Practicing Special Moves 

This is Effa's episode, as she have not had many appearances lately.

Day 1 of the holiday.

That morning, Effa and I were standing in the academy square.

We decided to do the shopping tomorrow and spend today with Effa's training.

「I have something to show you today, Master!」

I don't tell her about the Demon King, but I do tell Effa that I'm going on a journey.

Today Effa was even more enthusiastic than usual, perhaps it was because she wouldn't be able to train with me for a while.

「What do you want to show me?」

When I asked, Effa smiled triumphantly.

「It's a special move!」

「Ooo! You've mastered a special move!?」

While I wasn't looking, Effa seemed to have grown significantly.

As her master, I am delighted.

「Yes! I want master to see if it works against demon!」

「Against a demon, huh......」

It's great that you've come up with a special move...... but if you're asking me if it will work against demons, I'm going to be strict.

If I give her a lenient evaluation, Effa might actually try to fight demons.

「Let's see what you got.」

Whatever it is, there's no way to evaluate it without actually seeing the special moves.

Effa closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.

Then Effa concentrated and opened her eyes with a snap.

「Teya!」

After chopping through the air, she make a paper shape with her hands.

「Two type!」

(T/N: Not really sure what this mean but looking at the kanji and the situation I think this is the most appropriate. RAW: ２色っす！)

She threw a slap in the air.

Then she looks at me with a big smile on her face.

「What do you think!」

「……」

Even if you ask me like that......

「If my eyes were right, it looked like chops and slaps to me.」

「Master's eyes are right!」

I knew it was chops and slaps.

「By the way, what is the meaning of the "Two type"?」

「I'm imitating master! I was so impressed by master's special move that defeated the Demon King, I've been practicing hard!」

It was an unintentional move, and I didn't mean to slap him as a special move...... Well, it's not wrong in the sense that it's a "sure kill move".

「Did I do a chop?」

「Master has cleaved the earth with his chop!」

「Ah, that time......」

That wasn't a chop, I was just a swinging the magic wand.

Well, even though I didn't intend to, I did kill the golem, and in that sense, it's a "sure kill move".

「So, how was it? Was I able to recreate Master's special move properly?」

「Let see......」

Aside from the power, the movement was very similar.

I'm sure Effa burned my figured in her eyes and practiced chops and slaps day after day.

Though I would have liked she to have some more actual training if possible......

But she had been practicing properly, and I guess I should praise her for that.

「I thought there was another one of me.」

「Really!?  Yatta!」

Making a gut pose, Effa gave me a sparkling look.

「I want to learn more and more of Master's special moves! What other moves do you have?」

「Moves huh......」

「Yes! I want you to teach me the move you use to defeat Demon King!」

「When it comes to the techniques that defeated the demon king...... I'd have to say fists, punches, backfists, and sneezes.」

And the other Demon King destroyed himself.

For the record, the fists was used against the 《Emperor of Darkness》, the punch was used against the 《Emperor of Earth》, the backfist was used against the 《Emperor of Wind》, and the sneeze was used against the 《Southern Emperor》.

......No, I don't know if I can call sneezing a technique.

「I see! I guess the easiest one to learn is sneezing! I'm going to practice sneezing! ......Hekuchi! How about it?」

「Nice sneeze. But you can't become a martial artist just by practicing special moves.」

Effa was puzzled.

「Is that so? ......So, how can I become like master?」

「Alright. Then we'll do strength training together for the rest of the day!」
