Rise of the Cosmic_Emperor

881 Hal, The Infinite Cosmic Sovereign. Part 1

What Hal was doing was in no way secretive but his forces were keeping the godly army busy and leaving him free to do as he pleased.

Hal first used up all the essence he had absorbed during previous dual cultivation sessions and then began to utilize the cosmic energy he was siphoning.

With Infinity as his backing, Hal had a clear path toward divinity... His path was free of bottlenecks and every tribulation he met, he swallowed and turned into energy to further his cultivation.

The chaos he had refined from Amador strengthened his Infinity and helped make it all possible.

At this point, the Nexus world was devoid of Cosmic energy, and that in itself brought forth another layer of devastation that added to the destruction already ongoing.

The Nexus world, like other worlds that possessed Cosmic energy, relied on it to keep its structure and once it was gone, it became incapable of housing the powerhouses such as Semi-Saints and Cosmic Saints.

With the sudden absence of the energy that used to be abundant and should never have been possible to be used up, the Experts felt suffocation and deprivation that made even movement difficult.

The forces of the Sapphirine Cult were exempt from this due to the bolstering they had all received from Hal and the Monument Of Ordinances. The gods the cult was battling were exempt as well due to the divine energy they had within them... Divine energy the majority of the forces of the Cult were sharing.

Anyway,

Hal used the fact that he was now tied to the Nexus world to make the final push into godhood and in the split second before he achieved this, he vanished from the Nexus world.

In a colorful realm of Advancement,

Hal felt a familiarity with the force that pulled him away and it was why he met that force with a smile,

"You are persistent," he said.

"I'm Caring," Nihasa corrected but Hal shook his head,

"No, you're annoying," he said.

"Have you decided to accept my offer?" Nihasa asked.

"Absolutely not. I have succeeded without you, what could I possibly need you for?" Hal asked.

"You know what is coming. Even as you have 'won', you can't escape what they have planned," Nihasa said.

"So you say," Hal told her nonchalantly and made to turn away only to be pulled into her arms.

Nihasa had an arm around him with a hand in his hair... Her second hand was placed against his chest as she pressed her face close to his to overwhelm his senses with her powerful and intoxicating scent,

"You keep testing me... You're a god now. Funny as it might sound, now is when you are most vulnerable to me... Now is the time I can most easily get in contact with you whenever I please.

I find you useful and a partnership between us will do wonders... For us both."

Ever since Hal had met and spoken to his mother, this was the first time Hal genuinely found her to be threatening. He wasn't particularly terrified but he did note the effect the whole thing was supposed to have on him.

The fact that Hal had no comeback made Nihasa giggle and she closed in and then blew air against his earlobe as she said in a breathy tone,

"So... Once again, what do you say?"

...

Hal's disappearance from the Nexus world, which all of his forces could confirm was a total absence, did not stop the ongoing battles.

After having his blood spilled, Karmit's eyes were widened especially since he felt his life force getting torn away from his body.

With his ordinance going out of control, the General could not recover from the effects of Melinda's attack on him and he also could not retaliate.

The only thing he had to rejoice for was the fact that he had managed to avoid getting his head lopped off although that seemed a situation Melinda seemed adamant about changing.

The white-eyed beauty, who had already drawn out a good bit of Karmit's life force into herself to bolster her might, let loose the full extent of the godly might she was sharing from her godly enemies and she let it lose on Karmit.

*BANG!*

Before Karmit could even hit any structures following the attack, Melinda appeared behind him and slashed his back with her sword to draw even more blood before she kicked the godly general into the air.

In the air, Karmit appeared helpless and Melinda looked ready to take swift advantage and put a definitive end to the Asura God but as she got close, her senses warned her and she erected multiple defenses and not a moment too soon as the fraction of a fraction of the energy of Zalser, the Primeval Asura shot out from Karmit and struck Melinda with a force and speed she had no hope against.

The energy was nothing compared to the true might wielded by Zalser but for a small world and a cultivator on the level of Melinda and others in the Nexus world, it was enough.

The attack broke all of Melinda's defenses and struck her into the ground with her clothes charred and her body sporting several injuries.

As she drew on Life energy to heal her injuries, Melinda groaned at how powerless getting struck by the attack had made her feel, and while she was struggling on the ground, Karmit finally got a handle on his body and Ordinance and he turned his sights on her.

He sent an attack at her, knowing that, prone as she was, she would be unable to avoid it and as he did, the Monument released yet another Ordinant disruptive attack to aid Melinda but Karmit shielded himself with the bit of Primeval might that Zalser had granted him.

The fact that Karmit had been given such a trump card was a testament to how serious the Primeval God was with dealing with the abnormality that was Hal and his forces.

The Primeval energy (a fraction of a fraction of it at least) blocked the attack of the Monument while the sent attack kept on its course to Melinda...

*BANG!*

The attack never hit Melinda... The contact it made was against a dainty hand belonging to a lady with Emerald slit eyes.

Sassy did not say a word as her dainty hand successfully encaptured every bit of the attack Karmit had struck out and then she flew up at him, pushing that attack towards him and mixing it with her toxicity which had gained a Divinity that Karmit had paid enough attention to know was new.

Karmit covered himself in Armor Armament pieces as that served to be a faster response than attempting to move out of Sassy's way.

*Bang!*

Sassy's struck him with his own attack which she made harmful to him with the addition of her toxicity.

"Ahh!"

Already, Karmit was surprised by how fast Sassy moved but now he was surprised at how well she handled an attack from him, a Mid-World god when the pressure he could very clearly feel from her was that of a Lesser god...

... also it surprised him how much the attack hurt him.

His Armor pieces were of no consequence.

Melinda's eyes were widened with a smile because she knew that if Sassy was now a god with such incredible ability, there was more to come from the one who had made Sassy's transformation possible, and sure enough,

*Shinggg!*

It happened in the space of a second...

Karmit heard the sound of a sword and by the time he reacted, his attack-wielding arm (the arm he had used to send an attack at Melinda), which he had covered in Armor pieces, was sliced off at the shoulder. Armor and all.

"Arrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhh"

As Karmit let out his scream, Melinda got back to her feet to see Hal appear in the sky holding the sword responsible for cutting off Karmit's arm before he snapped his fingers and summoned multiple pillars of Authority that struck down every one of the gods.

Every one of them was crushed individually by a pillar without the ability to resist and their divine energy became the property of Hal's forces who had already been sharing it.

In the air, Hal's scepter appeared and its bejeweled head opened the Nexus World to a massive influx of  Cosmic energy mixed with Divinity and the spread of the energy came forth like an explosion;

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!*

Never had an explosion felt so calming and being so welcome...

As long as they were not dead, the eyes of every denizen of the Nexus world were on the Sovereign figure that was uniformly present in their sky no matter what side of the World they were at.

The spread of Cosmic energy to every part of the Nexus world that had been deprived, happened in a second, and while the Nexus world remained split and cracked, the ongoing devastations came to a stop.

With a wave of his hand and the barest of glances at the thousands of gods he had crushed, Hal brought Melinda to his side in the air and he wrapped a hand around her waist while Sassy wrapped one-armed Karmit with her tail and brought him to them,

"He belongs to Zalser and that has sealed his fate however, It was your fight, so, darling..." Hal said,

"You decide what we do to him..."
