Wooden Board     Time Until Finished   00:00:00

Wooden board is completed. Please specify the location to appear.

I made the board to appear inside the cave and adjust it to lean against the doorway. It’s a bit hard to use but I’ll have to make do for now. I’ll make something better next time when I have the chance.

Adjusting the board and gathering the firewood made me hungry. I still have some banana, but I’ve started to grow tired of eating it. I started contemplating what I can do for dinner as I bit into the banana.

I want to eat rice for the first time in a while.

I’m not usually picky about food, but as I thought, I’m Japanese after all. (TN: Not craving for rice is not un-Japanese, Shirou. Not craving for rice is un-Asian. Haiyaa)

By using the keyword search, I found that I could properly make rice.

Compared to bread, creating rice takes a lot more of MP consumption and production time, but I want to eat rice balls made with freshly cooked rice. Since I already had natural salt made from seawater, I decided to have rice balls as dinner tonight.

Let’s take a rest until my MP is full and then set the magic to create rice.

I decided to go to the beach for resting, and maybe doing some exploration while I’m there.

I once heard that various things usually get washed up on the shore. Maybe I can find something useful. With that in mind, I walked the sandy beach from end to end.

I didn’t find any useful flotsam, but I did find some seaweed that looked like kelp. I’m not sure if it really kelp or not but it sure looked like one, so for the time being I just pulled it up and dried it on a branch.

I tried to take a little bite into it, but it doesn’t seem to be poisonous. Maybe I can create some soup stock with it later if it seems to be edible enough after being dried.

While feeling the sea wind blowing, the reality of me being all alone in this island hits me.

♢——————————————————————————————————————–

Three days had passed since Chris has left the island. During that time, I’ve made a lot of things: mirrors, soaps, razors, fishing rods, rice x 6, bread x 3, knives, pots, vegetables, and so on.

By the way, the razor has three T-shaped blades. Thanks to that, I’ve finally managed to shave my beard clean. It had been growing out so much before that it was uncomfortable.

I thought that using soap in the stream would pollute the water, but the slimes soon came and absorbed the soap ingredients. They must have ingested my bodily waste products as well.

Just like what Chris had said, slimes are indeed a beneficial monster.

Also, what I found on the beach the other day was kelp indeed. It was really satisfying to be able to create a soup stock on the pot; I now frequently made soup by adding fish and shellfish together with green onions.

And my status has changed into this:

Did you notice?

That’s right. Golem Production was finally unlocked, it was finally possible to create golems after my creation magic reached Lv 3.

I want to quickly make a golem today. Having a golem will somewhat relieve me from my feeling of fear and loneliness, even if it just a little. I can only make one type of golem at the moment anyway, so let’s try creating it.

####

Item production:Stone golem・Mass Production type(small)(Lv.1)

MP Consumption 108

Explanation:A humanoid stone golem. Able to receive instruction and work to some extent. Movement is slow but powerful. Can lift objects up to 500kg.

Production time:48 hours

I think having this golem will be useful for farming and road maintenance. Even if it moves slowly, it should be sturdy since it’s made of stone. It might be suitable for base defense as well. I think I can sleep well just by having it to keep watch at the entrance of the cave like a bodyguard.

During the 48 hours of golem production process, I won’t be able to use magic at all, but I really look forward to it.

———————————————————————————————————————————–

Almost two days had passed.

Soon it will be the time when the long-awaited Stone Golem will be completed.

Maybe it’s because I was in a restless mood, but I couldn’t catch any fish no matter how many times I throw the hook.

Every time, I always I found myself ends up staring at the time counter in the status window.

Stone Golem     Time Until Finished   00:28:12

It will be completed soon.

I gave up on fishing and start preparing to go back to the cave. Fishing won’t go well on a day like this.

It has now become my habit to collect firewood along the way whenever I return to the cave.

After I placed the firewood in its place and lie down on the bed, I started wondering, has Chris reached Bawanda Castle safely? Well, with how strong she is, I’m sure she’ll be fine. As long as there was no hindrance, like me.

…that’s right, we had been sleeping together in this bed. Now that I’m alone this bed feels awfully wide.

When I think about it now, it seems like a dream that the two of us were innocently enjoying ourselves here…

Stone Golem is completed. Please specify the location to appear.

Uwah!

I was so immersed in erotic memories that the announcement of stone golem production completion surprised me.

If I make it appear here, the golem may not be able to go outside, so I quickly went out and make the stone golem appear there!

The golem that appeared had a round body. Its height is about 170 cm tall, a little taller than me, but the parts such as the torso, arms, and legs were much thicker than my waist. The ratio of the lower body to the upper body is 1:1, and only the head is a little small. It doesn’t have fingers on its hands, but it has four movable parts that allow it to hold tools. It’s like doll made from stone.

I think it’s better to give this guy a name.

It’s made from stone, so maybe I can call it Oiwa-san? No, it’s the name of a female ghost from folklore, and it looks manly, so it won’t be a fitting name. (TN: Iwa means stone)

I think it’s better to call it Iwao.

“Can you understand my voice?”

Iwao bends over and nodded a slightly.

“Alright, from now on your name is Iwao. Got it?”

This time it replied by raising its right hand. Somehow it looked like it’s happy. Well, that made me happy too.

“Alright Iwao, let’s go for a walk at the beach. Follow me”

When I started walking, Iwao followed from behind. His walking speed isn’t slow, but he didn’t seem to be able to run.

We passed through the forest and reached the coast. Iwao immediately showed his ability by moving a fallen tree to one side. I pointed to the white sand beach.

“Take a look, this is the crescent coast. Remember it well”

I named the place where Chris and I landed the Crescent Moon Coast. It’s because the white sandy beach was long and curved. Iwao looked around the place as if trying to familiarize itself with the terrain. I did the same and looked around also.

I think I’ve gotten used to the scenery from here, little by little, it has become my living area. Although it’s a completely different landscape from the Waseda area where I lived just a week ago…

Suddenly, I my eyes caught on a foreign object over the horizon.

As I look over the ocean’s horizon… I spotted something like a ship.

No, that’s really a ship, no doubt about it.

After observing it for a while, the size of the ship became bigger and bigger. Maybe it’s heading toward this island?

If the people onboard were decent people, then I would welcome them with open arms, but if it’s the type like the female soldiers from before, then I don’t want to be seen by them.

For the time being, let’s put out the bonfire so there won’t be any smoke to attract their attention, then I’ll hide in the shadows to observe the situation.

“Iwao, quickly head back to the cave”

I didn’t notice it when we first came here, but Iwao’s movements is actually slow. No matter how fast it tried to move, its max speed is only about 7 kilometers per hour.
