The day after I met Shizuku-chan.
We gathered in my room to talk first.
The members are Hurst-san, Ryleigh-kun, and Zezgard-san. And me and Shizuku-chan.
Thruster-san doesn’t care about his surroundings, and keeps the special squad in the tower so that Shizuku-chan and I can have a conversation.
My room is a wooden corner room, so it’s bigger than in the royal palace.
The reception set is very useful.

“Well then, again. I’m Isarai Shina. I used to work as an office worker in Japan.”

“I’m Mizunami Shizuku. . . I’m a high school student.”

We sat side by side on the sofa and gave a brief introduction.
After eating polar bear nabeyaki udon, I feel like we’ve become really good friends, but I haven’t introduced myself yet.
Once again, we said our names and wrote each name on a piece of paper placed on the low table.
Because I wanted to know how to write Shizuku-chan and the kanji.

“Shizuku-chan. . . Write ‘droplet’-chan. It matches your last name, and it feels very clean.”

Looking at the kanji Shizuku-chan wrote, I let out a sigh.
Judging from the name, it is very fresh.
Compared to that, I. . .

“‘Isarai’ is written as a small well, but people don’t read ‘Isarai’ at the beginning. . . It’s often read as ‘Shoi’ or ‘Oi’.”

“Is it ‘Hey’? . . . If that’s the case, when it’s the same as the name. . .”

“Yeah. ‘It’s delicious.’ Suddenly, it’s a compliment to food.”

Misreading of name kanji that only Japanese people can understand.
My surname ‘Isarai’ is hard to read, and when paired with the name ‘Shina’, it usually makes me laugh.
It’s a handy life hack because people I meet for the first time can remember my name.
When I told Shizuku-chan about that and smiled broadly, Shizuku-chan also smiled softly.

“. . . cute.”

When Shizuku-chan said that, she carefully picked up the paper I wrote my name on.

“Um. . . Can I call you Shina-san?”

“Of course. I called you Shizuku-chan, so can I continue to call you Shizuku-chan?”

“Yes!”

Shizuku-chan laughed really happily.
A smile that makes you want to hug her.

“Shina-san”

“Shizuku-chan”

“Shina-san”

“Shizuku-chan”

“. . . Shina-san.”

“. . . !”

Shizuku-chan called out my name, so I returned it.
Then, Shizuku-chan also called my name back.
Warm air flowed. At the end, Shizuku-chan was embarrassed and shy.

Cute.
It’s so cute it takes my breath away.
What is this?

“Shina-san, are you okay?”

“Uh, huh. . . phew.”

I had trouble breathing.
Ryleigh-kun, who was sitting next to me on the right, gently spoke to me.
When I exhaled in time with that voice, my breathing resumed.

“Thank you. It’s okay now.”

The oxygen level was amazing.
A smile that is too cute cut off the oxygen supply.

After catching my breath, I briefly introduced Hurst-san and Ryleigh-kun.
Zezgard-san sat in a fixed bay window and passed in silence.

“Shina-sama. Now that you’ve calmed down, let’s get to the main topic.”

“Yes. That’s right.”

After the introductions were over, Hurst-san, who was sitting on the sofa in front of us, urged us to go ahead.
Right now, Thruster-san is holding the Special squad, so we can talk freely like this, but that doesn’t mean it will last forever.
As long as Thruster-san is motivated, it should be fine, but if he wants to see Ryleigh-kun, he will definitely send the special squad here. And And he’ll do his best to take Ryleigh-kun. There’s no doubt.
So let’s get to the point.

“Shizuku-chan, do you have any idea why you can’t use your skills?”

Cut out the troublesome things and get straight to the point.
Then, Shizuku-chan lowered her eyes and muttered quietly.

“Nothing in particular. . .”

‘Nothing in particular.’
Contrary to her words, I can see that her voice contains some kind of thought.
It’s probably a topic she doesn’t want to touch on.
But I want to hear Shizuku-chan’s words.
So, even though I didn’t have time, I waited until Shizuku-chan started talking by herself.
Just being silent would make her uneasy, so I gently shook her hand.

“. . . um”

Then the silence fell, a little.
Shizuku-chan slowly spun her words.

“In the first place, I don’t really understand skills. . .”

“Yeah.”

“Honestly, I wonder what you’re talking about. . . I think that. . .”

“. . . . I see.”

Hearing Shizuku-chan’s words, I nodded.
If you’re suddenly summoned to another world and told you have a skill, you would normally be troubled. I was troubled too.

“Me too, I wondered what it was.”

“. . . Shina-san too?”

“Yeah. But since I decided to live happily, and when I chanted it, I could do it. . .”

I wonder if this will be helpful. . .
I feel like Shizuku-chan’s imposing skills and my mysterious skill are too different. . .

“My skill is called [Summon Kitchen], but when I cast it, I’m summoned to the kitchen.”

“Shina-san will be summoned to the kitchen. . .?”

Eh? Shizuku-chan tilted her head.
Yes. She don’t really understand it.

“Yesterday, when I made polar bear nabeyaki udon, I suddenly had a tray in my hand, didn’t I?”

“Yes. I was a little surprised.”

“That’s because I used my skill, I went to a kitchen in a different space, made food and came back.”

“It was like that. . .”

Shizuku-chan listened with a face like she understood but didn’t understand.
I don’t mind her having a vague understanding of what my skill is, so I’ll leave it at that and continue the story.

“So, there’s still a secret to my skill. I think your body glowed brightly after eating. . .”

“Yes. That surprised me too.”

I’m sorry for surprising you. . .
You were a little surprised. . .

“My skill is. . .”

Staring into each other’s black eyes. . .

“When you eat it, you get stronger.”

“You get stronger when you eat it.”

“You feel better when you eat it.”

“You feel better when you eat it.”

Cute. Cute repetition. The blank face is also cute.

“I don’t understand skills at all either.”

“. . . Is that so”

“But it’s kind of interesting.”

I smiled at Shizuku-chan who was looking straight up at me.
Then, Shizuku-chan nodded slightly.

“When Shina-san says that, I feel like that. . .”

Her small voice made me hold Shizuku-chan’s hand tightly.
Shizuku-chan also grabbed me back, so I got fired up.

“Then, I will use my skill to make food from now on. Maybe that will help Shizuku-chan use her skills.”

“If I eat Shina-san’s food, I might be able to use my skills. . .?”

“Yeah. Hurst-san told me about it, but it seems that my skills have the power to strengthen the skills of those who eat them. That’s why I thought Shizuku-chan might be able to use them as well.”

“Strengthen my skills. . .”

“Also, Ryleigh-kun’s body was weak, and the balance with his skills was bad, so it seems he couldn’t use his skills. But now he’s able to use them. I thought you might be able to use the skills even with that effect.”

That’s why I recommended that you try it, but Shizuku-chan’s expression clouded over.

“. . . But still, I can’t use my skills. Even though Shina-san made it for me, if I couldn’t do anything. . .”

Shizuku-chan’s eyes shook with anxiety.
That’s why it’s fine, I nodded strongly.

“It’s totally fine. In that case, just having Shizuku-chan eat it deliciously is enough.”

Yes. If Shizuku-chan thinks it’s delicious, I’ll be very happy.

“Also, my kitchen can actually evolve, but I need people to eat my food.”

For some reason, there’s no ‘OL’s shyness’.

“If Shizuku-chan eats it for me, it will only help me.”

“. . .I also. . . want to eat Shina-san’s cooking.”

“Then only good things could happen.”

Overwhelming win-win. Perfect.

“It’s not that I really want Shizuku-chan to be able to use her skills. However, being able to use her skills might lead to protecting Shizuku-chan. I think it’s important for Shizuku-chan to be able to choose whether to use them or not.”

“. . .Yes.”

Even if she could use her skills now, she could hide it here.
I think it’s important for Shizuku-chan to increase the number of things she can do, increase the number of cards she has, and think about what she wants to do and what she can do.

“I’ll use my skill from now on, so watch it. It might be helpful.”

“. . . Understood.”

“Then, Hurst-san, Ryleigh-kun, just a little please.”

“Yes.”

“Yeah. Leave it to me.”

Zezgard-san is a little far away, so I raised my hand slightly.
Then put my heart into it!

“[Summon Kitchen]!”

Just when I felt my body floating as usual, there was a familiar kitchen.
A one-room mini-kitchen. It’s my favorite ideal.
I decided to start cooking right away, so I went to the LCD to exchange points.
Here I can see my recent point earning history.

. . . Yes. It has some amazing displays.
The most recent point acquisition was the polar bear nabeyaki udon I made for Shizuku-chan.
The display is amazing. . .

‘Saint’s Tears 20,000pt’

“Twenty thousand points”

Rate collapse! Inflation!

The kanji for Shina’s name can be read as oishina which is one way to say ‘It’s delicious’ in Japanese. I think Shizuku hasn’t accepted that she can’t go home, and that’s the reason she can’t use her skill. Just my guess though. But she really inflated the point rate. I wonder if it’s just because she’s the saint. Will it keep being crazy high like that?
