Demon

Yan Liang wiped his half-dried hair with a towel while opening his school bag.

The teacher had given them homework, and Yan Liang was not very tired so he wanted to write for a while before resting.

He put the towel on his head and bent down to get the books in his bag, but his eyes paused at the side net of the bag.

There was Shi An’s white water bottle stuck in there, and the thick sunset had tinted the cold white quilt a warm beige.

Shi An protected the bottle well, no paint loss, no signs of bumps, even the light gray cup string was clean.

After Shi An got off from the bus, he vomited on the side of the road. Yan Liang brought him water, and after Shi An used the bottle, Yan Liang smoothly inserted it into his bag.

Yan Liang took the water bottle out, turning around and going downstairs.

The sunset covered the stone pavement with a layer of warm color, and the whole alley looked like it was soaking in a rich orange wine, while the various signs in front of the stores were painted with cold gold.

Yan Liang walked into the dessert shop and saw Jiang Yuan sitting behind the counter. Her silvery white hair loosely pulled back and she was playing with a wooden hairpin in her hand.

Jiang Yuan smiled and greeted him.

“Did you guys go hiking today? Are you tired?” Jiang Yuan’s voice was long and soft as she slowly said, “Xiao An was so tired that he didn’t even bother to eat dinner.”

Yan Liang frowned slightly: “Why didn’t he eat again? I’ll go get him.”

Yan Liang went upstairs and knocked on Shi An’s room door.

There was no movement.

Yan Liang knocked again, no one answered the door. He reached out and twisted the door handle; the door was unlocked and opened.

“Shi An?” Yan Liang called out softly.

Vanilla shower gel and Shi An’s fresh, clean scent mixed together, softly filling the room at dusk.

Yan Liang entered the door and was slightly startled.

Shi An was lying on the bed with his calves still hanging over the end of the bed, rarely lying on his back. At first glance, he knew he had fallen asleep unintentionally.

The curtains of the room were not drawn, and the sunset leaked unceremoniously into the small room through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, almost the whole room was soaked in the thick wine-like sunset color.

Yan Liang put the water bottle gently on the desk and turned back to find something for Shi An’s feet, but after walking around the room, he couldn’t find a suitable one.

He walked to the bed and reached out to touch Shi An’s hair.

Shi An’s hair was not yet dry. Yan Liang put his fingers into his hair, and it was wet and cool.

Yan Liang hesitated to wake him up for a while, but couldn’t bear to do so, so he sighed helplessly.

The dark afterglow shone on Shi An’s slightly scattered hair, haloing it in strange and beautiful colors, a bit like a scene from a fairy tale book.

It was rare that his shirt was not buttoned up to the top, slightly loose that even his delicate collar bone could be seen.

Shi An’s clear eyebrows stretched peacefully, revealing a fragile ease. In the burgundy setting sun at dusk, it made people feel that his whole person was holy and clean.

Yan Liang didn’t dare to look at him again, but he couldn’t look away.

Yan Liang stood in a daze by the bed for a long time.

Shi An’s forehead hair naturally spread out, revealing a clean and white forehead. Yan Liang lowered his eyes for a long time before bending his body deeply like a demon and gently covered Shi An’s brow with his lips.

Yan Liang’s brain was blank. He subconsciously held his breath. His body trembled slightly because of the drastic bending down, and Shi An’s hair covered with the sunset color broke into his eyes.

Yan Liang came back to his senses and jerked straight up, unbelievable.

He reached out to cover his lips, his fingertips covered with cold sweat and his pupils shrunk a little. The other hand behind his back clenched into a fist.

What did he do?!

Yan Liang looked at Shi An’s peacefully sleeping face in a daze and slowly took a half step back.

The sky was dark, the sunset was getting thicker and thicker, and the sunset mixed with the night looked a bit chaotic.

Yan Liang stared blankly out the window, the cans on the opposite windowsill reflected the blinding light and shook his eyes.

Yan Liang turned around and carefully stretched out his fingers to cover Shi An’s brow, wiping back and forth a few times like he was wiping something dirty.

Shi An’s long eyelashes trembled, and his pretty eyebrows frowned lightly.

Yan Liang was startled and immediately pulled his hand back.

Shi An’s eyebrows were slowly relaxed again.

Yan Liang closed his eyes and slowly squatted in place; his head buried deep in the crook of his arm.

He still tainted something very pure and clean in the end.

He probably still became the child who stepped into the snow with dirty shoes.

“I’m sorry,” Yan Liang whispered, raising his head and trembling slightly, “I’m sorry…”

The whisper melted into the dusk. Shi An’s eyelashes didn’t even flutter, still sleeping soundly.

With chaos bottled up in his chest, Yan Liang lowered his head again, breathing heavily and smashing his fist hard against his head a few times.

At the end, he stood up and fled downstairs in near panic, almost forgetting to close the door of the room again.

Jiang Yuan was still sitting behind the counter, smiling lightly at him, her eyes full of clouds.

Yan Liang didn’t dare to take a closer look, so he said goodbye in a hurry and went out as quickly as possible.

The sky gradually darkened. The dark blue curtain overwhelmingly covered the sky and the remaining sunset color mixed in the coming night.

He probably stood there for a long time.

Lady slowly walked past him and came back curiously to sit beside him.

The cat’s snow-white fur was covered by the night with a cold blue tint, and the green-blue eyes were amazingly bright in the night.

Yan Liang didn’t dare to look at it, and walked back to the room with his stiff legs.

When Yan Zhao saw he was out of his mind, he asked casually, but Yan Liang didn’t answer. He quickly went upstairs and smashed himself into the soft bed.

What to do.

He buried his face so deep in the pillow that he almost lost his breath.

In a fiery evening at the end of the spring, with an unspeakable despicable mind, he imprinted a kiss on the clean brow of a clean boy.

Yan Liang clutched the sheet hard, so hard that his knuckles were trembling slightly.

“Yan Liang…” he said vaguely to himself, “…You’re really, really disgusting…”

Xie Fei had not seen such a grumpy Yan Liang for a long time.

The soft stewed tofu was not easy to pick up with chopsticks. Yan Liang tried to pick it up a few times, but the tofu slipped off the chopsticks, and with a little force, the tofu shattered.

The tofu was smashed back into the pot again, and the soup splashed on Yan Liang’s fingers.

Yan Liang frowned and put his chopsticks down, releasing a ‘pop’ sound.

Xie Fei bit the cabbage and looked up at him.

The young man’s good-looking eyebrows were tightly frowned, his eyelashes were slightly drooping, and his thick eyelashes blocked out the emotions in his eyes.

Noticing Xie Fei’s gaze, Yan Liang lifted his head and whispered, “…Sorry.”

“Puberty, I understand, it’s okay, it’s okay.” Xie Fei pretended to be considerate, and said after turning around, “… When the anger subsided, help me go to the kitchen and get the right bowls and chopsticks out again.”

“…What are you doing with the bowls again? Isn’t this enough?” Yan Liang looked at her suspiciously, “You’re washing them?”

“It’s not for me, I called Xiao An to eat.”

Yan Liang’s hand holding the bowl slowly letting it go and the bottom of the porcelain bowl knocked on the table with a slight sound.

“…What did you ask him to come for?” Yan Liang’s brows frowned more tightly as the sound of his heartbeat gradually became more intense.

He uncontrollably recalled the subtle touch of his lips on his skin and the close proximity of Shi An’s distinctive eyelashes.

“What do you mean by what? Isn’t that normal?” Xie Fei looked at him in slight surprise, “Don’t you guys still have to rest when you get back, so I asked Jiang jie to eat first. I’m home today, so I’ll cook it together for you guys later.”

“…” Yan Liang stood up with the bowl, “I’m full.”

“Wait, there’s still half a bowl left, why are you eating so little?” Xie Fei held him down and sat him down, “Finish eating before you leave.”

Yan Liang had to sit down again, his chopsticks scratching the bowl with some anxiety.

In less than five minutes, Shi An did come.

“Aunt Fei.” Shi An nodded gently.

Probably because of sleeping with wet hair, Shi An’s hair at the back of his head was slightly sticking up in a tuft. His eyes were also wet from sleep and his cheeks were slightly pink. The whole person looked a little more lively than before.

Yan Liang’s gaze inadvertently swept over Shi An’s brow, and at that moment, his throat choked. The white porcelain spoon he was holding clanged back onto the table.

Shi An tilted his head and glanced at him and Yan Liang met Shi An’s amber eyes.

Those eyes were so bright and clean, how could they be tainted by his dirty thoughts?

Yan Liang averted his eyes as if he had been burned.

Shi An was slightly stunned.

Yan Liang’s pupils were very deep. When he looked at people, it was easy to make people feel that he was focused and affectionate, but when his eyes were not smiling, they seemed to be so deep that they could not see the bottom.

The appearance of Yan Liang made Shi An a little flustered.

After Shi An sat down, Yan Liang stopped picking up vegetables, and ate the rice.

Yan Zhao was downstairs watching the store and Xie Fei had no one to talk to. Yan Liang, who was usually more lively, did not talk, and Shi An was the one who carried out the principle of not saying anything to the end.

The meal was very silent.

Shi An had always hated people showing obscure attitudes to him. He did not have the patience to negotiate with anyone and did not feel the need.

Of course, this ;anyone’ did not include Yan Liang.

He noticed several times that once Yan Liang met his gaze, he would move his eyes away expressionlessly.

For a moment, Shi An was at a loss for words.

Yan Liang finished his meal as quickly as possible and took the dishes to the kitchen to wash them. After he finished washing them, he went back to his room without looking away.

Shi An’s knuckles tightened slightly as he gripped his chopsticks.

A few days ago, Yan Liang’s seemingly unpredictable behavior had planted a seed in Shi An’s heart, and now this seed had taken root and sprouted as quickly as possible.

Shi An felt like he had stepped into a strange circle, everything was so subtle that it was unbelievable.

It was clear that nothing had happened, but he could only look at the most familiar person, as if it was inevitable, getting further and further away from himself.

However, Shi An didn’t even have the courage to find out why.

The person with unspeakable thoughts was him, and it was always him who was destined to run on thin ice.

He didn’t seem to have any initiative at all.

Xie Fei chucked a chopstick of beef into Shi An’s bowl and said, “Xiao An eat, ah? Are you in a daze?”

“…” Shi An lowered his head and scooped up a mouthful of rice and slowly brought it to his mouth.
