The Legend of Min Hong

It was cool that they had both evolved and improved immensely during this journey, and it was also fantastic that they have Min Rou back, so was it magnificent that they were on their way back with a treasure chest that could most likely put the troves of some Super Clans to shame...

But at the same time, they have to remember that everything was achieved at a cost, and that was the third Spirit Beast that came with them; Long Yueyao, Elder Long's mount, and now they returned to where they buried her, and Little Ming landed as they paid their respects one last time before finally leaving…

Little Ming's mood seemed to elevate after paying her respects to the departed Long Yueyao, and she was easily back to her normal self;

"Elder Yun, I know you have refused to breakthrough because of young master's advice, but your bloodline have sure increased and so as your comprehension of your Daos, not to mention your breakthrough in soul power…" Little Ming began to ramble as usual;

"Save us all the ramblings and go straight to the point…" Elder Yun leisurely rained on her momentum; 

"Geez! What a bummer!"

"Fine… How long will it take you to return to Sunfire City from here?"

Little Ming asked with a daring tone as Elder Yun smiled at her competitive spirit then she replied;

"A day give or take!"

Elder Yun spoke leisurely, stunning not only Little Ming but Elder Yun and Elder Long…

Even Min Rou had boarded the transport ship of a group of mercenaries on her way here, and it had taken them three solid days of flying to reach the outskirts of the jungle, and that is even ignoring the fact that flying ships needs no rest or recuperation, but beasts will eventually run out energy and rest to recuperate…

But here was Elder Yun saying she can travel the same distance in a day, and even if she doesn't need to rest, it was something that would still take a Saint Stage exert almost three days to fly through;

"You are underestimating the power of my Quicksilver bloodline… Though it is only 5 percent pure, it is still more than enough to grant me such speed!"

"What do I get if I can get there in less than a day?" Little Ming asked as she hovered there mid-air and unmoving…

"I will give you that fruit you wanted…"

The fruit Elder Yun just spoke about was obviously some big treasure because everyone atop Little Ming could feel just how excited she was by the way her body trembled in delight; 

"Alright… Master, can you kindly set up a flight protection barrier…"

Little Ming spoke to Elder Long who flicked his wrist, followed by the appearance of a transparent orb that looked like a snow-globe toy…

Min Rou watched with interest as Elder Long activated the orb, and surrounded all of them in a protective transparent barrier that became invisible when it was fully activated…

Then to their surprise they saw all the green scales on Little Ming begin to glow as she warned;

"This is my first time testing this technique…"

Little Ming said as she looked into the distance and saw a very tiny mountain peak…

The mountain peak was so far away from them that half of its height looked like the size of a thumb from Little Ming's current position…

"What!?"

Everyone on board Little Ming blurted in fear, but before they could say anything, all the green scales lit up and the formation of runes on Little Ming surged to life, and then;

Boom!

The fabric of space in front of Little Ming tore apart as a massive tunnel opened leading straight into the void, and Little Ming dove straight in before the tunnel closed behind her with a Swoosh-sound…

Then about five seconds later;

Boom!

The space around the peak of that thumb sized mountain ripped apart, as a massive figure flew directly out of the void and landed on it;

Bam!

Little Ming turned around and everyone also turned around to see that the mountain where they buried Long Yueyao had shrunk to the size of a thumb, as Elder Long blurted;

"How did you do that?"

"I can now teleport from any distance to the extent my physical eye could see…"

"Before I could only move alone or move with inanimate objects, but after my shedding, my gut started to tell me many things have changed, and this was one of them…"

"I can now teleport living things too… But the only downside is, the amount of time it takes me to appear on the other side is determined by the amount of energy I expend when using the technique…" Little Ming explained smugly; 

"So, it took you five seconds to cover such a long distance… How much energy did you expend?"

Elder Long asked as he measured the distance and mentally noted that it would have taken only an expert in the Peak Nascent Soul Stage expert to cover such a distance in five seconds…

"That's the problem… It took almost ten percent…"

Little Ming confessed as Elder Yun and Min Rou commented;

"That was amazing… You're amazing, Little Ming!"

"Master isn't she amazing?"

Elder Yun who had shrunk to the size of a normal Eagle spoke to Elder Long in delight;

"Yes she is… Judging by the amount of energy expended, you should be able to flee from 5 Star Nascent Soul Stage expert, if you use 2 percent of your energy to teleport in a straight line, fifty times…"

"But if you teleport at different random spots with no pattern of any sort, then you should be able to flee from a 7 Star Nascent Soul Stage expert at the same pace…"

"And finally, since this was your first time, and you will gradually improve on the technique with each jump and more practice, I have to say; you are indeed amazing!"

Elder Long completely analyzed as Min Rou kept replaying Elder Long's explanation which in summary meant that;

Little Ming who was in the 7 Star Dan Formation stage with Third Plane Intent Level Void Dao could actually escape from a 7 Star Nascent Soul Stage expert if she fled desperately…

Just the sheer gap in cultivation alone ensured and backed up the fact that such a technique was amazing, and for the person wielding it, even more so…

"You won, I will give you the fruit you asked for once we arrive, but for now, you should focus on using this long journey back to get more familiar with the jumps and perfect this technique more…"

Elder Yun advised, and after Min Rou and Elder Long agreed that delaying their return by several days or weeks will not do any harm, Little Began to jump through one portal after another, and whenever she was tired, everyone would take a quick rest, and shortly after, they would resume traveling through portals, and were beginning to get fascinated by the feeling and view…
