In the medieval and gloomy mansion sitting at the edge of the ashen mountain, there was a spacious dining hall. It was lit up by chandeliers that were hanging from the ceiling like the moon in the sky that could be seen through the open window.

Right beneath them was a fancy dining table with a drawing of sky beasts and dragons dancing around one another, their lengthy bodies stretching from one of its ends to the other, exuding an eye-catching charm.

Several people were sitting around it.

On the walls on each side of it, there were various paintings, but the one that caught everyone's eyes was the portrait fixed on the wall just behind Damien.

It depicted the mansion's owner dressed in black and sitting in a rose garden with many petals dancing around him and a hint of moonlight touching his youthful face, adding immense grace to his visage.

The eyes of Sandra and the others didn't remain on it for too long.

The real deal was sitting right in front of them. He was far better looking than the painting. It was better to look at him.

'Just looking at his face makes me burn with jealousy.'

Delilah was a face-con. This was her well-kept secret.

However eye-catching Damien was, he was totally out of her strike zone.

After all, which woman would like a man more beautiful and charming than her?

'I pity the woman who would stand next to him in the future. After all, even if she used makeup and magic to make herself look pretty, he would just overshadow her just by existing.'

Roy was definitely in her strike zone.

He was handsome, talented, rich, and well-muscled.

Most importantly, his sword was large and thick, making her believe that he would excel in bed.

'Alas, he is already a married man, and he is married to such a beautiful woman. Although I am reluctant, I can only let him go. I don't want to be a wench that ruins the life of a married couple.'

Although it was a pity, Delilah poured cold water on her raging desire to wrap him around her fingers.

'I am not even as good-looking as a man.' Amelia's thoughts were slightly similar to hers, but due to her inferiority complex, she thought that she pales in comparison to him. 'Would I even be able to capture master's heart now that he has a kingdom-toppling beauty by his side?'

Her thoughts were so cute that if Roy knew, he would have definitely laughed.

The Female Siren's gaze was elsewhere.

"I heard from father that unlike my race, who survive and thrive on mana and the world's energy, most beings need food to sustain themselves and remain alive. While beasts hunt down anything that can move and eat it raw, humans have integrated the act of eating into their life, not as a means of survival, but as a source of enjoyment. He told me that they had transformed it into something wonderful that I would definitely enjoy." She blinked her eyes at the food on the table. They were so many dishes on the table, and they looked so tasty that she didn't know which one to go for first. "So, is this the final product of their efforts?"

She had also heard from Yulran that humans were so good at cooking that even celestials would break their vow of abstinence at the sight of their dishes.

Heck, Yulran's wife has won his heart through his stomach. She was a great cook. He wouldn't have settled for anything less.

She didn't take his words seriously at first, thinking that nothing good could possibly come out of cutting creatures of flesh and blood and heating them.

But now that various dishes were in front of her, she forgot all about refraining from food and wanted to do nothing but stuff herself with a bite of each of them.

"Yes, it is," Roy replied to her. "Why? You don't like it?"

At his words, the Female Siren shook her head.

"It's not that." She fidgeted with her long, slender fingers that were red at the tip.

Roy maintained eye contact with her and smiled as he grabbed her hands, "Then what is it?"

They were shorter than his, and they fit perfectly in his one hand.

She felt the warmth of his hand scalding her, and she pulled her hands out of his grasp in a hurry.

'He only placed his hand on mine. Why am I blushing?'

She brought her pretty face close to him and whispered to him, "It's embarrassing, but I don't know how to eat food. Do you somehow force the entire dish through the lips and put it in the mouth, or is there some trick to eating it?"

They were so close that Roy could smell her breath.

It was warm and sweet, almost enticing him to chase it to the source and put his tongue inside her mouth.

Her breaths were fanning not only his face but also the fire of lust in his heart, intoxicating him.

He gulped.

'Does she not realize how tempting she is to a man?'

He could feel her breath brushing against his skin.

His face remained the same, but his ears turned red as she breathed into him without realizing that this was the same as tempting him into doing her.

Her big and pretty deer-like eyes, which seemed to be carved out of a heavenly gem, were staring at him in earnest. It seemed like she was really serious about it.

Roy didn't make fun of her for not knowing how to eat human food. Instead, he just asked her a simple question in a gentle voice. "You haven't been taught table manners, right?"

"Umm, no." She replied to him in a simple way.

She didn't have inherited memories about it, and her stepfather had only ever talked to her about this and that dish but never taught her how to eat it.

"I will teach you." Roy smiled at her gently.

I thought for some hours and decided to do my best to write chapters to reintroduce the main characters. Except for Arlo, all of them will be mentioned in three chapters so they won't be forgotten.
