“I’m telling you, Old Guo… what’s the reason for… this you of today?” Old Zhang smiled very slyly.

“Would you even be able to smile more slyly than now?” Guo Zhi guessed that what he was about to say would not be anything good.

“Hello? Qing Xia?” Guo Zhi yelled. The background sound was noisy, and the music was so loud that even the phone shook. She held up her phone and walked out, and it was only after she was outside that she could hear clearly.

“You’re out?”

“I’m at MIX! Did something happen?” She asked.

“…Never mind, it’s nothing. I wanted to have a drink with you.”

Guo Zhi laughed: “It’s a no go today.”

“Who are you with?”

“A handsome guy. Very handsome guy!” Guo Zhi laughed proudly and deliberately teased Gu Qing Xia.

“Blind date partner?” Gu Qing Xia asked.

Hearing that sound, Guo Zhi turned. Alex was standing at the door of MIX and looking at her.

Alex felt like the woman who was by his side and the sister Guo that he knew were two completely different people.

“Let’s rest.” She said and turned to leave the dance floor.

During weekends, even the hallways of MIX were crowded.

When they returned to the sofa, the table was full of brightly colored cans. On the cans, the words “Four Loko” were printed. The group of men and women stopped drinking beer and changed to drinking cups of this drink.

Old Zhang saw them returning from the dance floor, and his gaze flashed. He found an empty cup, poured into it until it was full, and handed it to Guo Zhi: “Try this, it’s a new type of drink.”

Old Zhang proudly thought to himself while smoking.

Guo Zhi moved her face to look in another direction and acted as if her left hand was free. She tasted a sip of that drink, and it was sweet like fruit juice.

“What’s this? It’s tasty.” She said.

Even though Alex had plans, he was not a bad person. He saw that Guo Zhi liked it and that she wanted to continue drinking and could not take it anymore. He grabbed her hand, moved his lips to her ear, and said: “Sister Guo, don’t drink anymore. This drink is very strong. With your alcohol tolerance, one can will be enough to make you lose consciousness.”
Guo Zhi was slightly startled. She lifted her eyes to look at Old Zhang, and he was smoking a cigarette with a fiendish smile.

Goddamnit! My matters are not for you to worry about!

Old Zhang saw her gaze and understood that the little kid had told her. Tch, his character is not bad. Little Guo Zhi, go, go, go! He laughed even more fiendishly.

Guo Zhi wanted to kick him, but she felt the heat radiating from the boy’s body. It was killing her.
