The Legend of Min Hong

Chapter 204: Too Late!

But in front of Min Hong, she might have as well not gone through the trouble because Min Hong saw the tree like he was the one who placed it in there…

But little did she know that even Min Hong wouldn't have seen it if not for the 'Eye of Infinite Dao' which was on another level of power compared to herself and her Daos in their primes…

The barrier Min Hong had initially felt coming from the Dao Tree was actually not a barrier but him obliviously passing through the Space Dao which the lady had placed her Dao Tree within, and Min Hong was only able to achieve that based on three reasons;

The first was the fact that she was already in a severely weakened state, and though they didn't know her level of cultivation when she was alive, they only knew that her soul power alone was equivalent to that of a 4 Star Nascent Soul stage cultivator…

Thus, if one was to go by that calculation as the soul is even harder to cultivate than the Qi then she should at least be in the higher level of the Nirvana Stage of cultivation in the least…

The second was because Min Hong's Daos were of a much superior Tier than her strongest Daos because he was extremely sure that he was the only one in existence to have come in contact with the Oblivion Dao…

Thus, even if she had cultivated the Chaos Dao, Min Hong would still be stronger than her and that was even ignoring the fact that there was still the Primus Dao which was not only stronger than the Chaos Dao but even more mysterious with unknown origins…

Then lastly, was the fact that, what was powering the Dao which was now only the soul force of the Lady was weaker by two levels of cultivation as Min Hong's total battle power was equivalent to that of a 6 Star Nascent Soul stage cultivation which in comparison to her soul power which is in the 4 Star Nascent Soul stage was not too far off but still undeniably weaker than Min Hong's…

Thus, in terms of sheer power, Min Hong was stronger, as well as in terms of their current states which Min Hong was very much stable than her who was doing everything in her power to reduce the rate at which the Death Dao within her was slowly killing her soul…

Then finally, was the fact that there Daos were as far apart as the highest heavens and the deepest depths of hell when it comes to strength…

Min Hong gazed at the tree which was rippling and phasing in and out of existence and based on the reaction he was getting from the smallest branch on his Dao Tree, he was able to ascertain that the lady had used the Space Dao as her primary or base Dao which caused Min Hong to sigh in wonder at the level of wealth one could have to be able to use the Space Dao as a base or primary Dao…

If he hadn't been lucky enough to meet the great creator, then he would have had no choice but to use one of the five elements of nature which according to the Family he was born into would have been the Wind Dao…

He looked at the rest and surely as expected there were the five elements of nature there;

Earth, Fire, Metal, Water and Wind...

Then there was also the Sword Dao Branch as well as the Yin Dao Branch which brought the total amount of Daos she had comprehended to eight which meant that she had actually comprehended eight different Daos to the Law Level albeit different Planes of the Law Level…

Just based on this alone, Min Hong was able to guess that this lady who was now standing speechlessly behind him must have been at least a Demi-god expert when she was at her peak…

Thus, he developed a little bit of respect for the lady, after all, it is not as easy as taking a walk in the park for someone to actually cultivate up to the Demi-god rank...

Thus, after checking the types of Daos that he can could possibly learn anything from which were none other than her Law Level Sword, Metal and Space Dao, Min Hong turned over to the lady and spoke;

"Have you come to a decision yet?" Min Hong asked without looking backwards…

"Can't you just help me without doing this?"

She responded as she heard Min Hong heave a fed up sigh and shake his head in disappointment like he was being forced to do something he truly didn't want to do as he stood up and walked over to the lady's consciousness…

Seeing Min Hong approach her, a sense of foreboding gripped the lady as she tried to retreat only to realize that she had been mysteriously rendered immobile by some mysterious force…

But in reality, it was just her soul being flooded by the Primus Qi which actually immobilized her consciousness…

Thus, Min Hong made a quick hand seal as the 'Imperial Edict' seal appeared over his palm and he brought it over to her chest area…

But just as he was about to implant it within her, she quickly blurted;

"W-wait!"

But Min Hong ignored her with a single speech;

"Too late!"

Knowing that she was going to be enslaved, the helpless lady shut her eyes and awaited herself to be unwillingly enslaved by her soon to be weakling of a master…

But who was Min Hong?

Min Hong had never been the type to force someone to do something against their will…

He always followed a three step thought process which was;

Firstly, extend a friendly recruiting hand, and if that doesn't work, he would use the second step which is to simply do something that will benefit both him and the person...

Lastly, should a person repeatedly provoke him or should he sense any inkling of life threatening danger from that person, he would not hesitate for a thousandth of a breath before deciding to slaughter such a person…

But for this lady which was just unfortunate enough to meet him at the exact time when he was on a hunt for darkness inclined souls, he couldn't actually bring himself to wipe her out completely, but at the same time, he wasn't a good Samaritan, thus, he simply moved past the lady…
