The day has finally arrived, it’s the first day of school at the Sacred Machine Academy.

Yes, it’s a minefield where the probable Ruin Flags, or rather, Death Flags, are buried in huge quantities.

After all, my position is probably as the Villainess. It’s just a guess, isn’t it? I was only playing the Bonus Game, and this is probably a world that’s as close to the game’s setting. In short, I don’t even know where I, Lillie Rivale, stand in my own game.

… If I knew this was going to happen, I would have played the main story even if I wasn’t interested in it.

“Lady Lillie, is something wrong?” Karin asked.

“Don’t worry about it,” I said. “I’m just thinking about the difficulties waiting for me in my future school life, see? Just trivial things like that.”

Since this was a school setting, the main plot of the game should probably start from here… and, probably based on my intuition, I’ve found the person who seems to be the Main Character of this game.

Originally, Sacred Machines are only supposed to be piloted by royalty, aristocrats, and knights.

This is because they are very expensive pieces of equipment.

Unless there’s some special circumstance, commoners cannot have them. This school will be teaching Sacred Machine Pilots the basics of using them.

Yes, it’s as you think: almost all of the students in this school are children of aristocrats, though there are differences in rank. The exceptions would be the members of the royal family or those from knight’s families, or–

“Speaking of that, Lady Lillie,” Karin interrupted, “there’s a rumor going around that a commoner has enrolled here.”

“Yes, that’s right…” I said. “They also have a special talent, I heard.”

Yes, they’re completely out of the norm… if the Main Character didn’t have that as a major plot element, the developers had gone insane.

… No, it seems to be an Otome Game aimed at a male audience, so it’s possible they’re someone else–

“And more than that, they seem to be a woman–” Karin continued.

Yes, that can’t be anything but the Main Character…!!!

… Isn’t it better if I don’t get involved with them? Isn’t my role to prevent the protagonist from trying to flirt with the Capture Targets?

… Alright, so I’ll be fine if I don’t get involved! There’s no doubt!!

“Could it be that person?” Krain said as she points.

I look, and an up-and-coming sort is looking around. The location of the school was near the Noble District so that the aristocratic parents could easily come over… or so I think, I don’t know this area.

Well, I don’t want to get involved, and other people will surely teach her.

“My, my, what’s a redneck like you doing around the upper class?” some other noble daughter asks.

… I’m not sure, but I think that’s supposed to be my line.

“… Umm, I’m supposed to be enrolling in this school–” the Main Character said.

“Gahaha, heeheehee… HAA-HAHAHAHAA!!”

… Wait, doesn’t it mean trouble if you get that sort of three-stage evil laugh considering the context so far?

Although I want to escape from that role, I’m still probably the Villainess. Don’t the characters on the cover get more intense focus?

Isn’t a game that only shows the Villainess and the Capture Targets too unbalanced?

“Are you saying that an ordinary commoner like you can enter this school?” a second noble daughter asked.

“Weeeellll, if you’ve got a miraculous talent, shouldn’t you be able to pilot a Sacred Machine?” the Main Character said.

“However, it’s disrespectful for the poor to harbor such fantasies…!” a third goes.

What the, this… see, um, it’s the typical Shitty Aristocrat… or rather, several of them.

“… Moving on, there’s no way for a girl like you, who’s only just a commoner, to be in the Sacred Machine Academy,” the first noble daughter says. “They’re only meant to be piloted by the chosen people.”

“My, oh my, that makes me laugh,” I said.

“Who are you?!” one of them snaps.

… Hey, if I just stare at this scene and leave them alone, I can’t face the super robot pilots who I idolize.

“Oh, my, don’t you know who I am?” I asked. “Iiif you get my drii-iift?” I hummed.

Yeah, this is the full-of-myself act that I put up for the simulator.

“Huh?! Just who are you…?!”

Hehehe, they seem to have finally realized… but, it’s too late!

“I am Lillie Rivale… the next head of House Rivale and the Duchy… it wouldn’t take much of my Father’s power to crush you… don’t you think so?” I said. “But, I’m feeling kind.”

Yeaaahh, Power! It’s the best!!

“Prove that, uh, prove that your words are correct,” I said. “Prove that she’s not fit to be a Sacred Machine Pilot.”

She’s the Main Character, she can do something about it.

Yes, and… as I’ve already said this much, it’s natural for me to help. And if these ladies think they can just do what they want, I’m sure I’d get involved anyway.

“Why do we aristocrats have to fight commoners, when they should be fighting other commoners–?” one of the group started.

“If a commoner like her loses to you, your words are correct, and she’s not fit for this Academy,” I said. “So, if you all lose, all of you may drop out, yes? Even if you don’t want to, you’ll be compelled to.”

In the first place, it’s a laughable idea for a weak person to spend a lot of money, plus the blood, sweat, and tears of the technicians, and then get to pilot a robot. If they couldn’t win giving it their all, if someone could break their machines without trying though they were considered weak, such a defeat is out of the question for them.

“Wha-, I, I’m going to retract my words–” one of the noble daughters started.

“Retract your words?” I asked. “Stop joking around, aristocrats must take responsibility. Our greatness is from our reliability.”

Yeeesss, hence–

“A nobleman withdrawing their words before their tongues have even dried… there is no way someone like you is an aristocrat!” I cried.

“… Ah?!”

“So choose quickly…” I said. “Will you fight her and prove your talent? Or will you stop being an aristocrat and live the rest of your life as a joke?”

Hmm, this is pretty extreme… but, you also have to take responsibility for what you say.

“N-No, I’ll prove it to you!!” the noble daughter said.

“Alright, then… well, I’ll tell you the location later, about a month, considering we’ll have to prepare a battleground.”

Yes, yes, I feel good after doing a good deed–

“Lady Lillie,” Karin said, “um, that girl is–”

“My, how is she…” I started.

Sh-She’s terrified! She’s terrified like a Chihuahua tossed out on a rainy day…!!
