Qing’zhou Prefecture was a large trading city in Qing’yu Kingdom, a middle-strength country in the north. It extended in all directions and was close to Qing’yuan Forest. It was a city where mercenaries and adventurers were relatively concentrated.

To enter Qing’zhou Prefecture, one needed to pay an entrance fee of three low-quality spiritual stones per person. Once the carriage arrived at the checkpoint, the First Elder had already asked someone to pay.

If it were before, the Wu Clan definitely would’ve had Wu Nuan subsidise Lou Mu Yan’s portion herself.

After all, even if she didn’t take a lot of the clan’s resources, she would still go to the mountains to gather herbs herself, so although her finances weren’t the highest among the younger generation, but also not low either.

But now, Lou Mu Yan had become the object they wanted to curry favour with, so let alone three spiritual stones, they wouldn’t hesitate to give even if it were three thousand.

After entering the city, the Wu Clan first went to the place where they had to deliver the escort goods and hand them to the employer, then after receiving the rewards, they went to a regular inn to rest.

After the carriage stopped in the backyard of the inn, the First Elder and the others respectfully said: “Senior Lou, we have arrived at the inn to stay.”

Even after waiting for a while, there was no reply from the carriage. The First Elder internally screamed ‘not good’, then tentatively called: “Senior Lou?”

Still no response, so he called instead: “A’Nuan, are you there?”

This time, even A’Nuan didn’t respond, and everyone present had a bad premonition.

The First Elder waited for a while, then opened the curtains of the carriage for a look, only to see that there was no one in the carriage. A Communication Talisman floated out of the carriage and fell in his hand.

“First Elder, where’s A’Nuan and Senior Lou?” The Third Elder and the others immediately asked when they saw the First Elder’s strange expression.

The First Elder sighed and said: “The Communication Talisman left by A’Nuan said that Senior Lou will take her away to travel the continent and she wouldn’t return to the Wu Clan that quickly.”

“What?” Wu Ya shrieked: “How could she do this! Does she want to enjoy herself and abandon the clan’s interests after currying favour with a Senior?”

Others had the same inward thoughts, and they were all very dissatisfied with Wu Nuan’s actions.

“Enough. It’s Wu Nuan’s blessing to be able to be appreciated by that Senior. That Senior isn’t someone we can discuss.”

The First Elder warned the group: “You’ve all witnessed the methods of that Senior. I advise you all to be more sensible. Just because she values A’Nuan doesn’t mean that she’ll give face to everyone in the Wu Clan.”

Hearing his words, everyone recalled Lou Mu Yan’s methods before, and their backs felt a chill. Even Wu Ya didn’t dare speak no matter how dissatisfied she was, and only cursed Wu Nuan inwardly.

After the members of the Wu Clan returned to their rooms, the First Elder sighed helplessly.

He had a feeling that when Wu Nuan returned to the Wu Clan once more, the direction of the wind of the Wu Clan would definitely change drastically and those who bullied Wu Nuan before would eventually regret it.

No matter what the Wu Clan thought, Lou Mu Yan had taken Wu Nuan away as soon as they entered the city.

The two found a relatively quiet and remote inn to stay in. After entering her room, she released all the spirit pets in the bell.

“OWNER!!” Miao Miao and Chi Huang rubbed against Lou Mu Yan affectionately as soon as they came out.

Bing Ji also said with a flattering smile: “Owner, not seeing you for almost a month is like a separation of three autumns!”

Mo Yan consciously jumped onto Lou Mu Yan’s shoulder and laid on his stomach lazily, saying slowly: “Condensing your elemental core again, not bad, it’s a blessing in disguise.”

Xue Xue transformed into a wooden bracelet and wrapped around Lou Mu Yan’s wrist, rubbing against her, “Owner!”

Then a ray of cyan light fell in the room, and Thunder Monarch’s figure appeared.

When he felt the spiritual force around him and the energy of this interface, his eyes revealed a rare look of joy, then he looked at Lou Mu Yan with complexity, “You’ve brought me to Guang’ling Realm this time, consider it as owing you a favour.”

“Sure!” Lou Mu Yan said without being polite.

Although it was because of the power of the contract that Thunder Monarch was teleported to Guang’ling Realm together, but she wouldn’t not want a free favour.

“By the way, are you lot familiar with the Human Realm?” Lou Mu Yan looked at Thunder Monarch and Mo Yan and asked.

Thunder Monarch shrugged: “Not familiar. Although I was born in Guang’ling Realm, but when I was still a juvenile, I drifted to Tiang’ling Continent together with that competition space.”

Lou Mu Yan poked Mo Yan with her hand, and only then did he say slowly: “I’ve been to the Human Realm before, but I went to the most prosperous Zhong’zhou Continent. I’m not familiar with such a barren land in the north.

“The most prosperous Zhong’zhou Continent? Didn’t they say that there are only the Four States in the Human Realm of East, South, West and North?” Lou Mu Yan asked in surprise.

Mo Yan replied indifferently: “The person you took in isn’t familiar with places other than the north at all, so she didn’t know.

“Zhong’zhou Continent is the most prosperous place in the Human Realm. There are many high-ranking powerhouses, and the palace established by the Ming Palace1 is also located there.”

Mo Yan paused, then said: “Of course, ordinary people don’t know about Zhong’zhou Continent. Only clans who have reached a certain level of strength can know about it. It’s known as the sacred land of the human race.”

“Sacred land of the human race?” Lou Mu Yan asked: “All the headquarters of the major forces of the Human Realm’s there right?”

“Mm. Aside from the Ming Palace, there are several top forces in the Human Realm that occupy a lot of weight in Zhong’zhou.” Mo Yan added: “You still don’t have enough strength to enter Zhong’zhou.”

Lou Mu Yan furrowed her brows and asked: “By the way, how are the cultivation bases divided in the Human Realm after arriving?”

She only knew that the Sword Masters who broke through Sword Deity would condense a golden core, and known as the Core Elemental Realm. She didn’t know anything about the subsequent realms of cultivation.

“In Guang’ling Realm, except for the ascended Sword Masters, most of them are natives, so people from Sword Apprentice to Sword Deity cultivation base still accounts for more than two-thirds of the population, and ascended Sword Masters only account for a very small number of people.

“Above Sword Deity cultivation base are the Core Elemental Realm, Earth Elemental Realm, Heaven Elemental Realm, and the Unification Realm. I heard that after breaking through Unification Realm, one could remain forever in this world and become an Immortal.” Mo Yan thought about it, then said: “But that’s very far off from our current state.”

“Are the realms for your demon race also divided this way?” Lou Mu Yan asked curiously.

“The demonic race in the Core Elemental Realm is also termed Holy Tier, but the other cultivation bases are all the same among all four races.” Mo Yan replied.

“The mental energy I released earlier discovered that the strongest powerhouses of Qing’zhou Prefecture are only a few Sword Deities who are guarding this place. Some of the natives of Guang’ling World aren’t even comparable to those on Tian’ling Continent.” Lou Mu Yan said.

“This is just a remote border town in the north. The overall strength is definitely not high. People who’ve advanced to the Core Elemental Realm have basically all left to join other forces.”

Mo Yan continued: “Although the natives in the Human Realm are provided dense spiritual force to absorb, and their resources are also more abundant, but there are also many people with poor aptitudes, so there are many small clans like the Wu Clan.

“After you enter the central city in the north, you’ll find that it’s very different from here. If you go to Zhong’zhou, you may think that that is the true Guang’ling World.”

“Mm.” Lou Mu Yan nodded and said: “Since you’re all not familiar with this place, then I’d better go into Qing’zhou Prefecture to investigate a little tomorrow.”

She had long asked Jun Luo Chen, and the former Devil Lord wasn’t very familiar with the Human Realm either.

“You indeed need to understand it more carefully before you can decide on your future plans.” Mo Yan agreed.

Lou Mu Yan was bound to go to Zhong’zhou Continent in the future, but it was still too early right now. It was imminent for them to improve their cultivation base and strength together.

1palace and Ming Palace lol… the ‘Ming Palace Imperial Family’ is ‘冥宫皇族’ (Míng gōng huáng zú). ‘宫’ means ‘palace’. 宫殿 (gong diàn) is also palace. Sooooo yeah. The palace of the Ming Palace [Imperial Family]. Ahahaha.
