“So from now on, your work has officially begun?” Ren Hong said, changing the subject. The two of them chatted in Starbucks for more than half an hour.

“Let’s go, my CEO! You’re in for a busy time!” When Ren Hong reached the exit of the compartment, he turned back to Gao Yue and spoke. The latter came back to her senses and immediately followed him.

Ren Hong and Gao Yue leisurely strolled along the pedestrian street when all of a sudden, the former came to a halt and paused his gaze at the door of the bookstore, where there was a world map behind the transparent window. He immediately walked over, placing his right hand on the world map and slowly measured from the approximate location of Beijing to the south.

“What are you doing?” Gao Yue watched curiously.

“I’m choosing a location for the company’s headquarters!” Ren Hong stared at the map and said without turning around.

Upon hearing his remarks, Gao Yue quietly watched. After a long time, Ren Hong’s finger finally landed on a location. He nodded and said, “This is it!”

Gao Yue was surprised to see where his finger landed, “Hainan Island?”

Ren Hong nodded and said, “To be specific, the surfing city of China—Wanning!”

Gao Yue was surprised by the location Ren Hong chose, “I thought the location you choose will either be north of Guangzhou or Hangzhou! The top 10 internet companies in China are all headquartered on the mainland, so why did you choose Hainan Island?” Gao Yue knew that XlouS had barely nothing for now and was tentatively designated as an internet company. After learning about the 12 billion USD contract, the company should step into being one of the top 10 internet companies. In that case, shouldn’t its headquarters be on the mainland too? “I suddenly have a feeling of déjà vu.” Gao Yue looked around and said casually. “Apple started in a garage, Facebook was created in a dormitory, and XlouS was born in a classroom. The first two have become great companies today. They were both born from ordinary places, but in the end, they were so extraordinary. XlouS was also born from an ordinary classroom.
