Chapter 15: Strait-laced pirate

Cecily, that’s the name of the female pirate captain. She has been sleeping for three days straight without eating anything.

 I’ve been vigilant the whole time, but the other pirates never showed up. I’m still feeling worried though, so I made another stone golem.

After I finished the production of the new golem, I decided to have golem No.1 to guard the house and golem No. 2 to gather food and fetch water. By having two Iwaos, my current defensive capabilities have now doubled.  Thanks to making new golem, my creation magic level has increased to Lv 4, but there was no change other than my Max MP increased to 178.

…I wonder if Cecily would wake up soon…

She’s been sleeping for a long time, but since her breathing is normal, I don’t feel too worried about her condition. I also feel like her complexion has somewhat improved.

I’m thinking that since she hasn’t eaten anything in a while, she won’t be able to suddenly eat solid food. I’m thinking of making a mango juice for her, so let’s have Iwao No. 2 to collect some mangoes.

By using creation magic to produce the mango juice, it’ll only consume 1 MP and can be done in just 3 minutes. No need for a blender or a slow juicer, and it even come with its own clay cup. No fuss, no muss, completely convenient!

It’s also better than doing nothing while I stay cooped up in the cave for four days.

The morning light shone upon Cecily’s sleeping face.

Looking at her face, I think that she’s really good-looking. She also has a nice style. Even her breast size was so voluminous it would even surpass Chris’ size, I estimate it’s about G-cup….

And how would I know that? Well it’s because I saw those mounds when I was changing the bandages. No no, I wasn’t being naughty or perverted, it necessary for medical treatment!

Anyway, I decided to shave my beard to try and calm my heart down. Using the bucket of water that Iwao had fetched, I lathered up the soap, and start shaving my beard. As I shave off the foamed beard, I feel refreshed.

 I can see my face and the rest of the room through the reflection on the mirror, and my eyes met with Cecily’s, who was staring at me.

“Did you wake up already?”

“So, sorry! I didn’t mean to peek!”

For some reason, Cecily turned red and averted her gaze. Why did she look ashamed?

“Peeking? Of what exactly?”

“You, you were removing unwanted hair, and I accidentally saw it…”

Removing unwanted hair, did she mean the act of shaving?

Hmmm, back on earth, it probably be like a boy accidentally witnessing a girl trimming her armpit hair. Come to think of it, half of my face still had foam on it.

“Please wait for a while. I’m going to shave off the rest of my beard”

“wait, no, it’s not supposed to be done in front of a woman…”

She looked like an unruly female pirate, but could it be that she’s actually prim and proper on the inside?

“I don’t mind, you can look if you want”

“No, no, I can’t possibly…”

Wow, she’s really blushing, her face was beet red.

And so I shaved the rest of my beard while enjoying Cecily’s embarrassed reaction.

“Sorry to have kept you waiting. Alright, I have prepared a mango juice for you. Since it’s been awhile since you last ate, please drink it slowly”

I held the cup in my hand and supported her body from the side.

“Sorry for troubling…”

Cecily took a sip and smiled at me.

“It’s good. It tastes really sweet… I feel like it permeates my whole body”

“That’s good to hear. Please continue drinking it slowly”

Cecily gulped down the juice little by little, but she let out a tired sigh.

“Is the wound still hurting?”

“Only a bit, if I try to raise my hand”

It was basically a serious wound; it wouldn’t be surprising if someone died of such wound. And yet she managed to regain consciousness in only three days, I think magic is such a cheat.

“I’ll hold the cup for you to drink, so don’t force yourself”

“No, wait, you don’t have to…”

“An injured person should just quietly follow what the caretaker says!”

I helped Cecily to drink all the mango juice.

“I’m really grateful. Come to think of it, I haven’t heard your name yet, so what’s the name of the person I’m indebted my life to?

“I’m Shirou. Shirou Sanada”

“Shirou, huh… That’s a really beautiful name…”

That’s the first time I heard someone say my name is beautiful. There’s nothing cute about the name ‘Shirou’. It’s the opposite. It’s a very masculine-like name, sometimes I even feeling inferiority complex about having such a name.

“Are you trying to sweet-talk to me?”

“What? No! I honestly think it’s a beautiful name. I don’t have any ulterior motive!”

Cecily quickly denied. She shook her head so vehemently to deny it, I’m afraid her finally closed wound will get re-opened.

Maybe it’s better if I don’t tease her too much.

“Just kidding. Now, please lay down again, it’s better for you to sleep a bit more”

“A, alright”

I put my hands around Cecily’s stiff back and helped her lie down. She must have been tired from drinking and talking after sleeping for three days.

Soon, Cecily fell back to sleep.

Well, what should I do for now?

I want to replenish my food, but I don’t feel like going out yet because there might be pirates. Maybe it’s better to have Iwao No.2 to collect food instead.

“No. 2, go out and get some fruit. Also, if you come across a log this thick, bring it back with you.”

I’m planning to have the log to be made into clubs. Of course, it won’t be for me, but for Iwaos instead.

Iwao No.2 quickly left the cave after receiving the order. The golems may look rough, but strangely they look cute when I see them obediently following what I said.

No problem with the fruits then. Should I make some porridge for Cecily later? I can only think of porridge for food that doesn’t put much burden on the stomach.

Is there anything else that an injured person would need…

Suddenly I realized that Cecily’s condition still doesn’t allow her to move too much, in which case… a urinal… would be necessary.

I did a search and found it in the tool making category.

I’m going to reach Level 5 soon.

The number five sure does have a nice ring to it, right? That’s why I’m thinking that maybe there will be a new development, something like Medicine Production and Other category unlocked when I reach lv 5.

I’m also curious about Golem Production.

If I make another Iwao, my production level will increase to 2; maybe it will unlock the option to create another type of golem. It will takes 48 hours to create Iwao though, so I won’t be able to create anything else in the meantime, which means the situation right now doesn’t allow me to do it.

Yeah, since food is my top priority.

I can’t go out, so I can’t fish, and on top of it Iwao isn’t always successful in bringing in fruits.

While thinking back and forth about it, I set my magic to create Cecily’s porridge.
