Chapter 32: Love Rival?

Jin Cheng and Le Yu had been friends for many years, and Jin Cheng’s understanding of Le Yu was far deeper than Le Yu’s understanding of him. Le Yu’s long thought process just now had allowed Jin Cheng to read something.

He chuckled and said, “That’s good. Where should I shower? I want to take a shower. I’m covered in sweat!”

Le Yu pointed to the bathroom for him without even turning her head.

Jin Cheng’s heart was tickled by her lazy look. Her slightly curly and soft long hair fell casually on her neck. Her white skin was like moonlight, and she exuded a natural and gentle beauty.

“Still not going?” asked Le Yu.

Jin Cheng leaned over and inched closer. “It’s been a long time since we last met. You’re getting more and more…” Before he could finish his sentence, Le Yu slapped his face and pushed it back.

“Stay away from me. It’s so stinky,” Le Yu said in disdain.

Jin Cheng smiled and stood up. “I was going to praise you for becoming more and more beautiful. You’re so heartless.”

“I know that without your praise,” Le Yu retorted. The two of them seemed to be bickering, and the ambiguous atmosphere was instantly washed away.

Le Yu swiped her phone casually, but her attention was not on it. No one knew what she was thinking.

When Butler Li received Li Feng’s call, Jin Cheng had already been in the apartment for an afternoon. Li Feng, who was sitting in a wheelchair, listened to his report and his expression didn’t look good. “Why didn’t you stop him?”

“Miss Kyra said that it’s her friend, so don’t worry.”

Li Feng frowned. “She has such a wide circle of friends. The eldest son of the Jin family is actually her good friend? Do you believe that?” he asked.

“Keep an eye on her. I’ll be right there.”

Butler Li looked at the phone that his Master had hung up on and swallowed his dry throat. His Master’s ability to give out cold air was getting better and better. He was almost frozen to death through the phone.

Dinner was ready. Li Bei sat opposite Jin Cheng, staring at him. Jin Cheng returned the gaze.

Le Yu glanced at the battle between the two and asked Jin Cheng helplessly, “Are you a little kid too?”

Jin Cheng looked at her. “You’re a little too double-standard.” He didn’t really have a problem with Li Bei. It was just that this child kept looking at him as if he was a thief, and he was a little unhappy, so he wanted to tease him.

The doorbell rang. Ting Yu went to open the door and saw Li Feng in a black suit and coat. She was stunned. “Commander!”

Li Bei’s eyes brightened, and he turned to look at the door.

Everyone also looked at the door in unison. When Li Feng was invited in by Ting Yu, Le Yu observed his face. He was a little pale, and his lips were bloodless.

The atmosphere became a little strange. “Am I disturbing your meal?” she asked.

When Li Feng stepped into the room, Le Lin dashed into the room at a high speed.

Li Bei had already walked over and held his hand, even taking the initiative to call Li Feng “Daddy.” Li Feng was surprised by his intimate action, smiled, and slowly asked, “What’s going on?”

Jin Cheng smiled faintly and said, “Commander, did you just come down from the memorial? Have you eaten? Sit down and have some?”

Li Feng glanced at Le Yu and suppressed the discomfort in his heart. “Why is Major General Jin here? I’ve never heard Kyra mention you as a friend.”

Who knew how upset he was when he walked in and saw Kyra, Jin Cheng, and the two other kids sitting together ‘happily’?

Li Bei pulled Li Feng over. Le Yu looked at him and could only say, “If you don’t mind, please sit down and have a simple meal.”

“Alright,” Li Feng chuckled and replied. He sat opposite Le Yu.

Le Ning looked back at Le Lin’s tightly shut door and thought of leaving a few chicken wings for her brother before she began to eat in silence. The way Daddy looked at Uncle Jin just now was so fierce! “The world of adults is really strange,” Ning Ning muttered to herself, her mouth full of food.

“How did Major General Jin and Kyra meet?” Li Feng asked in a calm tone.

Le Yu picked up some food for Le Ning and said with a smile, “Commander, you don’t look too good. Did your trip not go smoothly?”

Li Feng’s gaze returned to Le Yu. He nodded and said slowly, “Yeah, you almost never saw me again.”

“You really know how to joke,” Le Yu joked.

Li Feng smiled and retracted his gaze from her fingers. He had actually subconsciously observed her hands just now. He had really been possessed by that Ghost.

“How has Li Bei been these few days? Can he come home today?” Li Feng asked.
