After 10 minutes Kanae stepped away.

"So you've calmed down now?" I asked her as I turned around and looked at her.

"Yes." She said with her back facing me. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Weren't you so brave just now? What happened to your bravado?" I asked her.

"YOU BASTARD. SHUT UPPPPPPP!!!!!" she turned around and shouted with a red face as she threw a punch on my face well I dodged it.

"Ok, Ok no need to be this angry your face is all red," I said and she stopped and turned around again as she covered her face.

'Seriously, tomboyish girls are the cutest.' I nodded as I have learned some truth about the universe.

Then we checked the whole place for traps and hidden rooms but we didn't find anything but Kanae hasn't been talking to me. But this place has been awfully quiet. I thought as I exited the gate there were a lot of mana stones here so the mining team doesn't have to worry as the stones are near the entrance.

"Ok then let's go back and tell the mining team to work," I said to Kanae who ignored me again and walked towards the gate.

I just shook my head as I followed her out.

We reached the place where the mining team was and told them to go inside without worrying. The hunters outside have finished cleaning up the corpses of the giants and they were currently resting for the boss battle.

"Yo, can you spare some time?" I heard a loud voice from my left and saw a huge man with blonde hair wearing a Hawaiian shirt and shorts. And a handsome man with long black hair tied in a ponytail.

"Sure," I said while looking at them and then we went towards the room they were previously in. I sat down and took the glass of wine that was given to me by the beautiful blonde-haired woman who was standing inside. I placed it on the table and looked at them.

"Nice to meet you, Hunter Tsugikuni my name is Liu Zhigang. You can call me Zhigang." The man with long black hair said.

I nodded at him and looked at the Blonde haired man who said.

"My name is Thomas Andre I am the guild master of Scavenger guild. Just call me Thomas." He said as he grinned.

"My name is Laura and I am the guild secretary of Scavenger guild. A pleasure to meet you." The beautiful blonde-haired woman who is wearing a business suit said as she bowed.

"Nice to meet you both, My name is Tsugikuni Haru. You can me Haru." I said with a smile.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked them.

"It was about the monster you just defeated do you know the level of that monster?" Thomas asked as his face became serious.

"No, I don't," I said while shaking my head as I took a sip of the wine.

'It is good.' I nodded my head as it has been a while since I drank.

"That magical beast was on the level of Kamish. The monster that came out of the first S-rank gate and slaughtered many S-rank hunters." Zhigang said with a serious expression.

"Then the last seven S-rank hunters fought it together and defeated it and those hunters were later given the title of National rank hunters," Thomas said with a wide grin.

"I know that. I am sitting in front of two national-rank hunters. So why are you telling me this?" I asked.

"Because the world is going to welcome the 8th National Rank hunter," Thomas said with a smile and Zhigang nodded.

"You have defeated a monster that was on the level of Kamish alone. That shows your power and I am very certain that we don't stand a chance against you after you've done that." Zhigang pointed at the sky with Thomas and Laura outside the window as well.

They saw the dark red sky has been parted into two.

"Damn, I didn't see it before," Thomas shouted with excitement and Laura had her mouth hanging open.

"Well, what is bugging me about this dungeon is that there is still the boss monster left. What type of beast is it going to be? It is more powerful than the one you defeated." Zhigang said seriously.

I felt the mining team come out of the gate. And Goto went inside? 'What is he doing?did he go to patrol the area?'

While I was thinking Thomas broke out of his excitement as he sat down said.

"Yes, this is serious. We have already told the Japanese government about this situation and we are going to participate as well the Japanese government has agreed to pay us according to our fees but we already told them to not cut your pay or rather increase it." Thomas said with a serious face and then laughed.

"Well, I don't mind you guys helping me out," I said and stood up.

"Ok, then I'll get ready," Zhigang said as he opened the suitcase he brought with him and put on his armor, and took his swords.

"He still carries them around like always," Thomas said as he shook his head.

"He carries around his equipment?" I asked curiously.

"Well, this guy is a battle maniac after all," Thomas said as he smiled.

I shrugged and we towards the exit.

"Bye," I said bye to Laura with a smile.

"B-Bye." She said with a bit of a blush?

"Quite the lady killer, aren't you?. HAHAHAHAHA." Thomas laughed heartily as we walked.

I shook my head as we went towards the gate just when we reached the hunters that have gathered together Kanae stood next to me. I looked at them and said.

"Ok let's go we have to kill the boss."

"Goto-san isn't here yet," Tatsumi said as he sounded a bit apologetic.

"He went into the gate like 15 minutes ago didn't he say anything?" I asked and this caused them to become stunned.

"Wh-what Goto-san went inside the gate?" Tatsumi stuttered as his face went pale.

"What happened Haru did any problems pop up?" Thomas asked me.

"Yeah, one of the hunte-" my answer was interrupted by a mana storm. And a large amount of mana was sucked into the gate.

The mana was moving in such a ginormous amount that it affected the surroundings and the Hunters all felt like they were standing in a hurricane as they would fly off at any time.

I hugged Kanae who was standing next to me shielding her from the strong mana waves that were coming. The waves damaged all the hunters present as they cut on various parts of their bodies and the Kei made a huge wall of ice to protect others but it was destroyed by the strong waves then it went on for a minute and stopped.

I looked at the gate seriously. As I let Kanae out of my embrace. Not noticing her reaction as I thought.

"Did that idiot..."

Goto Pov.

I looked at the giant that came out of the gate last and my legs trembled I wanted to run away from here.

And when the giant was about to attack I fell on the ground my legs weren't moving at all.

Then I saw 'him' defeating the monster easily.

'WHY WHY IS HE THAT STRONG? WHY AM I THIS WEAK I WANT TO BE STRONG DAMN IT. WHY WHY WHY?.' My anger overtook me again but I can't do anything against him. I am weak.

I went back to rest as I was sitting down I said while pulling my hair.

"FUCK damn it why am I not that strong"

'Do you want strength?' I heard a voice and stood up fast and looked behind.

I saw a handsome boy with shoulder-length black hair with grey eyes that looked empty as he came near me and said in a low voice.

'Answer me, Do you want strength?' He said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"I do," I said as I looked down and sat down.

'Do you want the power to destroy all those you hate and rule over everyone?' He whispered near my ears.

My anger boiled when I remembered how weak I am in front of that guy.

'Do you want to kill your enemy and trample on them?' he said.

"I do."

'Then go there you will find what you are looking for.' He said as he pointed at the gate.

I stood up and asked.

"What is your name?"

He turned towards me and said.

'My name is...….'

I was now standing in front of the boss room of the gate. And I got scared from the pressure that was coming from behind the gate. But I opened it and saw a giant with bushy bread chained down on the ground.

(What are you doing here human?) The giant said as he looked up and my legs gave out when he looked at me.

'Do I have to free him?' I thought.

'What are you sitting there for didn't you want power. To kill your enemy, to rule the world, to fulfill your ambition now it is in front of you go and take it.' I heard his voice again and I stood up.

I went near the giant and removed the chains from him then I saw him grin as he picked me up before I can even react and put dropped me in his mouth.

"DAMN YOU EREN YEAGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR."

(I'll pay you later.) The giant said to the handsome boy who helped him get free of the seal.

"I am just doing what I want. Are you going to leave?" the boy asked.

(Yes I have to regroup with my army.) The giant said.

"Why not destroy the country outside?" the boy said.

(No I have to get to my army.) The giant shook his head after reluctance.

"Don't you want to show powers to those bastards who sealed you here?Dont you want to have your revenge for being locked her for so long?" the boy said as he smiled.

The anger in the eyes of the giant boiled as he remembered how he was sealed here.

The boy vanished from the place as if he was never there.

The giant grinned and went towards the gate.

(Let me destroy this place to show those dumb rulers my power.) The giant said as he walked out.
