The next day, “Operation Red Owl” started filming again in full swing.

However, even though Chu Yinlong was quite prestigious amongst crew members, after the scandal the night before yesterday, the atmosphere was a little subtle. Some young staff with little knowledge, in particular, looked at Jiang Dao with undisguised contempt in their eyes.

Jiang Dao didn’t care much about this, but Chu Yinlong’s face sank.

However, they just had bad eyes, and didn’t sneer or ostracize him. Their work was still orderly and timely, and he couldn’t blame them.

Today, the first scene they filmed is the scene of Jess and Xu Zhou fighting, chasing, and fleeing in the base of the criminal organization. In addition to Jiang Dao and Jing Yu, there is also a substitute similar in size to Jing Yu.

Chu Yinlong has high requirements for his action scenes, and many scenes require actual fighting. Coupled with the use of terrain and props, the actors must have a certain ability to fight – it’s impossible to fake hits in many scenes, so they can only try to restrain their strength and avoid the key areas during the shooting process.

Therefore, even though Jing Yu had studied sanda for a period of time before joining the group, most of the close combat scenes could only be shot by the substitute. For the convenience of editing, Jiang Dao and the substitute will complete the filming first, and then the scene is filled in with close-up shots of Jing Yu.

Chu Yinlong personally instructed them on the movements several times, and both of them learned very quickly.

This is a short and fast pursuit and close combat scene. Neither of them have weapons in their hands yet, so the scene is relatively safer and simpler.

At the beginning of the scene, Jess, played by Jiang Dao, rushed towards Xu Zhou, who was running away. Startled, Xu Zhou turned around to resist, twisting his waist and lifting his leg and kicked Jess’s neck. After escaping, Jess continued to pursue him. After catching up again, Xu Zhou dodges an attack and gets close, followed by a series of quick punches.

Filming started off smoothly, however, in the final fight, Jiang Dao realized that something was wrong.

The force that the substitute exerted was much heavier than he expected. In order to avoid a direct injury, he could only choose to unload the force to the side and dodge.

“Stop.”

Sure enough, Chu Yinlong, who was strict with action scenes, called out immediately.

Surprisingly, instead of reprimanding him, he glanced at the two of them and said lightly, “Again.”

Seeing that Chu Yinlong’s face was not good, Jing Yu, who was watching the set next to him, was a little nervous.

He knew that Chu Yinlong disliked actors who were squeamish on set. He even heard that in one of his previous films, the actor playing an important supporting role was severely reprimanded when he wanted to take leave to go to the hospital because of a bruised arm.

Jiang Dao was dodging when he was filming just now – he shouldn’t have poked Chu Yinlong’s sore spot?

In the venue, the staff reset the props and filming resumed.

This time Jiang Dao was mentally prepared. He firmly caught the substitute’s fists and kicks, controlled his numb arm, and completed the next series of actions perfectly.

Who knows, when the scene was about to end, the substitute suddenly stumbled back two steps.

“Sorry!” He admitted his mistake without hesitation, “My fault!”

Chu Yinlong’s face was even more ugly.

“What’s the matter? You’re also an old hand, yet you can’t even act? Why are you moving so much? The actor filming with you is not your enemy! It’s enough to feel the blow, and hold back your strength!” His tone gradually became colder. “Again!”

The substitute nodded with a smile: “Ah, yes, okay!”

However, during the third shooting, the force he used was still very heavy. In the end, he seemed distracted and didn’t catch Jiang Dao’s fist, resulting in his movements being off, and another NG.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” He apologized generously. “I was wrong, I’ll do it right next time!”

Chu Yinlong suddenly got up from behind the camera, walked towards a spot that wouldn’t block the camera or lights, and looked at the two in the field: “Again.”

Jiang Dao raised his hand and rubbed his arm, shook his numb wrist, and hooked the corner of his mouth towards the substitute.

He wasn’t sure before, but after the two NGs just now, he immediately came to a conclusion in his heart – this substitute’s actions were deliberate. Using excessive force and deliberately making mistakes… The purpose should be to face more bitterness when filming.

As for the other party’s motive for doing this, Jiang Dao had some guesses, but no evidence yet.

However, he is not a little sheep to be bullied.

Since the other party dared to do this so blatantly, he should be ready for retaliation.. At worst, he’ll be scolded by Chu Yinlong, which is nothing.

Waiting for the field staff to reset the props again, Jiang Dao walked onto the set, tilted his head, and showed a sweet smile to the substitute: “Come again.”

The substitute let out a light hum from his nose.

Filming resumed again. The chase and escape in the first half were still very smooth. A few seconds later, the two entered into the fight again. The substitute raised his leg and kicked Jiang Dao.

The expression on Jiang Dao’s face remained the same, but his steps quietly turned an angle, ready to meet the impact and counter the opponent.

Pa-bang!

The substitute kicked out, but the next second, he was knocked to the ground by a huge force, and his whole person was stunned.

Chu Yinlong stood in front of Jiang Dao, retracted his hand, and rubbed his palm lightly.

He was condescending and his eyes were cold: “Xiao Yang, take this man out and find another martial artist to replace him. This scene will be shot tomorrow.”

After he finished speaking, Chu Yinlong turned to look at Jiang Dao.

Jiang Dao was embarrassed: “Ah, that… I’m sorry just now…”

He was too prepared to fight back just now and didn’t expect Chu Yinlong to suddenly rush out to block the knife, so he kicked Chu Yinlong’s ass. If it wasn’t for Chu Yinlong’s stability, he would be lying on the ground on the spot, and lost all face.

Who knows, but Chu Yinlong’s face is not only not angry. There was even some… peace of mind?

“What did I do? What have I done!” At this moment, the substitute got up from the ground and tried to quibble. “I’m just not used to filming and NG-ed a few times. It’ll be fine next time—”

Chu Yinlong sneered. He was too lazy to pay attention to him, and gave one more sentence to his assistant: “Hurry up and deal with it.”

“Chu Yinlong, you can’t rely on your fame to be so domineering!” The substitute shook off the assistant’s hand, and shouted. Folding his arms, he stood there, refusing to leave.

Chu Yinlong glanced at him with an indifferent expression: “Do you want me to invite you in person?”

Hearing this, the substitute was obviously a little shy, but his face was still full of unwillingness.

“Mr. Chu,” Jiang Dao suddenly whispered, “Wait, Let me ask him a few words.”

“Huh?” Chu Yinlong looked back at him.

Before Jiang Dao, he inadvertently rubbed his arm and asked with a smile, “What’s the reason for you targeting me like this?”

A bruise will soon appear.

However, the risk of this action scene is clearly the lowest. As long as the actors control their strength, let alone redness and bruises, none of it will hurt too much.

Seeing this situation, Chu Yinlong’s expression changed before the substitute could reply. He stretched out his hand and pulled Jiang Dao back to his side, half-protecting him in his arms, turning his head and shouting, “Medical staff!”

It took the medical crew two seconds to react, before hurrying forward with the medicine box to check Jiang Dao’s arm.

“There’s no need for such a big fuss…” Jiang Dao felt helpless.

Chu Yinlong: “Shut up. Your injury is serious, why didn’t you tell me on the spot?”

Although he could also observe that the substitute used more strength than required, he wasn’t involved and couldn’t feel exactly how much the strength was. Jiang Dao didn’t even cry out in pain, which caused him to make a mistake in judgment. In order to confirm whether the substitute was really acting as a demon, he repeated the scene many times.

Jiang Dao didn’t care about the bruise. “How can this be considered serious…”

Seeing that Chu Yinlong’s darkening face, he quickly changed the subject: “Don’t worry about this for now, I want to ask about his intentions.”

Turning his head towards the substitute, he raised his eyebrows: “Why don’t you like me? Are you jealous of how beautiful I am? Are you jealous that I can show my face in the movie? Or is it because of the revelation on Weibo the day before yesterday? Do you think a vase is not suitable for this movie? “

“I didn’t!” He refused with a black face.

“You didn’t – I don’t believe it.” Jiang Dao pouted and shook his head, “This scene, even if Teacher Chu came to fight in person, it’s impossible for me to be, uh, injured.” Although this injury is nothing for him.

The substitute snorted coldly and stopped talking.

“Hey, tell me.” Jiang Dao continued. “You tell me why you are dissatisfied, so I can change it, so as not to be tricked by others when shooting dangerous scenes in the future. Maybe I’ll be seriously injured at that time…”

Hearing these words, Chu Yinlong’s brows furrowed tightly.

For a moment, he looked at the substitute, his eyes cold: “You have a chance to explain, why did you deliberately hit so hard? To be honest, it’s fine if you don’t say it; just wait for the lawyer’s letter.

The other party’s face changed a few times. In the end, he glared at Jiang Dao with gritted teeth and snorted: “I just can’t stand people who rely on their face! And… I hate people who destroy other people’s families. A mistress’ son isn’t a good thing!”

Jiang Dao was speechless in shock at this divine logic.

Chu Yinlong was also speechless for a while, and finally waved to the assistant: “Take him away.”

Due to this incident, filming was temporarily interrupted.

The assistant director began to urgently contact the actors who were originally scheduled for tomorrow, and the props and scene managers also began to prepare the scenes needed for the next scene.

Chu Yinlong stared at the doctors and nurses applying medicine for Jiang Dao. Seeing that Jiang Dao’s arm really started to turn blue, his brows wrinkled even deeper: “Sorry, I should have stopped him earlier.”

“When Xiao Yang comes back, I will let him take you to the hospital.” After speaking, he sighed.

Jiang Dao laughed: “It’s just a little swollen, and I’ve already taken medicine. What’s the need of going to the hospital?”

Chu Yinlong was worried: “Get an x-ray to see if any bones are hurt.”

“Don’t worry, my bones are fine.” Jiang Dao replied firmly.

If the force used by the other party could hurt his bones, he wouldn’t have played with him for so long. How could he still think about completing the scene and let the other party repeatedly hit him so many times?

Besides… a bone injury is much more painful than this. He has rich experience and will never make a mistake in judgment.
