My Second Life in Another World

Haru looked around and saw he was standing on an endless mirror-like surface that reflected the sky. The place where his feet landed caused ripples in the calm surface of the water.

CAW* CAW*

Raum cried out as he flew off Haru's shoulder.

"Oh ok," Haru nodded as he heard Raum say 'I'll help as well,'

Haru looked back at the Beasts who were still standing without moving.

'Are they just going to stand there?' Haru thought and….

ROOAARRRRRRRRRRRR*

A hundred Beasts cried out as they started running straight at Haru.

Seeing the beasts heading for him, a red cloak enveloped Haru's body.

Haru went into the KCM: Sage of Six path mode, He wasn't planning on holding back as 9 truth-seeking orbs materialized behind him.

Haru also condensed Haoshoku Haki on his Katana making black lighting to surround it.

CRACKLE* CRACKLE*

"Let's dance," Haru said in a serious tone while looking at the 100 raging beasts running at him.

'I always wanted to say that,' Haru thought as he rushed head-on into the beasts made by fire.

Haru swung his sword vertically with all of his power sending out a huge black slash clad in black lightning.

SLASH* CRACKLE*

Many of the animals from the army dispersed avoiding the slash but one of them jumped at the sword slash, It was the gorilla who jumped high in the sky and brought down its huge fists on the slash.

BANGGGGGGGGGGGG*

CRACK* SMASH*

With a loud bang, the slash was broken into pieces.

RAWRRRRRRR* BANG* BANG*

The gorilla shouted and banged his chest with a proud expression but…

"What are you so proud for?" Haru said as his left eye flashed. And the dark red slash appeared in front of the Gorilla and landed on its chest. The gorilla flew out like a cannonball and landed on the water surface making a large pillar of water fly up in the sky.

SLASH* BANG* SPLASH*

RAWR?

The Gorilla was confused as he saw that the slash nearly cut him in half. The gorilla looked up at Haru and his body started to repair itself quickly. In less than a second, he was as good as new.

'Hey hey, are you serious? That is bullshit, GM where are you?' Haru was shouting in his mind as he saw how the Gorilla used Aether to restore his body.

[You of all people shouldn't be saying that,] Kurumi scoffed while Haru chuckled.

But Haru didn't have much time to look at the gorilla because he saw several hundred fireballs that were the size of a 10-story building heading for him.

Haru quickly dodged his way in the dense line of fireballs aiming to reduce him to ashes.

BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG*

Hundreds of explosions sounded out behind Haru kicking up pillars of water as he looked ahead and saw the last 10 fireballs which were still a few hundred meters away from him.

'I can easily dodge th-' Before Haru could finish his thought the ten fireballs that were away from him appeared in front of him covering his front view.

'How?' Haru was shocked as the fireballs were about to hit him.

BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG* BANG*

Loud explosions sounded out as the fireballs landed.

CAW* CAW*

Raum was worried as he turned to look around but he quickly flapped his wings to dodge a fire slash heading for him.

CAW*

Raum's opponent was a Crow just like him he shouted as if saying 'Where are you looking?'

Raum flapped his wings and sent many dark red fire slashes at the Crow in anger. He was still worried about Haru.

"Just focus on your opponent Raum," Haru's voice rang out as the smoke was cleared from the area Haru stood there unharmed with a black shield from the front and sides.

CAW*

Raum affirmed and looked at the Crow in front of him then flapped his wings quickly sending out numerous slashes out.

The black shield in front of Haru got smaller and turned into a truth-seeking orb.

'Not only did I feel like the time stopped but I was stuck in my place without being able to move, and this fire has a high destructive power as well….. So this is what Aether is capable of huh,' Haru thought.

[This is why you need to observe them,] Kurumi said with a yawn like she was at home.

[So you want me to learn the use of Aether while fighting?] Haru asked.

[Uh-huh dance to your heart's content,] Kurumi said with a giggle.

Haru looked at the beasts in front of him and smiled.

"Isn't this great," Haru jumped straight ahead towards the beasts.

Flap*

The butterfly appeared in front of Haru and sent out fire slashes at him.

Haru dodged a few while cutting down the rest with his katana. Haru instantly reached the butterfly with his speed and went past it.

WHOOSH*

Suddenly the butterfly was lit up with numerous red slashes all over its body.

SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH* SLASH*

The Butterfly was divided into numerous pieces before it could even react.

WHIP* SWOOSH*

Haru who was killing a few Fire beasts while observing them suddenly dodged to the side as a Snake whipped his tail at him at full speed. Haru was only able to dodge by a hair breath but then his body tensed up.

He quickly lifted his katana above his head.

BANG*

Huge claws of the tiger fell on his katana, and Haru tanked the power that was behind the attack, He pushed the tiger's claws up freeing himself. But that was the least of his worries.

WHOOSH*

Almost as if teleporting the Gorilla appeared beside Haru and punched at his body with full force.

BAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNGGGGG*

Haru somehow quickly brought his katana in front of his chest to block the attack but he was sent flying and landed on the water's surface and stabilized himself.

'It isn't their attack power that is troublesome, I have fought Antares without any difficulty before,' Just as Haru said he swung his katana horizontally to the right and cut apart the eagle that appeared there.

'But, the problem here is the numbers,' Haru thought and more than 10 different beasts surrounded him instantly almost as if they appeared out of thin air attacking him with their claws and fangs.

Haru could feel his body being stuck in space again this time even his truth-seeking orb were also stuck in its place, Haru looked around and saw that the beasts were encircling him.

"And their use of Aether," Haru said as the beasts were just a few millimeters away from bombarding his body.

"[Shinra Tensei]"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM* CRACKLE* CRACKLE*

Haru's voice resounded in the air as the Fire Beasts were flung away as black lightning crackled away ripping the fire beasts into pieces.

Haru looked up and saw the Dragon looking at him, This dragon was responsible for what happened just now and it isn't him alone.

'I guess I should get rid of the lower level ones before going for them,' Haru thought as he started to observe everything around him.

Haru swung his katana to the right in an upward slash and met with the gorilla's fists.

BANG*

Haru pushed the gorilla's fist to the side and ran forward.

SWIPE*

Barely dodging the Wolf that attacked him from behind with its claws.

Seeing Haru come close the Gorilla tried to stomp Haru who dodged it and before the gorilla could react….

SLASH*

RAWR*

His legs were cut in half.

'I need to be faster in learning Aether or every attack I do on these guys will be for nothing,' Haru thought as he cut off unnecessary thoughts out of his mind because he saw the gorilla already regrew its legs. Even though he can summon thousands of clones he wanted to defeat these beasts on his own and learn more about his limit.

From the start till this day Haru has never really been pushed to his limit, hell he never even went halfway. So this was a good opportunity for him and above all.

"I get to look cool, So why the fuck not," Haru said with a smirk as he ran straight to the weaker beasts at full speed it was like a red streak of light passing by cutting down the beasts.

(A/N: why did I think this was a good idea? Damn it, my head hurts trying to make this fight scene good,)

But, the other beasts aren't just going to stand there and watch.

Once again hundreds of Giant fireballs were hurled at Haru but this time.

'Blue?' Haru muttered as he dodged the rain of blue Fireballs while cutting apart a few while threading through them.

But there was a problem even while Haru was cutting them apart.
