[Rather than envying others, why don’t you work hard and earn your own wealth!]

The comments were harmonious, the small handful of weird ones had been rendered quite speechless. However, at this point, a comment suddenly caught the attention of the people:

[Suddenly discovered that Luo Qiao and Tang Moqi have not interacted for a long time… it was rumored that previously the two were best friends that made it to trending topics. Tang Moqi was not able to secure a loan of the gown and Luo Qiao did not lend it to her… Did they have a fight?]

[Freaking hell, I suddenly smell gossip!!]

[Where was Tang Moqi at the time Luo Qiao was being slandered so badly and ripped apart? She stayed far away and went into hiding, fearing any involvement. I wouldn’t want to be best friends with such a person either!]

[Really, it’s freaking enough. Tang Moqi is working hard filming on the set and even then she gets insulted. Isn’t it shameful that Luo Qiao was throwing herself at the top celebrity at the time? Are you bringing in Sister Qi just to generate traffic?]

[Luo Qiao is a pile of sh*t and whoever touches her gets bad luck. How long has it been and she still leeches on Tang Moqi. Isn’t she ‘fair, rich and pretty’? Then just f*cking stick to her ‘fair, rich and pretty’ image. Tang Moqi is a person without background and can’t match up to her!]

This passing reader’s comment was ripped to shreds by thousands of Tang Moqi’s fans and eventually deleted in fear and panic.

However, the observant people did pick up on it and that same day, the combination terms of Tang Moqi and Luo Qiao made it on the trending topic.

A marketing account posted a screenshot of a previous interaction between the two of them, thinking that under the current circumstance that they are ignoring each other, it would serve to confirm that they had fallen out.

It had been ten years since Tang Moqi launched her career in the entertainment industry. She had hit dramas and it was generally acknowledged that she had good acting skills. In terms of popularity, she had a stable following and they were fierce and strong – she was on a completely different level from people like Zhang Lingling. Hence this Weibo post was filled with comments. Her fans refused to mention Luo Qiao and instead made a show of Tang Moqi’s results. It was as though Luo Qiao didn’t exist.

Comments were a manifestation of popularity. Although as of late Luo Qiao drew a number of eyeballs, there was no way she could compete with Tang Moqi. The way Tang Moqi’s fans saw it, Luo Qiao was a has-been, there was no need to take any notice of her.

Using her lesser-known account, Luo Qiao clicked into Super Topic Tang Moqi and at once, she could see the comments left by Tang Moqi’s fans:

[Whenever I think of a particular somebody sneaking up to someone’s room in the middle of the night and getting dumped at top speed like a pile of dirt after, that makes me laugh. What’s more, it’s even funnier that the person should be Ke, hahahaha… sorry!!]

Luo Qiao read the posts in the comments zone coldly. Tang Moqi’s fans not only had an odd attitude towards her, they seemed to despise Ke Bozhou’s haughty attitude. She wondered how they would react the day they found out that their idol had in fact been long entangled with this teen idol.

Just as she thought about this, her cell phone rang. She looked at the incoming number then picked up the line.

“Miss Luo, how are you? I’m from Show Magazine. In March we made a booking with you for our cover shoot this month, I’d like to ask if you might be available any time soon?”

Show was one of the big five magazines and was highly-esteemed in the fashion world. At the time they had not only invited her to do this shoot, they had also booked Tang Moqi. It was to be a double cover for that one issue with a best friends theme.

Now seeing that the best friends relationship was about to turn into a huge battle, it was going to be a big selling point hence these people wanted to stir things up.

Luo Qiao asked, “You’re shooting just me alone?”

“We’ve already contacted Miss Tang’s manager, Tang Moqi will be there too.”

Raising an eyebrow, Luo Qiao then smiled and said, “Sure, I’ll be there for the shoot.”

On the agreed day, Show Magazine posted the announcement on its official Weibo site.

The netizens comments were triggered:

[This combination… why do we smell gunpowder smoke??]
