Chapter 10: Kindergarten

Li Bei recalled the scene just now. He had beaten up the doctor and nurses again, and Li Feng!

He couldn’t control himself when he was like that, and he hated himself when he was like that.

Looking at the well-bandaged wound on his body, Li Bei touched his hair and thought of the woman who smelled so good. She had touched him so gently. She was different from the doctors he had met in the past, very different.

Li Bei’s aura now had a maturity that ordinary people could not understand. He was only five years old, but there were so many dark things in his eyes.

Le Yu went to bed very late last night, but she got up very early in the morning. After watching the two babies finish their breakfast, she picked up her car keys. “My babies, are you ready to go to kindergarten?”

Le Lin and Le Ning were dressed in the uniform of the kindergarten today. The Imperial Group was the most famous kindergarten in Sea City. Its entry requirements were very high, and naturally, it was better than other colleges in many aspects.

Little Princess Ning Ning looked up with her little face and nodded her little head. “Ning Ning is ready.”

“I’m ready too,” Le Lin said.

Le Yu smiled and kissed each of them. “Let’s go, then.”

She drove the two babies to school. Looking at the various luxury cars lining up, she could tell that the Imperial Group was indeed very high-class.

Ting Yu was Le Yu’s personal assistant. She was supposed to be the one who took the children to and from school. She said, “President Le, I can actually send them off. Don’t you have an important meeting this morning?”

Le Yu fixed the bow on Le Ning’s collar and said slowly, “It’s fine. Today is the babies’ first day of school. How can I be absent?”

Ting Yu nodded and said with a smile, “Miss is so good to the children.”

“I might not be able to come in the afternoon. Help me pick them up.”

“Yes,” Ting Yu replied.

The convoy in front of the Imperial Group was not slow. Le Yu rolled down the window to see the situation in front. She looked up and saw Li Feng and Li Bei in the car next door.

Li Feng did not seem to see them, but Li Bei turned his head and looked at Le Yu with an indifferent expression.

Le Lin looked at Li Bei’s little face, which was so similar to his own, and was a little surprised. His mother was also surprised. This must be his brother!

Le Ning also saw it. She watched as her mother quickly closed the window and asked slowly, “That brother looks so similar to my brother! Is he Ning Ning’s brother too?”

Her words were like a tongue twister, and Le Lin understood her. She pulled her little hand and said with a heavy tone, “It’s enough that we know about this. You have to keep it a secret from outsiders, understand?”

“Why?”

Le Lin glanced at Le Yu, who was frowning, and said softly, “Mommy and Daddy are still in a cold war. We have to protect Mommy first.”

Le Ning didn’t quite understand what he meant, but when she heard that she had to protect her mommy, she nodded heavily. “Ning Ning must protect Mommy well!” She clenched her little fists as if she was making an important vow.

Le Yu and Ting Yu were amused by the two little guys, and a doting smile hung on their lips. A child’s world was simple, innocent, pure, and lovely, which could melt people’s hearts.

Some of the worries in Le Yu’s heart were washed away. She did not expect Li Bei to be in this kindergarten. He looked much better than the day before, so he must have had a good night’s sleep.

She didn’t know if Li Bei had seen Le Lin’s face clearly, but if he told Li Feng about this, it would be bad.

Although Le Yu wasn’t afraid of going against Li Feng, she didn’t want to complicate things and make things too complicated. She also needed to consider the Li family’s strength and background.

After successfully sending the two children in, Le Yu looked at the class allocation table in her hand and heaved a sigh of relief. Fortunately, they were not assigned to the same class. If Li Feng had seen Le Lin’s face directly, they would have been exposed.

Ting Yu stood beside Le Yu. Seeing her somewhat distressed expression, she suggested, “President Le, why don’t we help the Young Miss and Young Master transfer schools? It’s too risky.”

Le Yu pondered for a while and shook her head. “Not for now. Let’s wait and see.”

A familiar voice suddenly came from behind her. “Why are you here, you b*tch? When did someone like you step over the Imperial Group’s threshold?”

Le Yu frowned slightly and looked at the woman who spoke with a sharp voice and whose face was full of resentment.
