It felt like someone called me, so I turned around and saw Sara-senpai and Natsumi-senpai standing there.

“Sara-oneechan!”

Mio-chan said happily and squirmed in my arms, so I hurriedly let her down.

Sara-senpai stroked Mio-chan’s head. I felt my heart tighten as I saw her doing that with a weak smile.

I looked at Natsumi-senpai, but she only shook her head.

As for whether she knows the reason or not, I do not know.

While still thinking, Todo-san approached us.

“I’m sorry to interrupt, Satsukawa-senpai. But do you know Mio-chan?”

“…And who are you?”

Sara-senpai asked Todo-san in a tone that made people feel the tension.

Mio-chan looked at Sara-senpai with a curious expression, concerned about her look.

“Ah, it’s nice to meet you. I am Marina Todo, a freshman. I am Mio-chan’s cousin.”

Todo-san bowed her head towards Sara-senpai and Natsumi-senpai as she greeted them.

“Natsumi Yuzuki.”

“What are you to Takanashi-san…?”

“Oh, we met for the first time when she played with Mio-chan before. Today is the second time.”
