C3 – Conflicts

As soon as the loud slap echoed, Xu Jing was terrified and his mouth opened wide. “My little ancestor, please spare me!” he pleaded.

He rushed to Hee Jingyan and apologized profusely, “Mr. He, are you okay? I’m sorry, I’m sorry. It’s just that my family has a quick temper… please forgive us and don’t take it to your heart.” In his mind, Xu Jing was thinking Xu Yangyi didn’t just have a bad temper. “If he loses his temper, it would be a disaster.”

The thought of his son’s volatile temper sent shivers down his spine. Although he had portrayed Xu Yangyi’s temper as merely bad, the truth was it was much worse than that.

Only thinking about that made him break out in a cold sweat, and this was his own flesh and blood.

Suddenly, he licked the hot inner wall of his cheek and felt something scale-like. As if it was nothing, he lifted Xu Yangyi’s chin and forced him to look at him. “I didn’t expect my new wife to be such a spitfire. She’s quite feisty. Women like her arouse my desire for conquest, so there’s nothing wrong with it.”

“I have something more aggressive. Do you want to try it?” Hee Jingyan provocatively said to Xu Yangyi, who sneered and patted away his big hand. Proudly turning his head, Xu Yangyi ignored Hee Jingyan and walked towards the door.

If it weren’t for Xu Yangyi’s current condition, he would have beaten Hee Jingyan to a pulp for daring to touch him. It was only natural for Xu Yangyi to be furious.

Still fuming, Xu Yangyi suddenly turned around and glared at Hee Jingyan. Xu Jing felt that something was wrong and hurriedly went over, not having the chance to tell Xu Yangyi to calm down. Xu Yangyi had already suppressed his anger and spoke in a shocked tone, “Dad, can I cripple this guy?” His fists clenched, he was ready to attack at any moment.

Despite his young age and his height of only 1.68 meters, Xu Yangyi was a fifth-degree black belt in Taekwondo. In the world of Taekwondo, he was considered a master and could directly apply to be an international coach or referee.

Xu Jing’s cheeks sunk in as he quickly lowered his voice and said, “No, no, are you trying to get us sent to jail?” Tears almost fell from Xu Jing’s eyes as he wondered why Yangyi wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything while they were as timid as mice.

Hee Jingyan walked briskly forward, glancing at the two whispering again. He saw Xu Yangyi’s angry expression but assumed he must have kissed her and was now being punished for it. Despite this, Hee Jingyan was pleased.

So you couldn’t wait to follow me to the auditorium! Great! How about we speed up a bit? Hee Jingyan’s thin lips curled with delight as he spoke, causing a nobleman to pick up Xu Yangyi, who was now as pale as a ghost, and rush towards the wedding hall in big strides.

Xu Yangyi wasn’t going to be carried by Hee Jingyan without a fight. He struggled with all his might but when he saw Hee Jingyan release his grip, he stopped. He knew Hee Jingyan would slap him if he tried to fight back again.

Xu Yangyi didn’t need Hee Jingyan to explain what he meant. He chuckled coldly as he twitched the corner of his mouth and said, “I doubt you’d even be able to swallow it.”

Soon, Xu Yangyi stopped struggling and became submissive. He saw his father, Xu Jing, was about to die of embarrassment, as if his soul was ascending to heaven.

I’ll let you have your wedding once, but let’s see how I’ll deal with you, Xu Jing muttered under his breath.

I just wonder who will end up taking care of whom, Hee Jingyan thought to himself with a grin.
