"Where am I?" Jin-woo said as he looked around to see a dimly lit place that had a marble floor and huge pillars.

Although it was dark Jin-woo could clearly see his surroundings.

Jin-woo looked towards the right side as he felt a dangerous amount of mana from that direction to see a man sitting on a throne that was on a high platform.

(Looks like you finally noticed me.) A handsome middle-aged man with long red hair, a neatly trimmed red beard, and glowing red eyes. He also wore silver-red armor with a high collar and a reddish-brown tailcoat said. And a handsome blonde-haired man stood beside him looking at the scene in silence.

"Who are you?" Jin-woo said as his eyes glowed purple as he felt the threat from the man that spoke in monster language. He vaguely knew who this man was but it wasn't coming to his mind.

(You don't know about me Shadow Monarch's vessel?) The man asked.

Jin-woo didn't answer back but just looked at the man trying to come up with a plan in his mind.

(Then let me introduce myself, My name is Antares The Monarch of Destruction.) Antares said as he used his skill [Dragon's Fear] and the air in the hall became heavy.

'What? This is like Haru's skill.' Jin-woo felt an immense pressure bearing down on him trying to crush him.

'I can't…..move properly.' Jin-woo thought it was difficult for him to move but it wasn't impossible as he has gotten used to this type of pressure when he raided with Haru in Africa but he sweated under the enormous pressure that was released by Antares. If the pressure Haru emanated was always precise and controlled, the pressure he was feeling at the moment was a violent and destructive one.

"[Shadow Exchange]" Jin-woo used his skill to get out of this place he can move but he can't fight the person in front of him so he made a choice to retreat but….

"It isn't working. What happened?" Jin-woo said as he was confused about the failure of the skill because this is the first time it happened.

(Stop the futile resistance you aren't even the real shadow monarch, but to be able to stand in front of me is commendable, Shadow monarch's vessel why don't you join our ranks.) Antares said as his eyes glowed in crimson increasing the pressure on jin-woo.

"I refuse," Jin-woo said without much thought to it, the reason is simple he knows what the goal the person in front of him has.

'Did you think I'll let you destroy the earth? A place where my family lives over my dead body,' Jin-woo thought back to the talk he had with his dad when he returned so there is no way he would agree to watch them wipe out humanity.

(I see, It's a pity then…..) Antares said as many glowing eyes appeared behind his throne and many creatures started moving forward towards Jin-woo.

(….You die here.) Antares said as various monsters ranging from Tall Dragons as big as 7 story buildings, Huge golems that could match the dragons, Ice elves with different weapons, insects of different types and sizes, skeletons varying from those clad in armor to those that held staves, and many beast-like creatures.

'This is bad, I can barely move in this state if I have to fight all of them then….' Jin-woo thought as he tried to move his body and his body complied despite him being weaker than the person in front of him.

"As I said, I refuse, Come my shadows," Jin-woo said as his shadow enlarged, and Beru, Igris, Tank, Tusk, and Jima lined behind him with others behind them. And a large army of shadows appeared behind him as they looked at the enemies in front of them.

(Alright then, At least entertain me while you are still alive.) Antares said as he looked at Jin-woo from his throne as Jin-woo looked at the monster army that reached the number of 500,000.

'Does he look at me as a source of entertainment?' Jin-woo's brows furrowed.

"This isn't going to be easy," Jin-woo said as he looked at the army in front of him.

"Go forth," Jin-woo said in a low voice as he summoned his daggers in his hands.

And Beru's loud screech marked the beginning of the clash between the shadow army and the large monster army that was 50 times the size of the shadow army.

In a huge hall that was lit by a big chandelier on the high ceiling of the hall. There were many weapons from swords to hammers it looked like an arsenal but the weapons shined in a brilliant light showing that they weren't normal weapons, these weapons decorated the walls of this big room and many displays that had many rings, bracelets, and earrings placed as they shined luminously.

In the depths of the hall a huge, slender white knight with large white wings, glowing white eyes, and a distinct white crest. He also wore golden armor over an intricate white and blue robe and was standing in front of two pedestals. There was a large ornamental chalice with yellow trims, indigo-colored glass, and a light blue stem. But there were many cracks in the beautiful chalice and it looked like it will break apart at any time.

"There aren't More chances left we have to do it this time or humanity is doomed. And we won't be able to achieve our purpose." The knight muttered as he looked at the second pedestal there was a small red box decorated with rose gold Flower designs with touches of purple in between.

"We are still unable to open this box, what could it be? Is it something that can help us?" The knight was thinking out loud as he looked at the chalice again that has given them many chances then looked at the small box.

"It is alright we will be able to finish the war between rulers and monarchs this time." The knight said as there was a sudden disruption and the gate of the room flew open.

"The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light there is a big problem." A slender white knight with large white wings, glowing pink eyes, and a distinct white crest, She also wore dark pink armor over an intricate pink robe that had flowery designs said in a panicked voice as she rushed inside the room.

The white knight looked back to see how flustered the one who came in was.

"What happened Fragment of Luminosity? That it made you barge in the treasury like this?" The Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light said.

"The monarchs used the Artefact 'Dimensional Lost' to abduct The Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Lights Vessel and isolated him in space with them," Fragment of Luminosity said.

"What?? How did this happen wasn't Fragment of Radiance keeping an eye on him to prevent any attacks on the vessel. How can he miss the shift in space with his ability." The Greatest Fragment of Brilliant light said as he felt a headache rising.

"The Iron Body monarch attacked him when he was looking at the vessel; he suddenly appeared and attacked him out of nowhere although he wasn't injured by the time he noticed the vessel vanished with the shift in space." The Fragment of Luminosity said.

"Have you located the place where he has been isolated?" the Brightest Fragment of Brilliant Light said.

"Fragment of Radiance had located it but he can't break into it with his 'Space Nullification' as it is an artifact left behind by the Absolute Being it is very hard to break into the space that has been sealed by it. We can only look from outside at the moment and Monarch of Destruction was inside there just a moment ago." Fragment of Luminosity said.

The brightest Fragment of Light was nodding as he understood the situation but, after hearing about the Monarch of Destruction the white knight stagnated a bit.

'What is he doing there? Does he want to recruit the new Shadow monarch no that won't happen as the new shadow monarch will refuse for sure, then…..' his eyes widened as he understood what was going to happen.

"Where is that 'Person'?" The Brightest Fragment of Light asked.

'Fuck. I can't even take more mana potions now.' Jin-woo thought as he dodged the claws of the giant dragon as his whole body was riddled with wounds.

'I exhausted all of my Mana, I can't summon the shadows anymore.' Jin-woo thought as he dashed forward.

BANG*

And a giant claw fell on the position where he was before the surroundings were filled with mutilated corpses of different monsters as Jin-woo looked at the 250,000 monsters that were still there and attacking him.

Jin-woo looked in front of him and saw the giant bear that attacked him just now.

RARRWWWWW*

The Bear roared as it used its left claws to swipe at jin-woo.

SWOOSH*

Jin-woo jumped and stepped on the left claws to springboard himself forwards and sliced at the neck of the bear.

THUD*

SPLASHHH*

The bear's head slid down and fell to the ground as blood splashed all over the place.

Jin-woo who just landed crossed his daggers in front of his chest.

BANNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG*

A punch hit the daggers knocking jin-woo back as he stabilized himself.

(Finish him; It was entertaining while it lasted.) Antares said as he vanished with his throne.

(As you command,) The blonde-haired man said as he looked at Jin-woo with a smirk.

"Fuck," Jin-woo cursed as he wiped the blood off his lips but his grip on the handle of the Daggers tightened.
