The Only Normal Human In The Universe

Cheng Yang winked at An Yan: "Yan Yan, don't be embarrassed.  You see what kind of relationship we have, there is nothing to hide, right?"

An Yan: "!!!"

An Yan finally thought of a possibility. Could it be that Cheng Yang already knew about his transformation potion, and also knew that Cheng Yi's white tiger form scared him last night?

An Yan suddenly felt flustered. He quickly averted his gaze and said, "Classes are about to start. I need to prep my work first."

Cheng Yang originally wanted to ask a few more questions, but saw that An Yan was feeling shy. He could only give up for awhile but the itch for gossip was burning.

When Cheng Yang quieted down, An Yan then sneakily sent a message to Cheng Yi: [Senior, does Yang Yang already know what happened last night?

Cheng Yi  immediately sensed that things were not simple immediately he received this message, so he asked: [What did Yang Yang say?

An Yan replied truthfully: [He asked me if I was uncomfortable anywhere, and if you hurt me.]

Cheng Yi instantly grasped what his silly brother meant and his face immediately went black. He first sent a message back to An Yan: [He does not know yet. Don’t listen to his nonsense.]

Then he sent a message to his silly brother: [If you dare to talk nonsense in front of Yan Yan again, that high quality potion....]

The words are not finished, but the meaning is quite clear.

Cheng Yang was startled, and quickly stopped his gossiping heart. He did not dare say anything more.

The high quality potion is precious to him. He absolutely can not be robbed by his big brother!

Since Cheng Yang did not say anything strange, An Yan did not think much about it, and began to wonder about another thing.

An Yan was worried because last night's dinner with Cheng Yi received the attention of many students. He thought that he would encounter a similar situation today, but strangely enough, no students took the initiative to mention this to him until the end of the day.

His mother had called him last night, so she must have had something serious to discuss with him.

Cheng Yi quietly waited for his mother to finish this long string of words before he spoke, "Mother, you contacted me last night, so you must have had something serious to say, right?"

Cheng Lin had been so preoccupied with the little hamster that she forgot about her business. It was only now, with her son's reminder, that she remembered: "It's true that I had something serious to tell you, and it's related to An Yan  But you treated me like that, so why should I talk to you about it?"

Although Cheng Lin noticed that there was something wrong with the situation last night, she thoughtfully did not ask more questions. But her son dared to hang up on her without saying a word. It was too arrogant! There was no telling how much he would bully his own mother in the future if she did not teach him a lesson.

Cheng Yi sighed in his heart: "I will bring Yan Yan back to keep you company during the weekend."

It can not be helped, after all, the little hamster and his mother had a video call. It would not be easy to find a reason to decieve her again.

He thought that the little one would not have to work so hard again, but things went in a roundabout way, and came back to the original point.

Cheng Lin really immediately changed her attitude: "You have promised me yourself, so don't make any more stories like Yan Yan meeting another female hamster that he likes and then elopes with her."

Cheng Yi's face went black. If the little one wants to elope, it should only be with him.

Cheng Lin was satisfied: "It's like this. I received news yesterday that An Yan's mother seems to have lost her job a few days ago, and this matter should be related to the Zhao family."

At noon on Friday, Cheng Yi discussed with An Yan about the weekend plans. An Yan would first go home to stay with his mother, and then after dinner, he will come to the Cheng family to show his face.

As for the matter of An Mu’s previous unemployment, Cheng Yi did not tell An Yan.

An Yan packed his things when the last class was over in the afternoon and immediately rushed back home.

An Yan volunteered to go into the kitchen after returning home. He prepared eight dishes and one soup. Although the taste was still average, it was an improvement to his previous cooking. Mother and son ate very happily.

It was already after 7:00 pm when the dinner was finished.

An Yan and Cheng Yi agreed on meeting at 8 p.m. He watched TV with An Mu for a while, and took the initiative to contact Cheng Yi  when it was almost time.

An Mu: [Senior, should I come now?]

Cheng Yi: [I’ll pick you up.]

An Mu:[ No, I can just come over.]

Cheng Yi: [I'm not home yet. I'll pick you up and we go back together.]

Seeing this reply, An Yan then thought of a problem.

Cheng Yi had discussed the situation with his mother so he had to go home with the hamster, otherwise Cheng Lin would certainly ask about the situation if he came empty handed and even get suspicious.

In other words, Cheng Yi could not go home before An Yan was ready.

So, Cheng Yi must have stayed out from the time his classes ended until out

 An Yan couldn't help but blame himself. Why didn't he think of this situation before?
