Hearing the noises of cards being shuffled from the other end of the phone, Zhang Qiang asked curiously, “Are we going to be looking at the outcome of each choice?”

Zhang Qiang had watched a lot of divination videos and she had an idea how the tarot cards work. They would first talk about the current situation and extend out four different branches, each of them telling the inquirer the outcome of each choice.

“That’s exactly right. You can also give me some random numbers as well. I will send you what the cards look like afterward before I explain each one of them to you.”

Zhang Qiang followed Chu Qianli ‘s instructions and received the photos shortly. Surely, the tarot cards were laid out into four different sets with the current condition one on the very bottom. The tarot cards were laid out like tree trunk and branches.

“The current situation card is the upside down Queen of Swords. You are ambitious and want to improve on the situation but you are also very anxious. You question your own ability and are also troubled by difficult times in the past. This card is a reminder for you to think clearly and you will only achieve accomplishment when you regain your rationality.”

Zhang Qiang was taken aback a little. “Right, when I didn’t hear anything back a while back, I was not in a good state at all. In fact, I was very distressed……”

The divinator sounded very perfunctory, “Mmhmm, mmhmm. You’ve equated my video to praying to deities. It sure sounds like you are anxious.”

“The fourth opportunity is the Four of Pentacles and Three of Wands. You might get a stable income but not a lot of room to grow and you might regret about your decision later on.”

Zhang Qiang, “This one is referred to me by my roommate. She did mention to me that the money is okay but there aren’t a lot of upward mobility.”

“Alright. Now let’s focus on the two remaining ones. The second opportunity is The Devil and Ten of Pentacles and the third one was Justice and Six of Wands. If you are only looking from a career perspective, they both have their own merits.”

The divinator smiled and said, “Everybody is afraid of the Devil card but it is okay for it to appear in your career. Mainly it points toward earthly desires, which is money in this case.

“You will not have to worry about money if you take this job but you will have a lot of pressure during the interview and while holding down this position and always feel that you aren’t doing a good enough job. You will succeed in the end and have material wealth but you will feel empty from the spiritual perspective.”

Zhang Qiang said with difficulty, “Yeah, this one is a big factory and my resume is a bit lacking.”

Zhang Qiang only told the divinator about the type of work but not the actual company names. In theory, there was no way for the divinator to guess that it was a big factory. Zhang Qiang wasn’t very confident about this position. Mainly that a large factory has high requirements but they also pay very well.”

“Then you will have to be very prepared going in. I will venture to guess that the interview would not be easy.” The divinator carried on to say, “The third opportunity has the Justice card. That means that you will be treated fairly at this job. That, along with the Six of Wands, tells you that it will not pay as well as your second opportunity; however, you will feel accomplished at this role. You will feel that you are moving up from your own ability and feel both confident and satisfied.”

“That’s because I have always like the third company the most.” Zhang Qiang quickly followed up and asked, “Then which one should I pick? The second or the third one?”

The divinator said relaxingly, “That’s up to you. I can’t make that decision for you.”

“Huh?”

“If money is what you after, then take the second one. Otherwise, take the third one for the sense of accomplishment. It depends on what you want.”

The divinator added, “I can also summarize this set of cards for you. All of the positive outcomes rely on your own hard work. It has nothing to do with the divination video changing your luck and you are also not as bad as you think you are.”

Zhang Qiang covered up her mouth and said, “Oh mi. You’ve broken me down. I am about to start crying……”
