Since the day I cried in my mother’s arms, my family has not gone out beyond necessity from the forest house.

It was because of Ricarda’s opinion that I could be lonely.

There were also mistakes by Lennox and Ricarda that they wouldn’t normally do, and mother rushed out unexpectedly.

As if it was trying to force me into the flow of this story.

But before I could even think about it, one of the two reached me.

The man who caught me threw me back without giving me time to struggle.

I forced myself down to the floor and fell with a thud.

“Ah!”

When I let out a painful groan after I fell and hit my back, the person who seemed to be a man grabbed my neck and lifted me.

When I was lifted with the weight on my back, the clothes tightened my throat, and I began to choke.

“Who are you? Where’s the Guild Master (1) ?”

“Ugh!”

Of course, I had no intention to answer, but this man seems to have forgotten that he was holding my neck.

I exhaled roughly as if I were forced to squeeze out my narrow breathing hole.

The less I answered, the more nervously the man looked back.

The smaller figure next to the man stood quietly staring at us.

At first glance, he looked like a tall boy.  However, I couldn’t see well because it was dark, and most of all, I couldn’t afford to look at him because the front became blurry.

“Damn it! First I’ll start by killing you!”

The man who lifted me started to hurry up as if he was scared of something and pulled something out of his arms.

What he took out sparkled in the light of the lamp on the ceiling of the Oval Office.

I could know what it was, even when my vision was blurred.

It must be a sharp weapon like a knife.

“Let-.”

I wanted to scream, ‘Let go of me, let go right away,’ but my voice didn’t come out. I was suffocating while my vision was getting blurred, and I felt like I was going out of breath…

Once again, I began to stop thinking about death as soon as it came to me.

As I began to lose consciousness and my front faded away, a small figure in the distance could be seen slowly moving away.

The man who grabbed me loosened his grip on me as if he were relieved.

I shook and struggled as much as I could, thinking it was my last chance in the faint burst of a breath.

“What, you, you little girl!”

The man panicked and dropped his weapon as if he had never thought I would rebel.

Rough breath came out of the air, which was rapidly climbing in my neck.

I shouted desperately as the man reached out his hand, trying to get me again in a hurry.

“Mom! Lennox! Ricarda!!!”

I screamed so desperately that I’ve never raised my voice this high in my life.

“Save me!!!”

The embarrassed man lifted me up again as I kept calling my mom and brothers with a rough cough.

As he tried to tighten my neck with his hands as if he would kill me by strangling in a hurry, the door of the office suddenly opened roughly.

The first one to come in was Ricarda, followed by Lennox.

Perhaps because I was strangled, I kept coughing.

Two people were seen flinching at the clinking sound.

Embarrassed at the sight of the two, the man held back the weapon he had dropped with his arms wrapped around my neck and backed away.

“Stay away, don’t come near me!”

“What the hell are you doing?”

Unlike usual, Ricarda and Lennox’s eyes were fierce. As if he never expected those fierce eyes on their faces, the man seemed to shrink.

But soon he pulled me further and warned them.

“I told you not to come near.”

‘Is the guy like him the male protagonist? A jerk like him…?

By the time I had a suspicious thought, the Magic circle had begun to unfold from Ricarda’s hand.

The splendid spread of the Magic circle turned to the man who was holding me, and his hands and feet were tied to a chain that suddenly leaped out of the air.

“Wha- what’s this?!”

Lennox, who popped out the moment I fell to the ground after being released from the man’s arm, safely accepted me.

“Phew.”

At the same time as he exhaled a sigh of relief, a small figure who had only been standing awkwardly in the middle suddenly moved his body.

Unlike those who were bound to me, he rushed to Ricarda without hesitation, lightly floating his small body into the air.

Unaware of his presence, startled Ricarda displayed reflexive magic.

In the end, the little boy was equally bound by chains that popped out of the air.

“Heuk- what is it? I didn’t even know it was there.”

“Are you all right, Daphne?”

While Ricarda calmed down his startled chest, Lennox looked at my condition with an expression of concern.

The moment Lennox’s gaze reached my neck, his expression hardened as before.

Ricarda approached us with a sigh as he looked at the two who were tied up.

“It’s dangerous!”

And at that moment, the little boy broke the chains that entangled him.

It happened so quickly.

He stepped on the broken chain and started to rush to us.

When he thought my cries were a step late, he passed us and jumped lightly and cut off the neck of his captive companion at once.

The man who had threatened me until a while ago died so easily.

Blood scattered on the floor, and the man’s life disappeared so easily.

It was a moment you couldn’t even scream at the scene, slowly passing like slow motion.

After killing his colleague, he turned around without hesitation, rushing to us without even stopping to wipe the scattered blood.

And then, suddenly, the white smoke that appeared in the air tied his neck, arms and legs to the ceiling.

“Do you dare know where this place is, for assassins like you to come in at your will!?”

“Mother!”

Lennox and Ricarda were all in a daze when mom yelled.

Mom also arrived, and seeing everyone together, I should have been relieved, but strangely my body trembled.

It was my second time to see the dead body, but not knowing that the moment of death would be this cruel, my body stiffened.

Lennox, who noticed that, took care of me and turned my head.

Only then did the bodies disappear from my sight, and everyone was seen safe.

My trembling body calmed down a little.

It was not until I confirmed that everyone was safe and that I was safe that a sigh of relief came out.

I slowly raised my head and looked up at the man tied to the ceiling.

The face of a bright child was revealed in the hood that was stripped by smoke.

The child was closing his eyes, and his black hair stood out against his pale face.

I lowered my gaze slowly.

I could see round eyes with slightly raised ends. Perhaps because of my gaze, the child slowly opened his eyes.

His stern face, without a single expression, and his eyes really drew the attention.

I encountered beautiful purple eyes like Violaceae (2). 

The area where the whites were supposed to be was all black, and his pupil like a reptile shone quaintly.

His appearance looked like a boy, but as if something had been added to him, there was a truly inhuman atmosphere.

As soon as I saw those eyes, I could tell,

That guy is the male protagonist of the second part.
