The wizard's suggestive speech made Kaizen and the Bleeding Lily raise their eyebrows in surprise.

Neither of them thought about the possibility that the explosion was a distraction, but upon further analysis after the sorcerer spoke, it made a bit of sense, considering also that the explosion didn't even cause mass destruction, it only created an atmosphere that required time and patience to deal with, both for the players who were already in the area, and also for the players who would be attracted by the sound of the explosion.

The person behind a plan like this was experienced, especially about the impulsive behavior of most players.

"We must return to the library immediately." Bleeding Lily ordered. At the same time, she transfigured her large bow into a red-bladed sword and sheathed it.

"You go ahead. I'll try to get something from this man," Kaizen replied.

"What are you talking about? He's completely unconscious."

"I have my methods for dealing with that. Now go and meet your friends. I promise I'll be right behind." Kaizen winked with his right eye and smiled briefly without showing his teeth.

The red-haired woman stared at him with great temerity, but she knew she couldn't command a wild wolf like Kaizen in such a short time, so she hurried off back to the City Library.

"Now, let's get down to business." Kaizen muttered and began to slowly put the wizard down. "This guy is so weak, apparently he's just a henchman.... I wonder what you are hiding? Why did you try so hard to distract us?"

The Psyker removed his larger canteen from his inventory, pulled out the stopper with his tooth, and barehandedly began pouring all of his water into the fallen witch's face.

The water began to enter the mouth and nostrils of the man, who instinctively woke up so as not to drown. "Cof, cof! What the... shit!"

Kaizen threw his canteen on the ground and caught the witch by the collar of his shirt once again. With his characteristic vile smile on his face, he said:

"You will tell me everything I want to know. And if you insist on trying to resist, calling this god that hardly anyone knows, you will feel what real terror is."

At the same time, Bloody Lily was running as fast as she could in the direction of the City Library, using a consumable speed buff item to make herself even faster.

Her legs had a naturally beautiful and harmonious movement, as if she were an Olympic track and field athlete, which was impressive considering that each plate of her armor was much heavier than ordinary armor. In addition, her breath was also unbelievable. She didn't have to stop even once to rest, even though she had covered hundreds of meters of streets.

When she finally arrived in the vicinity of the City Library, it was impossible for her not to notice a tower of black smoke and the sound of screams of terror.

'Fire?!'

Bleeding Lily clicked her tongue and she was ready to increase her pace even more, however, suddenly cracks appeared further down the street she was on.

'Ha! This has got to be a joke.' She could almost laugh when she saw Hive Centipedes coming out of the ground.

These creatures were no match for the Bloody Lily using a bow, let alone her using her sword. However, the Mutant-Ranked Hive Centipedes were not alone.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake with a much stronger intensity than at the beginning of the horde, becoming louder and more intense at a terrifying speed. Soon, Bleeding Lily realized that the earthquake had irregular vibrations right below her feet. At that moment, she looked down and saw the ground beneath her collapsing.

The redhead managed to react in time to use her sword to block the double attack of two giant pincers and used the kinetic force of this defense to launch herself backwards.

When she landed a few meters back, her entire body was shadowed by a colossal insect over twenty meters tall. This monster had hundreds of large, strong legs, two pairs of pincers, an impenetrable golden armor, and teeth so sharp they resembled spear points. Facing this creature was probably the same as facing an entire army.

The Bloody Lily was stunned by the size of the creature, but she soon regained her composure and spun her sword in her hand to attack.

"I don't know what you are, but I'm going to rip your legs off one by one until you die!" Bleeding Lily shouted. "You can come up!"

On most days, she wasn't foolish enough to think she could take on this monster on her own, but on this day she knew she would only be able to reach her guild members if she defeated this colossal centipede.

The sword in her hand was made of magical rube steel, but her armor was made of titanium, a much stronger material, but also much heavier. She knew she couldn't use her armor to fight such a large creature, because her greatest asset would be her speed, so before the colossal centipede attacked her, she unequipped her armor, leaving her body exposed, especially in the bust and back area.

As she did so, the legs of the colossal centipede moved, and soon the centipede plunged toward the redhead, demolishing dozens of buildings in one motion.

The Bloody Lily was very fast and agile, but what made her different from other swordsmen was the fact that she also had a great sense of perception and precision. She could easily see each of the creature's movements, and although she was not able to block every attack, she could dodge them with ease.

Since the Bleeding Lily wasn't wearing her armor, she could move much more freely now, so dodging the creature's dive was no problem. She then leaped into the air and spun her sword, producing a shrill sound as the sword scraped against the creature's armor.
