Chapter 31.2

She tried not to close her eyes as much as possible. She was curious to see Yuri’s vulnerable face. This was not the same as when she opened her legs to him out of sexual desire for him. Unlike when she swayed her hips just for pleasure, this time, Sei gently held Yuri’s face.

Yuri moved inside her quickly, pressing his lips against her palm. Before she could settle her frantic breathing, he pulled out and flipped her over, making her lean her body against the window. He then leaned toward the window and plunged deep inside her.

A pained sound erupted from her mouth at the deep penetration. Pleasure gradually increased and a dull pain spread across her body. Where her cheeks were squeezed against the glass, foggy vapor gathered on the windows.

Sensing his climax, he took his hand from the wall and covered her pubic area.

“Rub it. Hard,” he whispered.

His voice was dangerous yet husky.  As if under a spell, Sei pushed her palm over his hand and began rubbing her clit hard.

They were completely focused on one other. Given how they were again naturally having sex, Sei was still curious about her relationship with him, but she chose not to probe deep. Her legs began to quiver, accompanied by a throbbing sensation. Surprised by the liquid that gushed out of her vagina, Yuri leaned down and grasped her breasts.

With the hand that had been cupping his face, she pulled his neck down.

When she saw him reach his climax, she suddenly thought he was a man with a terribly sexy expression.

* * *

“You look like you have a lot of questions. Why don’t you ask? ‘How have you been? Did you eat? Didn’t you miss me, or you look a little thin. I hope you’re all right.’ Things like that.”

As soon as she bit into the spicy and hot goulash, she burned the roof of her mouth and felt a little dizzy.

While she covered her mouth with a flushed face, Yuri pushed the wine in front of her and chuckled, rubbing the edge of his mouth.

“Sorry, I don’t have that many questions. How… have you been?”

It was a very straightforward question.  It had only been a few days since they last met.

Actually, the only question she had for him was why did he do that that day?

“When I look at you like this, you seem so mean. You look innocent when kissing and seem to enjoy sex quite a bit, but other than that I don’t know what you’re thinking about with that pretty face.”

Sei swept her wet hair and set her spoon down. She was furious about the fact that she had to give up this great food when she was in the middle of eating it, but as he said, it was time to talk.

When she peered into this man’s blue eyes, she felt a tingling sensation across her entire body. It was similar to the sensation she had while having sex with him.

“Actually… I’m scared.”

“Of me?”

“Well, I am scared of you, too. I feel like I’m being dragged into an unwanted world.”

Yuri got up, went to the bar across and returned with a bottle of whiskey. Then he poured it into the glass and smiled again.

“Keep going.”

“So I want to draw a line. When I opened my eyes, I was in the hospital, and I had run away from Giulio Parenti. But it’s not that I don’t like Guilio. I ran away because he was a mafia member. That implies I can run away from you, too.”

“Hmm… That’s not a very good idea.”

“If I hadn’t come to see Lily again this time, you would have killed her.”

“I can’t say that’s not true. I’ve heard of Lily White’s gold bars through Pablo. Well, I’m guessing it was a trap as well.”

Yuri tapped the table with his hands softly, staring at Sei, who had turned as pale as a ghost. She was far kinder than was necessary. Was she reckless, kind, or full of justice?

He chose to abstain from passing judgment on her strong sense of justice. One needs to have a little bit of blemish to mask the filth within.

As he silently smiled, she gazed at him and scooped up a spoonful of cooled goulash with a dazed expression.

“Sei.”

Sei did nothing but nod and chew her food. She looked like a grumpy hamster when her cheeks were this full.

Yuri poked her in the side of the cheek. She almost spit out the meal and smacked his hand with a furious face.

“Can’t you see that I’m eating?!”

“Why did you cram the gift I gave you into your bag?”

The gift was a set of rubies he gave her before going to Nice.

Sei gulped down what she was eating and shook her head.

“It stands out too much. And it’s for surveillance, not some fancy accessory.”

“Is that all?”

“Also… our relationship is too ambiguous. That’s all I could do. I came here to save my friend and I didn’t know I’d meet you here. Well, I was swept away by the mood earlier…”

She gulped down the whole bottle of wine, feeling thirsty.

“Why is our relationship so ambiguous?”

Sei snickered at the sight of Yuri tilting his head while staring at her.

What can I do if you cast an ‘I don’t know anything’ expression so innocently?

“Don’t you think we’re too incompatible to be sexual partners?”

“Were we like that?”

“Weren’t we?”

“Oh, my… I’m deeply hurt.”

Frowning, he touched his forehead and turned away from her like a heartbroken man. Sei was unable to ask anything and simply blinked her eyes. She then extended her leg and tapped Yuri’s foot. Only then did he move his pupils and he opened his mouth in an unfamiliar tone.

“I’m a man of integrity, so I don’t have sex with anyone. And when the hell did I scare you? This is so…”

Then what was it that you thrust into the back of my head if not for a gun? Mafia, why are you pretending to be nice?!

With her mouth wide open, she swallowed uneasily and replied, suppressing the rising tension.

“It’s not just that… So if I break up with another man, it just means the end of the relationship. But I’m afraid if I ask you to break up, you’ll come after me to kill me… Well, that’s it. Do you think I’d put my life in danger to be with you?”

Yuri gently closed his eyes at Sei’s words and nodded his head softly with an expression of understanding. But then the words that came out of his mouth were enough to startle her.

“Then if it’s okay, you can go out with me now. Because I like you. We can make a contract if you want. If you feel threatened and want to break up with me, I will never put a knife or gun to your neck. Of course, I won’t commit a murder or something and disguise it as an accident. So, how about it? Does this make our relationship a bit clearer?”
