I Have Seven Dragon Souls In a cultivation world

230 Chapter 230: Battle's end

Seeing this, the bandits and soldiers desperately retreated, trying to avoid such an ominous wave. But as soon as they were covered, they realised it didn't affect them. Instead, this time, it was the undead creatures who suffered.

As soon as they were covered by this aura, the undead creatures, beings who were supposed to feel nothing, actually started to shake!

Fear! Undead beings were actually feeling fear!

In disbelief, the soldiers turned to the sky to see what terrifying being could have caused this and were greeted with a sight that made them understand.

As they looked up, they were greeted with the sight of a humongous skeletal behemoth.

It was a horrifying Draconic creature with thick black bones wrapped in eerie green flames. Each flame seemed to release a faint howl as the giant figure radiated an overwhelming aura of death!

In the face of this, even the valiant soldiers of many battlefields were disturbed.

Facing such a manifestation of death, it was impossible for any living creature to remain completely unaffected.

And that's why the undead creature's fear made so much sense.

It wasn't the fear of Power or aura that suppressed them or else Dante's dragon souls would have had a similar effect. No, what affected these creatures was the simple suppression that a high-ranking undead had over lower ranked undead.

A Dracolich stood at the very peak of the undead food chain. SO these low ranking skeletons and zombies could barely even move in its presence.

As all this was going on, Klent wouldn't just remain still.

In an instant, his figure flashed by as he zoomed towards the two stunned bandits. Before they could even realise what was happening, two thin red lines apprised on their necks.

Klent didn't even stop by to watch the deaths of the enemies that had been troubling for so long and instead sped towards the bandit fortress.

But the bandits wouldn't just stand by and watch as Klent approached.

In an instant, Klent was bombarded by all sorts of attacks.

But even with this, Klent didn't slow down, instead a silver glow burst around his body.

This was the sign of the first level of divine sword body forging.

In the moment of desperation at death's door, Klent had actually made a breakthrough in his body refining techniques!

Such disgusting talent and luck was something only a child of heaven could enjoy.

But Klent didn't have much time to think about his fortunate circumstances as His body barrelled through the endless rain of attacks.

Eventually, a brutally worn down Klent stopped just a few metres from the wall of the bandit fortress.

His tired pair of eyes looked at the seemingly insurmountable amount of wall of enemies and sighed with a rare smile on his face.

"Master Rho, it's all yours from here on out."

Instantly, a low chuckle could be heard emanating from Klent's body

"It's time for this old man to Stretch his legs."

Before the bandits could even realise what was happening, a cold voice rang in their ears

"Sever."

That was the last thing they heard before they were blinded by a burst of silver light and their heads were separated from their shoulders!

The remaining bandits didn't even stop to consider what could have caused the boy to change so rapidly and instead quickly began to back away from the terrifying monster

Sword master Rho didn't even stop to pay attention to these individuals and instead just strolled towards the edge of the barrier.

His now golden eyes quickly scanned the barrier before a slight smile appeared on his face

'Found it.'

The instant he locked onto the flaw in the  formation, he just raised his and swung it.

As he did so, a giant blade of silver energy was sent hurtling towards the barony fortress. But just before it could collide, a giant barrier of shadowy energy could be seen blocking the entire fortress.

Seeing this, Sword master Rho just sneered as he spoke

"Break for me!"

within seconds, countless cracks seemed to appear on the barrier and it wasn't long before the entire shadowy barrier exploded into countless fragments.

The bandits inside and outside of the fortress could just watch on in disbelief as they witnessed a single man break down their seemingly invincible defensive formation.

But whilst the Bandits were left frozen in shock, Dante's forces were anything but idle.

On the complete other side of the bandit fortress, a figure could be seen walking towards the Entrance with a giant bloodied battle axe in his grip.

The ferocious cry of an enraged bull seemed to ring out across the battlefield before a loud shout was heard.

"Today marks the end of reign for the bandits of the Zrudon region! Follow me soldiers! Kill!"

Without any hesitation, Lennox brought down his humongous battle axe down on the giant gates and within just three deafening thuds, blasted it off its hinges.

Seeing the gates to the fortress open, the soldiers were seemingly inspired with a new vigour and charged madly after Lennox's leading figure!

…..

With the protective formation broken and Dante being back to help it  just took a few more minutes before the bandits were all completely slaughtered.

Dante had said it before when he first came out. He was taking no prisoners.

He had given them a chance to surrender and accept a fair trial and since they refused, their only fate could be to die under his sword.

After completely eliminating the bandits, Dante spent the following days organising the aftermath of the battle and left the follow up control and gathering of resources and loot to his soldiers.

This wasn't his area of expertise. He knew that instead of trying to micromanage everything, things would just run much more smoothly if he left everyone to do tasks they were best at.

Currently, Dante was sitting in the main hall that used to belong to the bandit chief.
