'Backlash? Wait does this mean?' Haru's eyes widened even further as he heard something familiar.

"Can you tell me more about this backlash?" Haru asked with a serious tone which surprised Jin-woo.

'What happened to him all of a sudden?' jin-woo thought but he didn't interfere in the conversation.

"Well The Absolute being said that backlash is something like a punishment inflicted on those who break the rules, the reason The Absolute being faced backlash was because he was supposed to go back after making sure that living beings were increasing properly but he broke the rules and made us Rulers and Monarchs from his own body," The brightest Fragment of Brilliant light said.

"Why would he do that? There is no need for him to go this far for a place that isn't even related to him, and why would he make you guys fight each other while endangering the extinction of all the races, because that was the thing he wanted to avoid the most," Jin-woo asked as he was confused as to why The Absolute Being will do something that will put him into danger.

"I only came to know of this after I read father's dairy years later, The reason he created us and made us fight each other was that he wanted to make a strong being that could face the powerful beings that will try to destroy this place, It was written that he didn't want to let this place be used as a sacrifice." The Brightest Fragment of brilliant light explained about what he had read.

"So, in simpler words, he had a change of heart when he heard that this place will be used as a sacrifice?" Haru said while tapping his chin.

'But if it was a mission he should've known the details about how this place will end up, why did he suddenly change his decision? this doesn't make sense,' Haru was trying to figure out the reason for this.

"Father didn't know about the fate of this universe until much later, that was also the reason he risked his life by doing this but we reached the wrong conclusion about him, Only Ashborn and Antares knew about this, while the rest of us were short-sighted," The brightest Fragment of Brilliant light said with a heavy heart.

"Well we should leave that aside for now, what's happened has happened anyway. All that matters now is that we have to be more careful because there are potentially stronger enemies waiting out there." Jin-woo brought their attention to the more important subject.

"That is the reason I was telling the two of you to move away from the earth because your presence brings the attention of many dangerous beings to the planet," The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light suggested to the two.

"That is not happening," Jin-woo said plainly refusing this option, and looked at Haru who was lost in his thoughts but noticed his stare and smiled at him.

'So that is what he is going to do,' Jin-woo sighed and looked back at the Ruler.

"I'll respect your decision then, from now on let us do our best to save the human race from extinction." The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant light said as he accepted the choice the two had made.

He looked at Haru nodding and then looked at Jin-woo who was...

"Shadow Monarch if you want you can take a few with you," The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant light said startling Jin-woo who had his eyes fixed on the short swords.

"Oh no there is no need for that it will only trouble you," Jin-woo quickly answered.

"Come on, how obvious can you be? You have been staring at them since you came in, just take it he is saying it is alright," Haru chuckled as he wrapped his arm around Jin-woo's neck.

"Shut it I am just looking around," Jin-woo replied while pushing Haru away.

"Yeah Yeah," Haru said plainly as he had a knowing expression on his face.

"Hey," Jin-woo was getting pissed at Haru.

"It is alright you can have the one you like, see this as a sign of our sincerity in this partnership." The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant light said.

"What he said, But I am sure it mainly because you were at them so intently to burrow a hole through it," Haru chimed in while jabbing Jin-woo who was getting more pissed.

"I'll deal with you later, then I'll take the one if you insist," Jin-woo said as he coughed.

"Typical Tsundere," Haru commented making veins appear on Jin-woo's forehead.

'I am definitely not letting him off,' Jin-woo stomped away towards the short swords.

"You can look around and pick a few things if they pick your interest," The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant told Haru.

"Are you sure this is ok? What if I take the whole armory?" Haru said with a smile.

"It is fine, it will be hard to earn your trust because we have only known each other for a short amount of time but take this as a gesture of our friendship." The brightest Fragment of Brilliant light said.

"But, please do not take the entire Treasury as it will be really problematic," he added

"Sweet, But don't worry that won't happen..... probably," Haru smiled in response making the Ruler to sweat and question if it was the right choice to do this or not.

Back on Earth, Seoul.

A golden portal opened on the top of the building on the outskirts of Seoul.

"Man that was so fun," Haru said as he walked out of the gate with a smile.

"It was fun for you but that Ruler was restless that you might actually take everything," Jin-woo narrowed his eyes while looking at Haru.

"There is no way I would do that, you saw that I only took a few things," Haru spoke as he whistled while looking away.

"Look here while you say that," Jin-woo shouted as he remembered how Haru was looking around the place like he was about to take the treasury with him.

"Haha" Haru just laughed making jin-woo sigh in helplessness.

'I should look for a way to open the box and look at the status as well,' Haru thought as he looked at his to see.

'The second condition is met, how many conditions are there?' Haru took out the purple box and looked at it trying to figure out a way to open it.

Jin-woo who saw the purple box walked toward Haru and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"What happened?" Haru asked.

"It will be lonely without you here," Jin-woo said and walked past him leaving Haru dumfounded.

"Wait, ah he's gone." Haru quickly turned around but Jin-woo was missing although Haru could still feel where he was he chose not to go after him because he knew that Jin-woo will throw a tantrum if he did.

"Well, I guess it will lonely," Haru smiled and went down to Jin-woo's house.

He walked in to see Kyung-hye and Il-hwan sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"There you are Haru where have you been for the past 2 hours?" Kyung-hye asked with a soft smile.

"Jin-woo and I were talking on the roof," Haru said and looked at Il-hwan who was looking at him as if he understood what happened.

"Anyway, why are all of them in Jin-ah's room?" Haru asked as he sat down on the sofa adjacent to Kyung-hye.

"Oh, they were saying something like 'it is time for the sinner to be punished' and took Queresha inside Joo-hee followed them in because she was curious," Kyung-hye said as she tapped her chin.

"Oh, Ok." Haru just nodded as he thought it might be girls' talk.

'Now I should focus more on the main problem at hand, I need to find a way to get stronger than before because my powers now won't cut it if I want to meet them again.' Haru thought about the main problems that will need his attention right now so he stood up.

"I'll be back in a bit," Haru said to the two who nodded.

Haru then walked out of the house and went to his old house that was just across from Jin-woo's house.

"It has been a while since I came here," Haru muttered as he opened the door with his key and entered inside.

"This place has a homely feeling for some reason," Haru said as he sat down on the sofa and took out the purple box from his inventory, and checked if there was any way to open it.

After 10 minutes…..

"How do I open this damn box? There is no lid on it I have tried every catchphrase and even mana," Haru was looking at the box with purple carving which was placed on the glass table in front of him.

'I have tried everything why isn't it opening? Maybe I should look at the red box for some clues.' Haru was in a bit of a conundrum as he took out the red box from his inventory.

And as soon as Haru took the red box out of the inventory.
