Let’s find some magic grass

 
 Guided by the moles, I proceeded with my magic excavator through the forests spread across the island to find magic grass. Seems the forest has a lot of monsters.
 I think it’s best to ride in the magic excavator in case of an emergency. And above all, the excavator is fast. That’s why I had Uni and the moles ride with me.
 It’s meant to be a one-person vehicle, but since Uni and the moles are small, so it was possible for them to get on. Although we were closely packed, because they were fluffy, it was actually rather comfortable.
 
 ”Rashaaaaaaah!”
 
 Then a gorilla-like pig jumped out in front. It had an extremely sturdy body which looked like a gorilla’s, yet its face was that of a pig’s.
 
 ”Mogyu~”
 ”Uni-”
 
 Hmm. Marbo seems to have just told me, but apparently that monster seems to be called a Pigorilla. It’s rather fitting.
 
 ”Rasha! Rasha!”
 
 That Pigorilla had a very unusual cry. It kept shouting something like “raxa” all the time. [TL: “ラシャ”(rasha) means felt/woollen cloth in Japanese, apparently derived from the Portuguese word “raxa”]
 
 ”Rashaaaaaaaah!”
 
 Then the Pigorilla hit the excavator we were on. Oh, that’s rather powerful, isn’t it?
 But it’s not enough to cause a scratch. Well, I’ll change the excavator’s mode to clamp mode.
 This mode is specially designed to clamp the opponent. Just from that, it doesn’t sound all that different from fork mode, but in clamp mode, the left and right walls come at you from both sides, so it’s possible to pinch even bigger objects than in fork mode. In addition, the difference in the arm is that the clamp can only move up and down, however, it is able to take the clamped object to a higher position.
 I clamp the Pigorilla that has gone out of its way to come closer! Clamped from both sides!

 The Pigorilla struggles, but it can’t escape so easily. I then lifted the Pigorilla vertically upwards. These clamps are also able to rotate, and the rotating Pigorilla is now facing head down.
 
 ”Eat this! Excavator Bomb!”
 
 The momentum was used to slam the Pigorilla against the ground. With this, the Pigorilla was taken out. This monster that looks like a gorilla seems as though its meat would taste like pork, so I collected it.
 After moving on, we were attacked by a wolf monster. It was a wolf I met soon after I arrived, but these guys attacked without running away.

 According to Marbo, it seems to be called an Aggressive Wolf.
 
 ”Marbo is well-informed.”
 ”Mogu-♪”
 
 He seemed happy when I patted his head and praised him. Seems the moles will tell me about this island’s monsters if I ask.
 Putting that aside, if the wolves come at me so aggressively, then I’ll have to eliminate them too.
 
 ”Long Arm Mode!”
 
 Another mode change. The magic excavator’s arm portion became even longer. Now that it’s in this state… I’ll swing the arm around!
 
 ”This is the Excavator Lariaaaaaaat!”

 The swung arm hit the Aggressive Wolves, blowing the group away. Right, elimination complete.
 Faced with the power of the magic excavator, they dashed off into the forest as is.
 
 ”Mogu-! Mogu~”
 ”This way? It’s getting really dense.”
 
 The overlapped trees seem to be blocking the path. Kind of like a wall.
 However, that’s not a problem. I change the arm to fork mode and quickly clear the forest, moving forward.
 
 ”Mogu~”
 
 Then Yambo showed me the magic grass’s location with his paw. This really is Lai grass!
 I got down from the excavator and diligently collected Lai grass. Uni and the moles helped too.
 Thanks to this, we quickly collected enough. Then the moles told me where to find Ning grass. We collected that too.
 Then we soon returned to the prefab to start working.
 
 ”This is where we live.”

 The moles were surprised. They were really excited when I invited them inside.
 
 ”You can stay here too if you like.”

 The moles were dancing in a circle. After that, they tightly hugged me. They seem happy.
 
 ”Then we’ll have lunch once we’ve finished the work.”

 The moles seemed happy when they heard me talk about lunch. Now, before that, we need to make the chemicals.
 We go to the underground workshop, and crush the magic stones. With that, I mixed it with distilled water and set it in the centrifuge equipped in the prefab, which made pure magic water with any contaminants.
 Then I mixed in the Lai grass and Ning grass and stirred it, causing it to become sticky. With this, the monster repellant paint is ready.
 Well then, I think I’ll have my lunch now…
