The Legend of Min Hong

Chapter 176: Ka-Ching! Ka-Ching! Ka-Ching!

But after sensing the subtle gestures the rest of the group were giving them, they finally stood quietly still but Kun Chao still refused to bow and just as he looked to his sister, he was stunned to set this sister of his actually bow to someone else apart from people back home and at work…

Kun Chao was snapped out of his shock when he felt Kun Lin's hot slap on the back of his neck, as she forcefully pressed Kun Chao's neck into a slight bow…

Min Hong then walked into their center and spoke;

"Min Qing would go first, followed by Kun Lin, then, Kun Chao, Long Sha and lastly, me…" He said…

"We include the Kun siblings name and we will challenge the trials in two months…" He added.

The rest of the group became shocked as they thought they still had a week before taking the challenge, but now, it seems they have underestimated the severity of creating a faction within a sect. thus, they all nodded and rose from their slight bow…

It was then that Min Hong brought out two magnificent longswords that had metal edges but the girth of a mysterious ore that was greenish in color…

"This is a pair of Peak-grade White Tier swords, they have been forged from materials that grant a 25% boost to its user's strength…"

He said as he passed one of each to the Mu twins who received it like they were receiving an imperial decree…

With starring eyes and astounded expressions, the Mu twins accepted the swords and were about to thank Min Hong when they remembered one of the truths Min Hong had given them;

"Families and friends shouldn't say thanks…"

So, they just kept the swords that Min Hong just obtained from the 5x Lucky spin roulette he was given by the system… the first spin bought out this twin longswords…

Then he looked over to Long Sha and gave him an extremely sharp matte-colored steel sword which looked blunt to the eyes but extremely sharp to one's sixth sense…

Then he passed it to Long Sha, but didn't say a word and Long Sha himself caught the meaning behind his silence;

"This was a sword so valuable Min Hong couldn't say it out!" that was what Long Sha got from that silence…

Then Min Hong looked to Qing Tan and actually bent till he was her heights, before smiling sweetly like a good uncle smiling to his little nephews and nieces…

Then he spoke softly as he gave her adorable cheeks a pinch, but shockingly, though her face was flushed red at this point, she still stood there unflinching with a serious determination…

Not even only Min Hong, even the rest of the boys were shocked that the Qing Tan who a single glance could fluster would actually stand unmoving in front of Min Hong's taunts…

After another minute of taunting that yielded nothing other than a tomato-red face an a head that was about to pop out smokes, Min Hong finally ceased his teasing, and spoke;

"Fei Qing told me that you liked using the whip, so I got you this…

use it on anyone other than me who taunts you, okay?" He said before he gave the pouting little Qing Tan two pats on her head and handing her a Low-grade Bronze Tier whip which was claimed by the system, to have been forged from the tendons of a water dragon…

After giving them the weapons he had obtained from three spins, Min Hong had begun to worry that would he be so unlucky after three spins and not get a decent reward for himself?

After handing them over, he told Min Qing to give them some cultivation resources in addition to the one they had received about four months ago…

Then when they left, the Mu twins moved into the same apartment, whilst Kun Chao took Mu Bai's apartment because he claimed Mu Li's own was decorated with childish things…

Kun Lin went to stay with Qing Tan which was a move made by Min Hong, so as to allow them bond and not trouble Min Qing in the future… So, Min Qing was left alone and had no choice but to pass the night at Min Hong's apartment [Lol…]

Min Hong then laid on the bed and shut his eyes but surprisingly, Min Qing went straight for the cultivation corner and continued her cultivation as they didn't want to bother each other from training or meditating or cultivating…

Min Hong and Daniel were currently in front of Daisy's panel and were looking at the '2 turns left' that was blinking at the bottom of the screen…

Then Min Hong looked at Daniel and said;

"We have only two left, if we don't get something reasonable, doesn't that mean we are forked?!"

He nervously stared at the roulette lever as they both began to nervously sweat bullets…

Five minutes later, they were both still there, trembling and hesitating like they wanted to pick a diamond on the floor, but a viper was protecting it…

Daniel then broke the nervy atmosphere as he suggested; "Let's roll one each…

That way we wouldn't feel too bad about it…" "Fine… but, you go first…"

Min Hong dumped the anxiety on Daniel who finally touch the roulette lever like someone who was finding the green wire in a bomb…

Ka-ching!

A new message popped up on the screen with the words;

'Fourth Spin Rewards…'

Then they opened it, as an orb with a description tag, popped out into their consciousness…

ts tag read;
