While Will was sneaking behind the demon army, sniping the demons, starting from the weakest among them, the girls were also doing their own thing.

Ember was standing atop the tallest mountain to the north, the one that Goddess Blanc had just randomly created to divert the demon army away from her area.

"There's still some of them daring enough to try and climb this precipice..."

The face of the mountain facing the demon army was practically vertical, with nowhere to grab onto. Still, some of the god-level demons could sink their claws or feet into the surface of the mountain and scale it slowly.

Ember looked down at them and noticed that the ones climbing the mountain were several stages stronger compared to those that detoured without a second thought.

"How should I handle this?"

Ember tilted her head, frowning hard, as she tried to figure out what to do with them.

Their plan only required them to "clear out the distracting god-level demons," after all, with the method left to their own discretion.

After thinking for over a minute, Ember finally decided on a method.

"Let's just destroy them all at once!"

Without delay, Ember activated her domain.

Her domain, like when she used it to help Will before, was simply a space surrounding her, covered with Void Energy. Thanks to the property of Void Energy of literally bringing the user's thoughts to reality, Ember could even use them in this creative way.

"All molecules within my range, apart from those within ten meters of me... stop."

In an instant, the entire field, roughly a kilometer in diameter with Ember at the center, turned into a gigantic ball of ice. Everything within range froze completely!

"This should be enough."

Ember mused as she teleported to the top of the newly created gigantic ball of ice. As she reached the top, she then looked toward the horizon, where a lot more demons were gathered.

Without hesitation, Ember teleported a kilometer forward, dragging her entire domain with her, before doing the exact opposite this time.

"All molecules within my range, apart from those within 50 meters of me, vibrate and move as fast as possible."

In an instant, every single molecule in the air, may it be oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, or nitrogen, even the small particles of dust composed of random metals, started to move around at high speeds.

The energy they used up, as they bumped the nearest molecules to them, turned into heat and turned the entire space within her domain into a literal "small sun."

"..."

Ember closed and opened her hand, feeling that this one consumed more energy compared to stopping the molecules' movements.

"Does this have anything to do with what Master said--the laws of thermodynamics?"

Ember wasn't entirely sure either, as she hadn't studied the subject in depth yet.

After that, she teleported to a height where she could observe the aftermath of her tests. One gigantic ball of ice that quickly started to crack after it left Ember's control and one miniature sun that is gradually cooling down.

Both are on the extreme ends of the temperature scale.

"There's still a lot of them remaining..."

After seeing the swarming demons, Ember didn't hesitate any longer and quickly modified her domain. Instead of spreading it radially, covering a spherical zone, she modified it to only cover about five meters high, but instead spread about 5 kilometers to either side and extended 10 kilometers forward.

"This application should have a skill name..."

Ember muttered to herself as she quickly froze the entire field, creating a rectangular block of ice.

"How about... [Infernal Hell Field] and [Absolute Zero Field]?"

Ember wasn't that confident in her naming sense, but she still felt that the names she decided on were pretty suitable.

Ember turned off her domain and started to head back to the top of the tallest mountain. Although she cleared tens of thousands of demons in one go, there's still a lot more that has yet to come within range.

Her job was just starting!

---

To the northeast, Fang was staring at the gigantic ice ball that popped into existence out of nowhere.

"Ember's going hard with testing her new powers, huh?"

Fang muttered as she stood atop the outermost wall, a hand in her pocket as her other hand was playing with her red dagger.

"That thing must've taken out hundreds, if not thousands, of demons. I shouldn't dally either."

Fang turned to face forward, where a horde of demons was being held back by an alliance of monsters and tamers. Various attacks were flying, but the demons were tough enough to be able to tank a few hits before dying.

The main reason why Fang didn't move as soon as she arrived was exactly this!

"I wouldn't want to get hit by friendly fire while going around, after all."

Furthermore, various domains were already activated, from ones that span hundreds of meters to those that reach up to a few kilometers. Due to this, Fang was forced to stay passive for a while.

But now, she's done with detecting every single demon within her sensing range—approximately 100 kilometers before her.

"I'll start..."

Fang muttered before her figure vanished, sinking into the shadows with a plop.

Like Ember, Fang also had a lot of skills she gained after reaching the 9th stage. However, she didn't have enough time to test them all, as she could only practice her domain while they were inside the time-accelerated training room.

So for now, she planned to use the god-level demons as practice targets instead.

Fang's figure appeared exactly a hundred kilometers away, which was right in the middle of the enemy.

Everywhere she looked, demons blocked her vision. If she randomly swung her dagger, she would definitely hit one or two of them effortlessly. It was that crowded.

"... But this is a little too much. And you guys... stink!"

Fang waved the dagger in her hand once, a faint thread of shadow energy extending from its edge to the tip. As the dagger waved around, the string went taut, extending forward as if increasing the dagger's range. In a single second, Fang managed to spin over ten times.

"[Shadow Thread Manipulation]!"

After declaring the name of the skill, she quickly retracted the thread before sheathing the dagger. As if time had stopped, everything around Fang came to a stop.

*Thud!*

Finally, one after another, the demons around her fell to the ground. Their bodies were sliced into eleven sections.

Fang didn't even check the ones she killed and instead pinched her nose.

"As expected, this place stinks!"

She complained as she walked over the corpses, heading deeper into the enemy lines.
