“Mis-…Master, it’s alright. Don’t-, Please do not be nervous!”

In front of my departing carriage, Eril was stumbling over her words as she continuously changed her mind about her way of speaking.

After taking over the title of Viscountess, my title was changed from ‘Miss’ to ‘Master’.

“It’s really okay. It’s okay so…!”

“Eril, calm down. Why do I think that you are even more nervous than me?”

I, who was actually leaving, patted Eril on the shoulder to calm her down.

Eril took a deep breath, but her voice was still trembling.

“Bu- but milady, it’s the Cheshire Merchant Group. How can I not be nervous when the lady is joining Cheshire?!”

I smiled quietly.

It was as Eril had just said.

My entry into the organisation proceeded smoothly according to plan. Today was the day of admission.

Unlike other members who were free to commute, the apprentices, who were like interns, had to stay at the Guild for a month.

For that, it meant parting with Craycia for a while.

But Eril seemed more excited about the fact that I had joined the Cheshire Merchant.

“The Cheshire Group is one of the greatest Merchant Group. It is a famous place where only the elites gather…! To hear that milady’s joined such a place, I really…hic.”

It was just my joining a Merchant Guild, but I could see why she made such a fuss.

It’s not any usual Merchant after all. Cheshire was at the top. It was a place where even nobles could not easily join.

She was touched that her master, the owner of Craycia, who once did not have anything in hands, joined such a place.

I’m going to become the Guild’s head in the future though.

When that time came, I wondered if she was going to pass out from shock.

Just thinking about it made me laugh.

But before long, Eril’s expression quickly turned serious.

“I am really worried. What if the ones who joined first treat you harshly because you’re new? The mis-… If my master gets bullied, I won’t be able to stand it!”

“Alright, alright. If things get too hard, I’ll just run away.”

I’m not sure if such a thing would happen though.

Bullying between seniors and newbies existed everywhere.

Not to mention, the pride of the Cheshire members was quite great. And I suddenly joined mid-way through, it was indeed hard to view me nicely.

It’s just a bit funny to me though.

From the establishment of the Cheshire Merchant Guild to the work life in Korea, I had amassed nearly 12 years long of work experience and social experience.

I had transcended envy, tolerance at times when people wanted to keep me in check, or human relationships.

Besides, the Guild was what I grew.

She probably had no idea how many types of humans I had encountered in the process…

Ugh I’m getting angry again just at the thought of it.

I soon shook my head quickly, brushing off the displeasant past.

Then, I said in a friendly tone to Eril, who still had a worried expression on her face.

“Don’t worry, and do take care of the manor with Hillary while I’m away.”

Hillary was my escort, but she couldn’t go in and out of the Guild.

Wouldn’t it be funny if an apprentice member, the lowest level member, was accompanied by an escort?

“All right. Do not worry.”

Hillary said firmly.

“Me too…I will take thorough care of the Craycia Viscounty as the head maid while the master is away!”

Eril swore while rolling up her forearms.

At the cute Eril, I smiled faintly and got into the carriage while Hillary loaded my luggage for me.

I could barely stop Eril from filling my big suitcase with all sorts of stuff, and I only had the bare minimum.

“Please take care of yourself while you are away.”

“I’ll be back!”

After saying goodbye to the two of them, I left the Viscounty.

As the carriage departed, I let out a deep sigh, undid one of the neck buttons and relaxed my posture.

I turned my head to take in the scenery of the fast-moving street.

I said it’s okay, but…

How could I possibly be okay?

It’s the first time I went back to Cheshire after a few years.

It was like my home.

I’m actually so nervous right now.

I put my hand near my heart.

(Thump thump).

My heart was beating wildly, like it was going to explode.

Maybe I’ll die of a heart attack before I can even get there?

I was so anxious.

Before long, I closed my eyes.

As my vision went black, my mind became calmer.

Let’s not get too worked up.

I tried to keep my head as cool as possible.

It’s just the beginning.

I still had a long way to go to get there. To become the headmaster once again, to reclaim the things that were mine, and…

I have to find those who killed me.

There was one thing that bothered me.

Where did my body go?

9 years in my time, 7 years ago in this world time, on my way to the Milliore Kingdom, I was decapitated by strangers wearing white robes with crows on them.

And when I opened my eyes, I was back in Korea.

When I returned to Korea, my body was back as an 18-year-old high school student. My long hair was also shortened, and the scars from multiple incidents had completely disappeared.

What’s more, I was taken to the hospital. Clearly, I had fallen into a manhole and entered this world, but my body remained in the manhole before being transferred elsewhere.

Judging from it, it could be said that the body in this world and the body in Korea coexisted.

In other words, it meant that even if I fell into another world, my consciousness would disappear, but my body would remain the same.

It was easy to understand when considering my other self.

Even if the mind disappeared, the body did not. The fact that I died in the Cliff Empire, but my body in Korea was unharmed was proof of that.

Then my body must remain as it is.

However, according to Leone, they had searched all around the area where the accident occurred, but could not find my body.

It was not even buried.

They couldn’t find it even with a detecting magic tool.

Then the remaining possibilities were…

They either got rid of it so that it wouldn’t even leave a trace, or they moved it to a place where no one could find it.

For a moment, goosebumps arose all over me.

I’d rather have it gotten rid of.

The thought that my body might be stored in a place I didn’t know gave me the creep.

I don’t even have a clue about who killed me, but I must find out.

It’s not just out of revenge or resentment.

They must have killed me according to some sort of plan.

Judging by the silence so far, it seemed that the plan had not once been discovered…

Perhaps the plan was deeply related to me. That’s why they killed me.

I don’t know what their plan is, but if it has anything to do with me, I can’t just leave it alone.

And if there was a traitor in the Merchant, finding him was also important.

My mind and fluttering heart calmed down at the thought.

Right. This is not the time to be nervous.

I was not going to fool around.

I once again made up my mind. And before I could notice it, the carriage had entered the commercial complex.
