Rise of the Crusader

211 Good And Bad News

After moving through almost every corner of the mansion, Aiden, Devon, and Bane arrived at the training room.

"What the hell!" Bane exclaimed a second after he walked into the room.

While the academy had presented Raphael with comfort like no other, they also used the training room to illustrate their expectation of him.

The room was not only huge but it was also loaded to the brim with training equipment. And it wasn't the regular training equipment, instead, this were advanced equipment.

A gravity gear was here, agility gears, reflexes gear, and somehow the academy was able to get Raphael, a speed force machine.

"I'm going to be through up anytime from now." Said Bane, as he stared at the various equipment in front of him.

"Look at this," Aiden said, pointing his hand at the note that was on the wall.

Soon, Bane and Devon moved their gaze to where Aiden was pointing at, and as they laid eyes on the note, the expression on their faces changed.

"Come on, this is unfair," Bane complained.

"There is also going to be a punishment if we fail to complete the task."

As Aiden's voice sounded, Bane slowly sat on the ground. He placed his hand on his head, as within the blink of an eye, the place he once assumed was paradise was in fact hell.

Apparently, the training room wasn't just for Raphael, it was also to be used by the other students who would be in the house with him.

"A minimum of sixty hours a week, what are these people thinking!" Bane lamented.

Despite it being written in front of him, Bane still found it absurd that the academy instilled this sort of in the mansion.

And to make it all worse, failure to meet up with the required hours of training without reasoning would be ordered to leave the hours.

This was including Raphael.

"Shit!" Bane blurted.

Bane wasn't the only one upset by the rules of the training room, Aiden was also a little upset. He found the sixty hours a week excessive, considering they had other activities.

There were quests around the city that each student depending on their category had to tend to.

Devon, who was a nominal student, placed his hand on his forehead, there were beads of sweat on his face, as not only did he have to deal with the quests, but there was also training that needed to be done.

"We have to ask Raphael," Devon said, turning towards Aiden and Bane.

"Ask Raphael what?" He had only just spoken when a figure appeared at the entrance of the door.

As the three of them heard Raphael's voice, they slowly glanced at one another before then moving their gaze to him.

Considering the relationship they had developed with Raphael a few months ago, Devon, Aiden, and Bane wasn't supposed to act this way around him.

But, they were something different about Raphael, it gave them a distant feeling from Raphael, and caused them to not know how to act around him.

"The…" Aiden stuttered.

He wanted to speak, but the look as well as the demeanor of Raphael around him prevented the words from coming out as a whole.

"Quit, staring at me that way… You, say it." Aiden mumbled.

As for Raphael, he stood at the entrance with his hand behind his back. Raphael was oblivious to the fact that the stronger he became, the more his aura grew.

The aura was overbearing and possessed a superiority complex that it made those who stood around him feel insignificant about themselves

"What the hell, I will say it!" Bane exclaimed.

He stood from the ground, "Raphael, before the holiday break, you promise to be done with our systems by the time we return here."

"So, what about it? Are you done creating it or what?"

After Bane spoke, there was no response from Raphael. He stared at the three of them with a poker expression, but after a few seconds, his lips curved inwardly.

And he said…

"You need not act this way around me. The system is something you paid for, you should feel free to state your needs about it." Said Raphael.

"Stop shying around or being afraid. This is your life and your moments, so, I say, you should always feel free to express yourselves."

Even though Raphael didn't have the intention to bring a smile to Aiden, Bane, and Devon's faces, the words that he spoke to them somehow made a smile appear on them.

Bane nodded his head, and after a few seconds, he spoke.

"Yes, you're absolutely right, Raphael, and for this, don't you think, it's high time I get that sex robot I'm always asking from you."

Bane then winked an eye at Raphael after he spoke.

To Devon, and Aiden's surprise, the expression on Raphael's face softened. He chuckled before then shaking his head repeatedly at Bane.

"Well, if you offer the right amount and benefit, I just might," Raphael replied.

It was merely a few words, but it was probably the best thing Bane heard this whole month. He stared at Raphael with a teary eye and said.

"Thank you, brother. And once I have the amounts ready, it shouldn't just be any robot. I want a four-breasted robot."

Bane allowed his imagination to get the best of him, he stood with a smile on his face, imagining all sorts of scenarios that he was clueless about Raphael, and the others leaving the room.

It took a few minutes, and after Bane regained composure, he stared at the surrounding, seemingly dumbfounded.

"Hey!!!!" Bane yelled.

He hurried out of the training room quickly, and as soon as he saw Raphael, Aiden, and Devon, he spoke.

"Hold up… Where are you going to?"

Devon paused, turned towards Bane, and said, "Raphael said he has already created the systems, so we are going to the lab to install them."

Though Devon was trying to act neutral about it, Bane could sense the excitement in his voice.

It was then the same for Aiden.

A smile soon appeared on Bane's face, and without delay, he dashed toward Raphael, Devon, and Aiden.

"Hahaha!!!!"
