They had arrived at the Gate. Jin-woo stopped the car.

Jin-woo got out of the car and Song-Yi followed him.

He met Hyun Gi-Cheol outside who was waiting for after introducing Song-Yi. After talking for a few minutes they heard an impatient voice.

"Can we get going already? We're not here for a picnic. It's almost nine."

Without waiting for their response, the man returned to the Gate. Jin-woo could tell he was not an ordinary man; he turned to Hyun Gi-Cheol,

"Who was that?"

"Ah, he's an A-rank recruit that just entered the Guild. When we informed him about you and the student, he was annoyed. Said something about a Dungeon not being a playground…"

"A-rank?"

Hyun Gi-Cheol nodded. The man is an A-rank would explain the presence Jin-woo felt. Jin-woo asked another question,

"What's the level of the raiding party?"

"One A-rank, seven B-ranks, four C-ranks for a total of twelve members."

"You're taking an A-rank and B-ranks for just a C-rank Gate?"

"Well, even if their rank is high, they're newbies. It's to give them a taste of what the Dungeon is like."

Hyun Gi-Cheol spoke with pride. Once they completed their Raid today, he added that they would be placed in official high-level Raids going forward.

Baek-ho's recruits entered the Gate one by one. Han Song-Yi stopped before the Gate and turned to Jin-woo,

"What about you, ahjussi?"

Jin-woo crossed his arms and replied,

"I'll see you go in first."

With a face filled with nervousness, the girl nodded and entered.

'Hmm.'

Jin-woo turned back to the Gate.

Something was wrong.

'...?'

'Wait, this is..!'

Jin-woo sharply turned his head and met Hyun Gi-Cheol's eyes. The employee also realized something was wrong. Jin-woo shouted at the man,

"CALL YOUR MAIN HUNTERS, RIGHT N-"

Before Jin-woo could finish, he was sucked into the Gate.

"W-what was that?"

"D-deputy Hyun!"

Hyun Gi-Cheol ran to the Gate. The three other Baek-ho employees also went up behind him. In front of the Gate, Hyun Gi-Cheol was panicking.

"No… no way!"

"D-deputy! The Gate is turning red!"

As if a drop of blood fell on the surface of the water, the Gate's surface was quickly turning red. Hyun Gi-Cheol ignored the employees and quickly made a call.

- "What is it, Gi-Cheol?"

"Chief! It's a Red Gate! The recruits just entered a Red Gate!!!"

- "What?!"

Ahn Sang-min's voice became serious.

- "What the hell?! How did a Red Gate come out of a C-rank Gate?!"

Hyun Gi-Cheol looked up at the Gate that had turned completely red. The rippling had already stopped. The deputy gulped.

"I… I don't know, but it's a Red Gate."

- "What?!!!"

-"I'll have to check it myself."

With that, the call ended.

THIRD-PERSON POV

The guild master of the Baek-ho guild was standing outside of the red gate with a solemn expression thinking about the raid team after asking the personnel present about who entered.

'I can only put my trust in the A-rank who went in. and hope they make it back.'

A car stopped outside the red gate.

The car's door opened as a voice sounded.

"HUH, what happened here?"

"it was a C-rank gate. How did it turn into an A-rank?"

"Why is the precious guild master of Baek-ho guild doing here?"

After hearing this voice veins appeared on Baek Yoon-Ho's neck and forehead as he shouted.

"Hwang Dong-Su?! Why are you in Korea?"

"I came back for some business and didn't expect to meet you here. Korea sure is SMALL." Dong-Su said sarcastically.

"JUST ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION. Why is the man that is should be in the USA, is in Korea and doing business in the territory of the Baek-Ho Guild" Yoon-Ho said as his hair started turning white and his pupils looked like that of a beast with a vertical slit and glowing.

"Oh, it's your area? Then let me ask did that E-rank hunter enter your guild?" Dong-su said

"Who are you talking about?" Yoon-Ho asked

"I'm talking about Sung Jin-Woo." Leaving a dumbfounded Yoon-ho he went and examined the gate.

"It's a red gate for sure."

'Why are they so fixated on that E-rank?' Yoon-Ho thought as he listened to his subordinate's report before.

"I came all the way here and he is stuck in the dungeon. It sure is hard to look at the face of hunter Sung Jin-Woo. Well, it's not like I don't know where he lives." He smiled maliciously and looked at his phone.

"He has a sister too. Let's see his expression when he comes back."

When Yoon-Ho and Jin-Chul heard this they wanted to stop Dong-Su but they heard a voice.

"What did you say?" A voice sounded near them which shocked Dong-Su and Jin-Chul as they looked from where the voice came they saw a handsome boy who looked in his late teen 6ft in height long red hair that reaches his waist even after being tied in a ponytail with locks falling on the side of his face and forehead and a dark red flame-like mark on the left side of his forehead.

His eyes were glowing red like jewels dangerously yet beautifully.

Dong-Su and Jin-Chul went on their guard as they didn't even feel mana from him. Which was abnormal.

And Yoon-Ho didn't even move a muscle as he was sweating bullets call it an instinct. A predator knows a predator the best. He knows that a wrong move can get him killed.

Back to Mc

I went towards the red gate where I know Dong-Su is going to come to find Jin-woo I want to 'convince' him not to do anything Against Jin-Woo's family. Around this time Uncle Il-Hwan came out of a dungeon in America. And he accused him of being a monster as if thinking that he can get him killed to get back at Jin-Woo.

And after that, it created a chain of events in which uncle was announced to be the murderer of hunter Christopher Reed and was wanted all over the world.

I'll just make sure that he doesn't do it again even if I have to use force. I reached the red gate and I heard

"I came all the way here and he is stuck in the dungeon. It sure is hard to look at the face of hunter Sung Jin-Woo. Well, it's not like I don't know where he lives. He has a sister too. Let's see his expression when comes back."

'Looks like someone wants to die early.' I was thinking I can get angry but I didn't. He isn't worth getting angry about.

"What did you say?" I said 15 ft away from them they all flinched and faced me. I can see Dong-Su and Jin-Chul taking a fighting stance and Yoon-Ho sweating and not even moving.

'As expected of someone with a beast transformation ability, he has sharp senses.' My gaze lingered on him for a second and then I looked at Dong-Su and asked with a cold voice.

"You haven't answered yet. What were you going to do?"

"HUH, FUCKER WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO ASK ME ABOUT THAT, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" He shouted will veins visible on his neck.

"I don't know who you are. But I can see that you are not someone with considerable intelligence so let me simplify it for you." I said nodding as if I understood. I really expected too much from a stepping stone.

"YOOOU-" before he continued I cut him off.

"What were you going to do, to Jin-Woo and my sister? Is that simple enough for you or do you need me to write it down on a whiteboard for you?"

He was clearly angry but then Jin-Chul recognized me.

"It's you the boy who came to meet Hunter Sung in hospital."

And Dong-Su's ears perked up as he looked at me and smiled with a toothy grin seemingly forgetting the insults.

"OH, you know him. Saves the trouble of going to find his family. As for what I am going to do to his sister I don't think it's hard to guess. hahahahaha" He laughed maniacally.

'Even if the hunters are under 'control' they can still get away with crimes if they are highly ranked and have enough money.'

"What are you gonna do about it? you don't even have mana you're a normal civilian. And you are his friend right and as you are angry your relationship should be close. Let's see his reaction when he sees you with your arms and legs broken. given he comes back alive. I'll get his sister later." He said as he made his way towards me walking and was about to grab my arm.

'Trash is still Trash no matter how you present it.'

"S-STOP," Yoon-Ho said as he had difficulty speaking. His instinct was screaming to him 'RUN AWAY' but as a guild master of one of the top guilds he could run away he wanted to stop Dong-Su. But was too late.

"You're not hurting a civilian even if you are an S-Rank. You won't get away with it." Jin-Chul said wanting to stop Dong-Su.

But what they saw next was not something they imagined.

Who they thought was a 'civilian' was holding Dong-Su's arm.

I grabbed his arm and squeezed a bit causing him to scream.

"ARGHHHHH YOU BASTARD WHAT ARE YOU DOING??" he tried to take his arm back, but it didn't work.

'I'll show a bit of my power to them.' I thought as I released a bit of Haoshoku Haki to intimidate him. And the structure around us started to shake and concrete started cracking.

As the haki was released both Jin-Chul and Yoon-Ho stiffened as they weren't even able to move, The normal personnel were looking at me trembling some even pissed themselves. I have enough control over it to not knock out anyone I don't want to. But still, they are still normal people.

'I should finish it as soon as possible.' I thought and looked at Dong-Su who was trembling like a mouse cornered by a cat.

"What were you going to do?" I asked him as looked him in his eyes.

And broke his arm.

"ARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH." His miserable scream sounded all around the area. As blood flowed from his arm and his broken bones were poking out of his skin.

"KYYAAAAAA" a female member of the personnel from the Baek-Ho guild screamed looking at this. And the male members were pale.

Yoon-Ho And Jin-Chul wanted to stop me but weren't able to move.

Even if they were able to, they didn't know what they would do. As they saw me man-handling an S-Rank.

"I didn't hear your answer." I looked him in the eye as he was trembling.

I activated my Sharingan and used the ability of my left eye that is 'Gensō no Yume and brought him into a dream-like space that looked like a barren land with tall mountains everywhere and the sun was high up in the sky shining ominously with dark red color.

I looked at him, I have 1 second to make him regret ever doing anything to anyone related to me and Jin-Woo and instill it in him.

That every time he thinks about it he feels pain across his body and remembers this.

Then I started to torture him with what I knew I did this for 7 days by breaking every single bone in his body over and over again, then stabbing him in different places and killing him over and over again. It wasn't much but I didn't want to waste any more of my time on this trash.

He was begging me to stop through the process but I didn't and made him know what he shouldn't do.

After coming back and a second didn't even pass. I said as I looked at Dong-Su who passed out and stopped the Haoshoku Haki.

""Hah, hah, Hah"" I can hear both Yoon-Ho and Jin-Chul gasping for air and asked

"Did Jin-woo enter the gate?" I asked Yoon-Ho.

"Yes, he did but we don't know if he'll make it back. As it's a red gate." He said after calming himself down.

"He'll make it back, you should worry your guild members," I said plainly.

'How is he so sure?' both Jin-Chul and Yoon-Ho were thinking the same thing Jin-Chul was about to ask for his hunter license, but…

"Before you ask, I don't have a Hunters license. I will be coming to the association tomorrow for an evaluation." I said while looking at Jin-Chul.

"Now I will go back," I said as I vanished.

Outside of the red gate

Silence! No one said a word.

'Who was he? He has that type of power after just being awakened?'

Jin-Chul and Yoon-ho thought. As Yoon-Ho said to the healer from his guild to heal Dong-Su.

"Who was he?" Yoon-Ho asked Jin-Chul as his hair turned back to normal.

"I don't know him. He was there With Hunter Sung before that's all I know." Jin-Chul said.

'I need to report this to the chairman. ' he thought

Both of them had questions but one thing was for certain they will get their answer tomorrow.
