I’ll Come Clean! I Am The King Of Lolan!

After sending the servant away, Kyle immediately got into the carriage and left the palace. When he arrived at the tavern, Lorne was already open for business.

Of course, there was no indication when he opened his business except for the tavern door being open. 

As soon as Kyle stepped into the shop, he saw Lorne leaning on the table and studying Lolan's law book.

This time, Kyle noticed that Lorne was holding a pen and drawing on it, as if he was marking and modifying something. Kyle could not care less about the details and only rushed in excitedly.

The rapid footsteps immediately woke Lorne from his thought process. When he looked up and saw Kyle, he was surprised.

"Old friend, what are you doing here? It's not even lunchtime yet. Why are you here this early in the morning?"

In the past, Kyle would usually only come over during lunch, and very rarely for dinner. However, this was the first time he came here so early in the morning.

Kyle ran to the counter with an excited expression. He turned down his volume, but his tone was urgent.

Lorne's eyes lit up when he heard what Kyle said. He immediately threw the Lolan's law book in his hand aside.

As he said that, he ran to the kitchen and brought out the breakfast he had made in the morning.

Lorne made more food out of habit to prevent his appetite from suddenly acting up again. Therefore, a few minutes later, there was a big steamed bun, a stack of biscuits, some steamed vegetables, fried chicken, and some drinks on Kyle's table.

Kyle looked at the relatively exquisite, steaming, and fragrant breakfast, and could not help but drool.

He had been quite hungry this morning. After all, he had rushed out of the palace first thing in the morning and was delayed by the incident with Xuan Moster. How could he have time to eat?

So, he immediately took a bun in one hand and a chicken wing in the other.

Kyle immediately put down the food in his hands and wiped his hands on the provided cloth. Then, he picked up the blueprint and studied it.

This blueprint clearly recorded the entire process of the salt extraction.

It included the process of mixing salt into water at the beginning, then using a few layers of cotton and linen to stack together to create a crude filter.

Next, some ingredients that Lorne had concocted through various methods were added, and some chemical mixings were carried out.

After that, he re-dried them and turned the crude and compiled salt into fine white salt.

Kyle immediately rolled up the blueprint carefully and put it away. Then, he patted Lorne's shoulder excitedly.

Kyle made a gesture to show that he understood. Then, he calmed down. He continued to eat the breakfast that he had not finished.

After gulping down a few mouthfuls, Kyle remembered another reason he had come here.

"Lorne, do you know about the famous Xuan Moster?"

Lorne nodded slightly. Of course, he knew Xuan Moster, he was a great man who had traveled thousands of miles to India to exchange Buddhist teachings and to study Buddhist sutras.

"Of course I've heard about him. What about him? What did you hear about him?"

Kyle pretended to be mysterious and whispered, "I heard that he came to Lolan yesterday!"
