Yun Fanfan lifted her foot and the iron chains on her feet collided making a crisp sound.

With a negotiating tone, she said to Zhong Yan, “If you’re not going to kill me, can you remove this?”

There was a smile on the corner of Zhong Yan’s mouth, “No.”

He got up and left the room.

Even though there were iron chains on her ankles, Zhong Yan still seemed uneasy. She heard the sound of the door being locked.

Her life was saved. Yun Fanfan looked at the food spilled all over the floor and sighed.

She looked around the room, and finally found a clean cloth. She picked the food and broken bowls on the ground into the cloth, wrapped them all up, and put them on the tray on the bedside table.

Yun Fanfan lay on the bed looking at the ceiling, and said to the system, [What’s your name?]

System: [I don’t have a name.]

Yun Fanfan: [I’ll give you one.]

The system was overjoyed, thinking that Yun Fanfan would give it a good name.

In the end, it heard Yun Fanfan say, [From today on, you will be called Xiao Bai Cai1.]

System: [……]

It can say it’s very disappointed.

It asked weakly, [Host, what does it mean?]

Yun Fanfan: [It doesn’t mean anything. It’s just that it’s a pity that I wasn’t able to grow vegetables in the cave.]

One system fell into a deep sorrow.

Yun Fanfan didn’t know how long she had been in this room, but it was getting dark outside. During this time, Zhong Yan had never come in, as if she had been forgotten.

Without her spells, Yun Fanfan was just an ordinary person. The bowl of rice was knocked over by Zhong Yan before, and now she was a little hungry.

She couldn’t turn her head around. She closed her eyes and asked the system, [Little Cabbage, what time is it now?]

Little Cabbage: [It’s past nine o’clock in the evening.]

Yun Fanfan thought about it for a while in before fully understanding the time in this world.

[Then it’s time to sleep.]

She has always been a person who pays great attention to work and rest.

Yun Fanfan pulled the thin quilt over her body and fell asleep.

At about 9:40PM, Zhong Yan finally came back from outside. He still had a bowl of noodles in his hand. The nearby shops were closed. He didn’t expect to only find a noodle restaurant. After he returned home, he remembered that there was another person in the house.

He had made the lunch at noon and didn’t want to cook at night.

When he pushed open the door of the room, Yun Fanfan was already sound asleep.

There was none of his imagined anxiety and sleeplessness. She slept soundly, as if she hadn’t been kidnapped, but came here as a guest, Zhong Yan put the noodles on the bedside table without waking her up. He walked over to the window and opened the curtains.

The moonlight was just right outside. The streetlights were still on, and a few moths kept dancing around the lights.

Zhong Yan lit a cigarette and held it in his mouth. After taking two puffs, he impatiently snuffed out the cigarette, then walked to Yun Fanfan’s bedside and woke her up.

Seeing her dazed look, Zhong Yan said, “Get up and eat.”

The same tone as noontime.

Although Yun Fanfan was hungry, she wouldn’t eat after going to sleep.

And now is the best time to sleep. She turned over with her back to Zhong Yan, “Don’t eat, it’s bedtime now, call me tomorrow morning.”

It’s as if she was the master.

The blue veins on Zhong Yan’s forehead were throbbing. He wanted to violently pull Yun Fanfan up from the bed but noticed the wrapped cloth on the table.
