Arrogant Meets Passionate

The two families are familiar to each other. And now there is another tier of children’s relationship, so there is no formal courtesy. And the atmosphere at the dinner table quickly livened up.

    She nodded.

    He poured her the drink. She wanted to ask for help when she took the cup and said she couldn’t eat anymore, but before she could say anything, his phone rang.

    Qin Yufei’s nerves jumped with sensitivity and she hurriedly took a sip of her drink to suppress it. Gu Yingjie took out his cell phone and picked up. And once he opened his mouth, he said, “Sorry, I forgot to reply to you.” Don’t know what was said on the other end of the phone, Gu Yingjie said to everyone in the room, “Excuse me, I’m going out to answer the phone.” Then he got up, touching Qin Yufei’s ear to appease her before walking out while saying, “Okay, it’s fine, go ahead.”

Qin Yufei was in his arms and listened. Gu Yingjie kissed her on the cheek, light up the phone screen for her to see. The name on it is “Sam”, and the voice is a male. “Childish and mushy.” Qin Yufei frowned, but the corners of her mouth just couldn’t help but turn upward.

“Childish and mushy is right. That is falling in love.” Gu Yingjie shoved his phone to her. “It’s your turn.”

Qin Yufei bit her lips, pulling out his phone contact book, and complained: “Such a disgusting name, how shameful to be seen by others.”

    “I don’t mind.”

    “Hey.” Gu Yingjie protested.

    Qin Yufei wrote the name down and handed the phone back to him. Gu Yingjie looked at it and was satisfied. He put it back in his pocket. Raising his eyes again, he saw her cheeks pink, her eyes bright as stars, brilliant and shy, which really made his heart flutter.

He took her in his arms. “And then, there’s going to be a day when we’ll get rid of that word ‘future’.”

“What will it take for you to know that you’ve reached that point?” She genuinely wanted to ask.

Gu Yingjie thought about it, “Probably when it feels about right, very stable.”

“Call it, Ah Jie is only two words.”

“ Ah Jie.” she called out softly, and then his lips covered hers.

    Qin Yufei’s heart beat wildly. Thought those two words sounded so good. She stood on her tiptoes and met his kiss.
