C17 – Arrogance

“Let me go, you bastard! I want to go home.” Xu Yangyi wasn’t concerned if the people holding him were insane or perverts; he just wanted to leave. He struggled to break free from Hee Jingyan’s embrace, but his waist was tightly held by Hee Jingyan’s hand, making it impossible to move.

“Hey! I said, don’t make me get rough with you, old man.” Xu Yangyi immediately glared at Hee Jingyan and threatened when he saw him loosen his grip. His range of movement extended to his ears, which was quite peculiar.

However, Hee Jingyan remained unfazed and smiled, “Going home? To my place or the one we just returned from?” He knew Xu Yangyi meant returning to his own home, but he didn’t mention his home.

“Obviously, I want to go back to my own home. What the f*ck is wrong with that!?” Xu Yangyi didn’t want to continue discussing this matter and remained silent.

He coldly gazed at Hee Jingyan and warned, “Are you going to release me or not?” His icy threat was quite effective, and it didn’t look bad at all, especially in front of Hee Jingyan.

But who was Hee Jingyan? No one had ever dared to threaten him before. He boldly declared, “What if I don’t let you go? My dear wife, what do you think?” He even raised his eyebrows, challenging Xu Yangyi’s temperament!

“Well?” Xu Yangyi coldly snorted and glared at him. He suddenly snatched the pistol from Hee Jingyan’s waist with lightning speed, pointing it at Hee Jingyan’s head, “I’ll only shoot you in the ass.” He then pointed the muzzle of the gun at Hee Jingyan’s forehead and commanded, “Take me out immediately. Let’s go.”

Despite his youth, Xu Yangyi’s gaze was fierce and devoid of innocence. This display of courage left the soldiers surprised and slightly taken aback. They had not anticipated such a level of deterrence from someone so young.

Hee Jingyan kept his grip around Xu Yangyi’s waist, creating an amusing sight. However, he still cautioned, “Wife, these bullets are lack of ‘eyes’. Don’t you dare damage your husband’s brain.” His manner was neither hurried nor anxious. He believed that Xu Yangyi was only trying to intimidate him and wouldn’t dare to pull the trigger.

Zuo Bo and Loong Shen, who were standing nearby, also raised their hands, indicating their intentions. They weren’t restless or uneasy about Hee Jingyan’s safety. They probably thought that Xu Yangyi wouldn’t actually fire the gun! After all, despite his proficiency, he was still young and would be afraid of such a deadly weapon. Xu Yangyi’s favorite firearm was the handgun, and he had won the city shooting competition, which made him a dangerous person.

Xu Yangyi seemed to think they didn’t have the guts to shoot, so he sneered suddenly and fired a shot at the ceiling without saying a word. Then, pointing the gun at Hee Jingyan’s forehead, he said, “You guys must be disappointed. To me, a gun is just a toy. Don’t compare me to other kids.” If anyone looked down on him, they would meet a miserable end.

Xu Yangyi was skilled in many things because his mother was a weapons collector, and he had been learning about guns since he was young.

Moreover, because of his appearance, he was often viewed as a weakling and was bullied by others. In order to prove them wrong, Xu Yangyi specifically sought out a teacher to train him and beat up anyone who dared to underestimate him.

Overall, Xu Yangyi was not someone to be trifled with.
