Chapter 055 - “You two are quite compatible.” (1)

Teacher Liu had mixed feelings. She looked over at Chu Qianli with something that she wanted to say but finally didn’t say it out loud.

Noticing the microexpression on Teacher Liu, Chu Qianli suddenly understood what Teacher Liu was trying to get at. “Ah, Teacher, you want to find out whether it’s good or bad romantic encounter?”

Teacher Liu replied dully, “Yes. Bad romantic counter should not be counted as romantic encounter, right?”

Chu Qianli blinked. “But whether a romantic encounter is good or bad is very subjective. What is your idea of a good romantic encounter, Teacher?”

“Well, for sure we will be compatible.” Teacher Liu asked dubiously, “Why did you say it’s subjective? Isn’t there no standard for such things?”

Chu Qianli, “What’s honey to one might be poison to another. Some think that an encounter leading to marriage is a good one but many people end up getting divorced and some don’t want to get married at all. Their needs are fundamentally different. What matters is what you are really look for.

“I don’t know what you are look for so I can’t answer that question. It is your life.”

Modern day individuals have different ideas when it came to relationships. Chu Qianli was not in the business to judge others; she merely answered people’s inquiries based on their personalities.

Teacher Liu was frazzled from being urged by her parents at home. Plunging into deep thoughts, she said hesitantly, “Oh darn. I have no idea what it is that I want. I only know what it is that I don’t want.”

If someone was to ask her what she was looking for, she would not be able to answer that. Once she met the person, however, she could immediately tell what it was that she didn’t want.

That was her parents’ biggest complaint. She was picky but she couldn’t articulate criteria that she was looking for.

Teacher Liu had no idea what the transfer student thought of her after hearing what she had said. Having someone came over and not being able to list out her criteria was somewhat unreasonable.

Luckily, Chu Qianli looked just like she normally did and showed no signs of being irritated. In fact, she said to her patiently, “So you have no idea what it is that you want yet. We can have the stars help you with that.”

“The stars?”

“Exactly. We can look at your star chart and figure out what kind of person you like and what traits do they share.” Chu Qianli added, “You may only had some vague ideas in the past but the stars could help you pick out the key points.”

Teacher Liu didn’t understand exactly what she was saying. She thought about it some and nodded. “Okay, let’s take a look then.”

Chu Qianli’s eyes sparkled after she heard that. She suddenly shut here mouth docilely and made a money counting gesture with two fingers.

Teacher Liu, “?”

Chu Qianli said vaguely, “Hehe, Teacher. You see, this is not about the money but we need to have some sort of a contractual relationship. If I was to be reported after I have looked at your star chart, that would be kinda……

“I am not saying that you will entrap me but the society can be a scary place. I have always been careful since I have picked up this trade and old habits die hard……” said Chu Qianli seriously. “I am not trying to say that you are a bad person at all!”

Teacher Liu spent most of her time at school and could easily see through her students. She saw through Chu Qianli right away. Chu Qianli’s divination was magical but her thought process was very simple.

Teacher Liu, “…… It’s fine. I will pay you what you normally charge.”

After Teacher Liu had paid her through their phones, Chu Qianli gathered her star chart information and started her reading.

Staring at Teacher Liu’s star chart, Chu Qianli said to her, “As we are analyzing your natal chart, I will not focus only on the type of men that you like. I will delve some into other areas as well. You have strong energy in Sagittarius and the Third House. That means you will become an expert in passing on knowledge. But as we knew each other from school, you might find that meaningless……”

This information may have been useful if the two of them didn’t already know each other but their relationship was a teacher and her student.

Teacher Liu, “It’s alright. You go ahead and say what you want. I’ll just pick and choose on my end.”

“Mars falls into the Fifth House. You enjoy being around kids. Others might think of teaching as just a job but you truly enjoy your work. You enjoy sharing your viewpoint and others seeing eye to eye with you. That makes you happy. And you have passion in knowledge.” Chu Qianli said respectfully, “You really believe in becoming a good teacher!”

Everyone could lie but their star chart wouldn’t. Every time Chu Qianli looked at someone’s star chart, it was like getting to know that person all over again.

For example, Teacher Liu might feign being friendly to her students; however, if her star chart confirmed that, it meant how she really was overlapped with how she appeared to others.

Teacher Liu admitted helplessly, “Yeah, sometimes this job gets tiring but that is true……”
