised. And obviously, that means I can't underestimate anyone again.

"Okay," I said before I activated my second system.
