Apocalypse Cheater

77 Disruption in a Date Part 2

As the leader of the menacing group exclaimed, "Prepare to die!" and lunged at Daniel without hesitation.

The atmosphere grew tense with impending violence.

The spectators watched in shock and disbelief as the situation escalated rapidly.

The menacing group's demeanour sent chills down the spines of the onlookers.

Their boldness in the face of potential murder made it clear that they either had no fear of the consequences or were protected by a formidable organization.

The crowd of bystanders felt a growing sense of unease as the situation continued to escalate.

Some pulled out their smartphones, ready to document what might become a violent confrontation, while others anxiously debated whether to call the authorities.

The tension in the air was palpable, and the scene was rapidly spiralling into chaos.

As the Leader charged forward with deadly intent, his followers prepared to back him up.

One of them, an archer, notched an arrow coated in a deadly poison.

To the bystanders and even to his own men, it appeared that they were moving swiftly and decisively.

However, from Daniel's perspective, their movements were akin to a snail's pace.

Their actions seemed excruciatingly slow, as if time itself had stretched to a crawl.

He watched their every move with ease, the world around him almost frozen in time.

In the blink of an eye, he sidestepped the arrow's attack, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

The crowd gasped in astonishment as they witnessed his extraordinary speed and reflexes, but to Daniel, it was just another day in Modern Fantasia.

With their attempt to harm Cecilia and the memories of his past failures flashing before him.

Daniel's usually calm violet eyes turned into a fiery crimson.

His anger burned within him like an uncontrollable blaze.

He will no longer held back.

It was time to show them the true extent of his power, a power they couldn't even fathom.

The flames of rage within him would fuel his actions, and he was determined to give them a taste of the most excruciating pain they could imagine.

In a matter of seconds, he channelled his skill, Monarch Bloodlust, a power that instilled fear without causing them to lose consciousness.

It was time to kill these troublemakers a lesson they'd never forget.

"Why do you all insist on barking every time before attacking?"

Daniel's voice dripped with an eerie confidence.

At the same time, in a breathtaking display of his bloodlust, dark crimson tendrils of aura emanated from his eyes, spreading like wildfire throughout the city.

Each tendril carried the weight of his overwhelming presence, causing even the bravest bystanders to shiver in fear.

The hoodlums who had dared to challenge him now felt the icy grip of terror wrapping around their hearts.

They were no longer in control, and the fear they'd tried to impose on others had come back to haunt them a hundred times fold.

*Boom*

The hoodlums were suddenly brought to their knees, their bodies weighted down by an invisible force.

"Guh! W- What's happening? Why do I feel like I'm being crushed?"

One of them stammered, struggling to lift their heavy limbs.

Panic swept through their ranks as each man grappled with the intense pressure that seemed to be crushing their very soul.

They weren't alone in their distress, even the bystanders nearby were caught in the grip of this overwhelming force.

Daniel's Monarch Bloodlust had taken hold, instilling terror and paralysis in those who had dared to challenge him.

The tables had turned, and the once-confident hoodlums now found themselves at the mercy of a power they couldn't comprehend.

The city's residents felt an inexplicable disturbance in their hearts, a collective unease that rippled through the streets.

Thankfully, Daniel had enough control to spare the innocent bystanders from his overwhelming power.

If he hadn't, the entire population within the city, regardless of age, might have been brought to their knees.

The pressure proved too much for some of the hoodlums, causing them to cough up blood.

It was a harrowing sight as the very ground beneath them showed signs of cracking under the intense force of Daniel's Monarch Bloodlust.

The once-confident criminals were now reduced to helpless victims, their arrogance shattered by the power they had underestimated.

Under the influence of Daniel's Monarch Bloodlust, their bodies were subjected to a crushing force akin to the weight of mountains.

The gravity bore down on their bones, shattering some of them, and sending waves of excruciating pain coursing through their nerves.

As if that wasn't enough, they soon heard the ominous sound of footsteps approaching.

Their gazes met Daniel's face, and terror gripped them with icy fingers.

His expression was no longer the young man they had underestimated.

Instead, they saw a fearsome, wrathful figure who had the power to crush them without breaking a sweat.

The shadowy figure that loomed over them was like a nightmare-given form.

With bloodshot crimson eyes that seemed to pierce into their very souls.

Fear and despair clung to them like a shroud as they felt the suffocating weight of Daniel's bloodlust.

His words, spoken with an eerie calmness, sent shivers down their spines.

"For almost causing harm to my wife," he said, his voice low and chilling, "don't you all think death is what all of you deserve?"

Inadvertently, he had claimed Cecilia as his wife, and the darkness in his tone made it clear that he was ready to deliver their punishment.

While Daniel was immersed in his overpowering emotions, Cecilia's internal panic was escalating.

"N-No, forgive me! I-I didn't mean to do that!"

The men, on the other hand, were in utter disbelief and regret, realizing they had underestimated the situation.

'Who is this monster!? We weren't told anything like this! Ah fuck! I shouldn't have accepted the request from the young master'

The Leader mentally cursed their decision to accept the request from their young master without proper information.

The atmosphere was tense, and the consequences of their actions were about to unfold as Daniel loomed over them with his intimidating presence.

Facing Daniel's overwhelming presence and power, the leader's regret deepened.

He understood that putting their lives on the line to confront this seemingly unstoppable force wasn't worth the risk.

Fear gripped his heart as he pondered the consequences of their reckless actions.

Their pleas for mercy fell on deaf ears as Daniel, fueled by his anger and desire to protect his loved ones, showed no mercy.

His eyes, still glowing with a dark crimson aura, bore into them as he prepared to deliver the punishment they deserved.

Without uttering a word, he used his power to increase the gravity around the men, pressing them harder into the ground.

Bones continued to snap, and their agonizing screams filled the air.

The pressure was unbearable, and it felt as if the very earth itself was conspiring against them.

Cecilia, witnessing this display of power, couldn't help but feel both affection and awe.

For some reason, seeing such sight of him overwhelming 20 men was somehow exhilarating for her.

Daniel's footsteps echoed ominously as he approached the leader of the group.

His eyes, now a chilling shade of crimson, bore into the terrified man, and his smile sent shivers down their spines.

The leader's pleas for mercy only seemed to amuse Daniel further.

He grabbed the man's hair and forced him to meet his gaze, making the leader tremble with fear.

"Didn't mean to do that?"

"You're telling me you accidentally threw a car towards us?"

"Are you joking or what, because that isn't funny to me,"

Daniel mocked, his voice dripping with a fit of cold, calculated anger that made it clear he wasn't in the mood for excuses.

"But do you know what's funny?"

Daniel continued, his voice low and menacing, cutting through the leader's pleas like a knife through butter.

The trembling leader could only manage a weak nod, his tears mixing with the dirt on his face.

Daniel leaned in closer, his crimson eyes inches away from the leader's terrified gaze.

The man could feel his heart pounding in his chest, and his breaths came in shallow, panicked gasps.

"It's funny how you thought you could harm her,"

Daniel whispered, his voice icy and dangerous.

"It's funny how you thought you could threaten us"

"And it's especially funny how you thought you could escape without facing the consequences."

The leader's eyes widened in terror, realizing the gravity of his situation.

He was at the mercy of a merciless force, and there was no escape from the impending reckoning.

"P-Please, sir! I r-really didn't want to hurt you!

That's right! I was forced to do it because the heir ordered me to! Please, sir, let me live. If that is too much to ask for, t-then, you can take away these men's lives, and let me live alone!"

The leader's desperate pleas filled the air, his words quivering with fear and hope for mercy.

He offered up his comrades like lambs to the slaughter, willing to betray them to save his own skin.

Daniel's crimson eyes bore into the leader's soul, his expression unforgiving.

After a tense silence, he spoke, his voice cold and unyielding.

"You claim you were forced, but your actions have consequences"

"You chose to follow through with this plan, and now you will face the price for your choices."

With a swift motion, he released the leader's hair, causing the man to fall back to the ground.

Daniel turned to the trembling lackeys, his eyes holding a chilling expression.
