I’ll Come Clean! I Am The King Of Lolan!

Chapter 84: You Must Apply What You've Learnt!

When Kyle heard his eldest son's heroic words, he could not help but feel a surge of emotion in his heart.

Since ancient times, who would not be willing to expand their territory and show off their might? They would be able to leave their names in history and be evaluated well by future dynasties.

If he did not do it, then his son could do it. Kyle was also delighted. He could not help but pat Weiss's hand.

"Well, it's good to see you have such ambition. As expected of my eldest prince. I hope that the flourishing Lolan will be jointly created by you and me, father and son combined!"

After they exchanged a few more words, Kyle looked at the carriage that was already halfway to their residence.

With a smile on his face, he said to Weiss, "In a while, go to the Ministry of Justice and the law department and dig up this old case.

"Don't say that it's my idea. Tell these officials of the Ministry of Justice and the law department that it's because you accidentally saw this case when you were reading the files of the previous years.

"Then, think of a solution and pass on the basis of the case your teacher gave you and the final verdict to these officials.

"You must remember that you are the First Prince. One day, you will have to face these palace officials alone. You are not young anymore. It's time for them to acknowledge your presence.

"In the future, you must remember whatever profound knowledge your teacher will teach you. You must know when and where to apply it.

"These are all my precious experiences in governing the country in the future. Don't just listen to them as a story. Otherwise, you will let down your father and your teacher's painstaking efforts!"

Weiss listened to Kyle's solemn words and hurriedly cupped his hands.

"Don't worry, father. I will take another carriage in front of the palace gate and go to the Ministry of Justice myself.

"After receiving the teacher's teachings, if I still don't know how to apply it, I will consider myself as a waste. I will not let you down."

Kyle nodded in satisfaction.

This eldest son of the first wife was more in line with his ambition.

Being obedient was his greatest strength, but sometimes he was too stubborn and easily fooled.

That was why Kyle wanted to entrust Weiss to Lorne.

Although Lorne was sometimes too playful and lively. At least there was one point he knew. Lorne would never teach harsh and improper knowledge.

At the very least, anything he taught could be useful for governing the country. In this way, he could avoid his First Prince being influenced by others and making any wrong choices.

The carriage soon arrived at the gate of the palace. Kyle first watched as Weiss boarded another carriage with a smile and headed in the direction of the Ministry of Justice.

After the First Prince left, Kyle said to the servant who had been following the carriage, "Pass on an order for me."

The servant immediately leaned his head over respectfully and carefully listened to what Kyle was going to say next.

Kyle gently knocked on the window of the carriage and said to the servant, "Go to Abner's mansion and tell him to pass on my decree!

"Ask him to gather the heads of the six tribes in the next few days and discuss a matter together.

"The content of this matter is to order all the departments in the country to check the backlog of fake-free cases in the previous kingdom.

"As long as we can find the records of the case files and trace the clues, we will investigate all of them.

"If the parties involved in these newly-opened old cases have not been punished, they will be re-convicted. If they already have been punished, make sure it will be recorded in the latest records.

"Other than this matter, you must complete this book and pass a message to Abner.

"In the world, there are no previous dynasties, and only I, the King of Lolan, can rule the world!"

The servant immediately bowed to Kyle, then quickly took a horse from the guard at the side, turned around, and galloped toward Abner's mansion.

After the servant left, Kyle leaned against the side of the carriage.

"Using one's heart to control the people, and using one's skills to control the world, this is the true mind of a King.

"Excellent, his methods are really superb. I really don't know how such a young and talented man can be so mature in the ways of the world.

"He is clearly a young man who is not even twenty years old, but he seems to have lived for seventy or eighty years and has looked down on the life of the world.

"I'm sure that he is the best at the art of scheming in the world!"

After lamenting for a while, Kyle got down from the carriage.

He said to a few guards, "The few of you follow me. The rest of the carriage will continue to return to the palace.

"If anyone asks, just say that I am resting. You are not allowed to mention this to anyone."

After all the guards respectfully expressed their understanding, Kyle directly disguised himself and left the side door of the palace on foot.

The carriage followed the original track and returned to the palace.

Of course, it was not a whim for Kyle to make such a sudden change in plans when he was returning to the palace.

He had a purposeful plan. He wanted to personally investigate and test the salt refining site that he had previously arranged for and check on the recruited workers.

This matter was related to his big plan to make money. It was the most important thing and must not be faked by others.

In addition, it was not appropriate to make a big fuss about this matter, so he still kept his identity a secret and went to personally check it out.

When he was far away from the palace, Kyle immediately rented an ordinary carriage and went all the way to the south of Lolan City.

This kind of business of refining crude salt could already be considered as industrial, so it took up a lot of land. The land was very expensive near the center of Lolan City, so naturally it had to be at the edge of the city.

The rented carriage galloped all the way, and it took a while for Kyle to stop at a manor on the outskirts of the city. Looking at this manor from the outside, one would only think that it was an ordinary landlord's house, and one would not be able to tell that inside will be the refining salt industry.

Kyle immediately had the carriage wait for him at a place slightly further away. Then, he brought a few guards into the manor.

For the next two hours, Kyle inspected the size of the manor and various places. After a rough look, he found that the few servants he had sent out had recruited these people. They all looked like young and strong laborers who worked in the farms in the nearby villages.

Then, he asked the leading servant some questions. After confirming that the minor officials in charge of the salt industry had obediently allowed this to happen, Kyle was finally relieved.

In short, this matter was fool proof. All aspects met Kyle's requirements.

Before he left, Kyle instructed the crowd, "All of you continue to stay here. I will arrange for people to protect this area soon. When the work officially starts, I will leave two to guard this place. The rest can then return to the palace."

After saying this, he stepped onto the carriage to return to the city under the respectful escort of the crowd.
