Lyss had finished hanging the washed clothes without dropping any of them on the floor.

With this, we’ve finished most of the chores before noon.

Currently, Lyss is making lunch together with me.

Since Snow and Chris made breakfast, it’s our turn to make lunch.

The menu is seafood pasta, and vegetable soup.

I cut up the seafood and shrimp I bought earlier in random sizes, and then fried them with some olive-like oil. At the same time I made soup with the stock made from boiling the fish and shellfish.

Lyss stood by my side and peeled a lettuce-like vegetable with her hands.

With this situation the cliché where the clumsy girl cuts her finger with the knife won’t happen, probably.

Even if that happens, we can just treat it immediately with healing magic though.

“But still, even Lyss can do housework without a problem eh?”

The pasta should be done soon, too, so I must tend to it.

And finally the seafood and vegetable soup.

Everyone imitated me, put their hands together and prayed “rub a dub dub, thanks for the grub”, and reached for the wooden fork.

Umu, the pasta is just perfect.

“Lute-kun, this pasta is delicious.”

I broke into a grin at Lyss’ line.

Snow and the girls didn’t spat but they covered their mouth while receiving damage.

Couldn’t stand it anymore, Snow reached out to the water jug.

Chris covered her mouth with one hand and urged Snow for water with an empty cup in the other hand.

Lyss and I got poured some cold water too.

Everyone emptied their cup in one breath.

Since we drank all the water in the jug, Snow made some more with magic.

We emptied another jug.

After everyone has calmed down, we once again stared at the weapon-like soup.

“Lu, Lute-kun, what exactly, do you hate so much that made you made this salty, sea water soup?”

“I don’t particularly hate anything. That’s weird. I gave it a taste and think that it could use some salt… so I asked Lyss to throw in a pinch of sa…”

I retraced the steps taken to look for the problem, my reasoning came to a halt.

“Y, you see, I found it weird too… but Lute-san said one pound of salt… “

I said one pinch, not one pound though!?

Realizing her mistake, Lyss bowed so low that her head almost touched the table.

“I, I’m sorry! Because of my misunderstanding, not only I wasted our food but also caused trouble for everyone! I really am sorry!”

“No, it’s not your fault, Lyss. It’s my bad for not doing a final check.”

Getting absorbed into boiling the perfect pasta, I slacked on doing the final check, the fault is mine.

But Lyss’ expression was gloomy.

“I’m sorry… since my first housework was progressing smoothly, I let my guard down… to think I’m this clumsy…”

“Lyss.”

I stood next to Lyss, put my hands on hers.

“I said that it’s fine even if you make mistakes. You can improve little by little.“

“B, but even though I’m also Lute-san’s wife, I’m different from Snow-san and Chris-san, I only pull your legs…”

“It’s fine I said, even if you pull our legs. I mean, we have 4 people right? We are family so we ought to help each other out, right? That’s why it’s fine for you to make mistakes.”

“Right right, it’s just as Lute-kun said. We are husband and wives, so we gotta support each other. Next time I’ll teach you my specialty, easy to make soup.”

“Me too, since I’m not, good at cooking, yet, so let’s, learn together.”

“Snow-san, Chris-san……”

Not only me, Snow and Chris also went and stood next to Lyss.

Lyss wiped her teary eyes, her gloomy face turned into a sunny smile.

“Yes! Let us, forever and ever, live together and support each other.”

It’s not much of a first step, but like this, Lyss’ bridal training opened its curtains.

After my wives finished taking a bath together, I washed my body.

After I got out of the bath, I headed for the bedroom.
