C10 – Two Devils

In the damp execution room, the man’s skin was visibly torn, yet he remained steadfast and refused to reveal the person behind him, even in the face of death. “Hee Jingyan, I won’t confess no matter what you do to me,” he declared.

Hearing this, Hee Jingyan sneered, “That batch of weapons will be enough to keep you behind bars for the rest of your life. I suggest you be honest with us. I won’t let you off easily.”

Hee Jingyan sat on the side, appearing like a master, casting cold glances at the man. His tone was neither hurried nor impatient, as if he wanted to drag out the interrogation as long as possible.

By his side sat Xu Yangyi, who seemed to be dozing off, while Loong Shen waited behind him.

The man spat at Hee Jingyan and snorted with blue lips, “If you have the guts, make me wish I was dead, Hee Jingyan. Stop wasting time with your threats. I’ll follow you to the end.”

However, the moment the man finished his sentence, Hee Jingyan chuckled softly, “Loong Shen, tell me what I should do.” Although he wasn’t seeking Loong Shen’s opinion, he had already issued an order to him. But the man was unaware and sneered, “I heard you, Hee Jingyan, are a big shot. I didn’t expect you to rely on your subordinates for such a small matter.”

Despite the man’s earlier remark, Loong Shen interrupted and asked, “Have you done?” Without waiting for a response, he drew out his sword and swiftly slashed the man’s chest, causing blood to splatter. Before the man could feel any pain, the sword struck again, tearing through flesh and muscle.

The man coughed up blood and fell to his knees, propping himself up with one hand. His composed demeanor had vanished, replaced with visible fear and trembling eyes.

“I wonder if you’ve changed your mind,” Wu Tie commented, his attention focused on Xu Yangyi’s face as he smiled indifferently. His cool demeanor remained intact throughout the entire ordeal.

Meanwhile, Loong Shen appeared harmless, but with a single wave of his sword, blood dripped down, instilling fear in those around him.

The man’s fear became more pronounced upon hearing their conversation. “Please, don’t kill me, don’t kill me…” he pleaded, tightly holding onto Hee Jingyan’s pants and begging for mercy.

Wu Tie kicked the man to the side and commanded, “Record every word and place the report on my desk.” With that, he picked up Xu Yangyi and walked out of the execution room.

Loong Shen chimed in and joked, “Who dares to go against you?”

Hee Jingyan didn’t seem interested, replying with a lazy tone, “Who knows? It’s not like I asked to be famous.” This wasn’t the first time that something had happened in the military camp he was in charge of. There were always people who were jealous and wanted to give him trouble.

“Last time, it was about morale, and this time, it’s about the military. What will be next?” Loong Shen said, with an intimidating tone as he wiped the perverted look off his face. “I’m looking forward to it. My sword has been craving something new.”

“Then, I’ll let you have your fun from now on,” replied Hee Jingyan.

“Really? That’s great! I want to know how many times a person can be cut before they’re done,” Loong Shen said, excitedly.

As they spoke, the corners of their mouths slightly raised. They were both like talking to demons.
