Chapter 337 – Florida Man, Armed to the Teeth, Raids Animal Shelter to Pet a Rescued Cat.

After Mu-Nyang had been reincarnated, Leo secretly protected Overlord Xiaomao and Mu-Nyang from wandering creatures and Milo's troops.

The overlord discovered a new meaning of life and raised Mu-Nyang as his son. Meanwhile, Mu-Nyang got to enjoy a fresh new life without realizing that his dantian universe contained two of his former comrades and a couple prisoners there.

Leo nodded. He glanced at Xiaomao's status and saw the latter's lifespan – It showed as 2,000 years, but he actually had two years to live.

"Do you need any help?" Asked Leo.

"Haha. Then, please protect my child Mu-Nyang. He's too innocent for our universe. I wish he could grow up and live a happy life, away from the politics and harsh environment."

"That's natural."

Xiaomao bitterly smiled and let out a long sigh. He bowed again, "Then, I'll be leaving. I can't leave the child for too long. He might wander off and accidentally stumble upon a roaming space creature or a vile werewolf."

"Hold on," Leo called Xiaomao to stop. He ejected a moon-sized entity fate crystal and gave it to Xiaomao, "Bring this home with you. Cut a piece of it and give the smaller piece to your child. As for the rest, put it in your soul before you enter the karma river."

Xiaomao hated fate crystals. He was reluctant to accept.

However, Leo read Xiaomao's thoughts and advised him, "It's not for you. It's for the child. If the child has a piece of it while you have the larger piece, you two will eventually reunite because the fate crystal naturally seeks each other, especially its fragments."

"Is there such a benefit? I thought it only granted the owner a useless system."

"Useless or not, it's not up to me or you to judge. You must experience it and judge it yourself."

Although unwilling, Xiaomao accepted the parting gift. He gave Leo a meaningful look. At first, Xiaomao wished to quietly leave and forget everything behind him. However, he suddenly remembered the face of the most beautiful person he had encountered in the past.

Leo grinned. "Ask away."

"Is your daughter married?"

Leo paused, and his eyebrows twitched, "Why do you ask?"

"Hahaha! Nothing much. As a dying old man, I just wish to complete my bucket list. I was wondering if I still had a chance in the next life."

As a father, Leo was protective over his children, especially his daughters. When an old man suddenly asked him if his daughters were married, a father like Leo could easily go berserk.

Still, Leo doubted Xiaomao had an ulterior motive. He invited Cat to the hotel so that they could meet.

30 minutes later, Cat arrived.

This year, Cat already reached the adulthood of 18 years old. Her appearance remained the same as eight years ago, except for her hip and chest size. In addition, she started putting on makeup whenever she was outside.

"Any nom-nom, dad?" Cat ran toward Leo and hugged his arm.

Leo sighed, "I'll feed you later. Anyway, can you chat with this gentleman for a few minutes?"

Cat turned to Xiaomao who awkwardly laughed.

"H-Hello, miss."

"Who are you again, meow?" Cat didn't remember Xiaomao.

"Haha. It's okay. I just want to ask you a few questions if you don't mind."

"…Okay?"

"Are you seeing someone right now?"

Leo had goosebumps. Witnessing a dying old man courting his daughter was not a pleasant experience. If Leo never peeked into Xiaomao's future and discovered his important roles, he would have exploded the dude long ago.

Cat tilted her head as she was inexperienced in this matter. She then pointed at Leo.

"Yes. I'm seeing my dad right now, meow."

"W-What?!" Both Xiaomao and Leo were stunned.

Cat laughed and hugged Leo's waist. She then teased her father like she used to.

"I'm my father's girl! He's mine, meow!"

Xiaomao dropped his jaw while Leo repeatedly shook his head, denying the silly allegation. Seeing the man's reaction, Xiaomao chuckled.

"I understand, Lord Florida Man. You don't have to explain."

"…Seriously, this is a misunderstanding!"

"It's okay. This happened all the time. She was your creation, so it's natural for her to be attached to her creator. It's very understandable."

"…I said, this is a misunderstanding!"

Xiaomao burst into laughter. He saluted to both of them.

"I'm satisfied. Well, if fate allows it, let's chat again. I hope that I can be your customer in the next life."

Leo sighed and returned the salute, "I'll be waiting."

The fisherman left and returned to his home world.

Leo opened his menu and showed them the coordinates of Xiaomao's home world. He tossed a platinum plate, which had a carving image of an AK47 on it.

"Contact my brother Ohio Man and give him the token. Ask him for a fleet. Then, take the troops to guard that planet. If Milo and their scrooges show up, kill them all."

The group smiled as they finally had a reason to head out and play in the void. The team took the token and vanished.

Cat stared at Leo and pouted. She wanted to go out and play too.

"Dad, I want to play, too. I also haven't had my nom-nom yet."

Leo deeply sighed and patted her head, "Go fetch your brother. Give him enough time to pack some food first. Then, I'll allow you to go out."

"YAY!"

Cat dashed out of the hotel to fetch Aslan, who always secluded himself in the time chamber.

Aslan had been doing well. The guy ended up marrying Sierra and returned Simba's son to the parents. Moreover, he already had five kids.

Leo watched how Cat ran like a little kid. He stroked his chin, wondering if he should ask Esen for another child.

'Should I reincarnate mother? It's been a while. I doubt she can still remember me since she's not even a cultivator.'

The poor white cat never stopped crying. Other Cathulhus tried to console him, but Mu-Nyang rejected everybody. In the end, the poor cat continued living in Xiaomao's small shack as it was the only place he treasured.

Leo secretly opened a new store on the same planet, but he set up the general store far away from Mu-Nyang's home. As for Gao Yan and others, they kept their distance from Mu-Nyang and protected him in secret.

One day, Esen visited Leo. As she was aware of Leo's weird arrangement and his foresight abilities, she came here to ask him what he was scheming.

As soon as Esen arrived, Leo answered her before she could utter a word.

"It's for the merge."

"Merge?" Esen was confused, "Merge for what?"

Leo looked at the sky and explained, "In less than 100,000 years, Void Principality and his people will migrate to the lower world. The arrangement for the ascension is a hoax."

"Huh?" Esen didn't understand, "Explain in detail, Leo."

"Haiz. Okay." Leo paused for a long time and started narrating what he saw. "In the higher dimension, there are multiple universes, and they often crash. Void Principality's universe will collide with another universe in 150,000 years, and that guy foresees it. Because he is desperate, he dispatches Void Trees to the lower universes like us to find a suitable universe to migrate into. And he has chosen us."

Esen giggled and listened to her husband. She was curious about what kind of adventure Mu-Nyang and Meowmeow would experience.

"Say, Leo. Can I snoop into Mu-Nyang's universe and see the drama?"

Leo rolled his eyes, "I'll compile them into a movie for you later. Don't interfere with their fate."

"Aw, stinky. But say… what's going to happen when the higher dimension's people come down?"

Leo's expression changed. He shifted his attention toward the Prismatic Void Tree and grumbled.

"Same old, same old. Annoying politics, conspiracy, and arrogant egotistic mortals."

"…Can't we kill them all?"

"Another thing – Overpopulating Karma Rivers."

"…Yikes."

"Yeah, yikes. It's gonna be a mess to manage. That's why I need multiple trustworthy people in this universe to bring some of the souls into their dantian universe. We can't keep them all."

The troubling future was far ahead, but Leo was already prepared for the worst.

The news about Mu-Nyang possessing an ultimate artifact spread across the universe. New deities, sages, and entities of the younger generation heard about it and coveted the artifact. Soon, they traveled toward the old Cathulhu Galaxy in search of Mu-Nyang's whereabouts.
