Jade Mountain is magnificent. It has that perfect shape, and snow caps it at the top. So mesmerizing. And what adds to it splendor, is that the sun sets on the mountain. I will see that later. Just wait you mountain.

"Minho, are we staying here until the 25th?"

"Of course not. We're staying at the top."

"Eh? Did you buy the whole mountain?"

He chuckled. "No. I am not that rich. My family owns this resort. Outside of this, not so sure. But the one at the top, I bought it some time ago. It's my private place to unwind and relax."

"You're sharing it to me?"

"Yes. That's how strong I want you to be part of my life. That I'm willing to share my life to you."

I fet warm. My eyes welled up that I couldn't resist to hug him. "Why are you so good to me?"

He rubbed my back soothingly. "Because you are very important to me."

I hugged him tight. God, do I deserve someone as this?

"Okay stop crying now. Let's move it."

I chuckled despite of the tears. "Yes!"

I brought my backpack, Minho brought his. Of course, when you're hiking, you have to bring your own things.

I was wearing a sweater and a black hiking pants.

"Cass, did you bring something against the cold?"

"Yes. Why? Should I wear more than this?" I noticed we had the same get-up.

"No, but at the top, it's very, very cold."

Very cold? "Is it snowing where we're staying?"

He grinned playfully and shrugged.

"Really?" My eyes lit up. I jumped at him and kissed him on the cheeks. My happiness is overflowing. "Minhoooo! I am so excited!"

"Haha okay okay. Did you bring any?"

"Yesyes. I always anticipate super cold weather when hiking so I brought more sweater. Weeeeee! Let's go now!"

We were following a trail towards the rest house. It's good that this trail has been taken cared of, or else we're on a tight spot. Although, it's a bit slippery, it is better than grasping on tree roots and crawling on muddy ground.

Minho and I remained silent during the hike, an unspoken agreement to let nature speak and for us to just listen. An hour has passed when we reached a fork in the trail. Minho took the left route.

I hesitated, but my curiosity prevailed, "Uh, Minho? Where does the right one end to?"

"A cave."

"There is a cave here? Can we go there?"

"Maybe tomorrow. We need a guide there because the cave is extremely dangerous."

"Oh okay. No problem." I can't believe I'm going to have this Christmas. Before, I would just stay at my home and sulk. Although, I prepared my food, it is really different if you have your family. This is a first for me, and I wonder what would be my feeling after this.

Minutes passed by and I started to feel hungry. When I checked my watch, it showed me it's already 1pm. We have been walking for 5 hours. Wow.

Grrrrrrr~

Oh no. Stomach can you endure for three more hours?

I looked at Minho, he was walking ahead now. Well the trail, is still clear, I'll just follow. First, I have to retrieve my snacks.

I resumed walking with the protein bar in my other hand, when I noticed the fog slowly surrounding the trail. Oh I better get hurry. I'm afraid I'd get lost. I ran towards the direction I last saw Minho.

I was running while taking bite after bite. I somehow feel I look ridiculous. After my last bite without any sign that I'd be reunited with Minho, I was met by a huge wall.

"Oof!"

"Cassidy! Where have you been?! I was so worried and scared when I didn't see you following me."

I rubbed my nose guiltily. "I was getting food." I was saying this with my voice getting fainter. I don't know yet the angry Minho.

"You mean you stopped because you were getting food?"

I nodded. He hugged me tight. "Don't do that again okay? Don't scare me to death. Tell me your plans. That's a rule in hiking don't you remember?"

Yeah. Stupid Cass. In hiking, you should always tell your companions of where you're going. "I'm sorry Minho. I forgot." I felt his heart beating so fast. "I'm really sorry. I won't do it again. Promise."

"Okay." He sighed behind my ear. Then he looked at me and held my face. "You still hungry?"

"I can endure now. I just needed some snacks earlier."

"Okay. Let's better move fast. So that we could eat properly."

So we continued our hike, although Minho tied my hand with a rope while the other end was in his. He said, "To prevent any incidence of pigging out by yourself."

Don't I have the right to be hungry? Are only pigs allowed to be like that? Argh.

"Stop grumbling there. You put this upon yourself."

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah whatever Minho."

He tugged the rope lightly, making me stumble a little. "What was that Cassidy? Be a good girl or I might not let you eat later."

Uh-oh. I triggered the great compassionate and understanding Minho. "Sorry." I said meekly.

"Hmmm."

We remained quiet during the entire journey. After some time, we have finally arrived.
